There is a similar german uservoice which requests to store word, excel, ... files directly as pdf (https://docuware.uservoice.com/forums/230575-client-deutsch/suggestions/38200966-archivierte-word-excel-dateien-usw-im-archiv-als). Perhaps, another solution is to transfer or Sync the files and store them as pdf in the destination.
It is very difficult to handle versions and stuff when every user could downlod/ export the original file-formts. Wondering why this have only one voice?
