Anker auch für SmartConnect-Buttons verfügbar sind
Bei SmartConnect-Konfigurationen können für die Auslesebereiche Anker definiert werden. Diese Anker stehen für die SmartConnect-Buttons nicht zur Verfügung. Es wäre wünschenswert auch die Buttons abhängig von Ankern anzeigen zu lassen.

Zoom to intelligent index zone
Similar to many capture products Intelligent Indexing should have a configurable option to "zoom to zone" so that when the user is focused on a certain field (say the Invoice Number) the document viewer will zoom into that highlighted location on the document. This helps achieve a quicker review of the document. An example of this is attached.

API um DW Funktionen zu überwachen
Wir haben oft das Bedürfnis DocuWare Funktionen mit Nagios/Zabbix zu überwachen. Dazu wäre eine API sehr hilfreich. Folgende Funktionen könnten damit dann überwacht werden:
DocuWare Import Jobs (status/Dokumente in Warteschlange - falls mal ein Pfad nicht zur Verfügung steht, wird Import abgebrochen, aber nicht automatisch fortgesetzt)
Auto Index (status/Meldungen/Laufzeit - ob ein Job die maximale Laufzeit überschritten hat, o.ä.)
WorkflowManager (Dokumente in Verarbeitung / weitere statistische Werte)
Allgemeine statistische Werte (wie viele Dokumente im Archiv, wie viele kommen täglich dazu, letzte Fehlermeldungen, ...)
Auch wäre es schön beim Zugriff auf diese API keine extra Lizenz zu verbrauchen, sondern den Zugriff…

Allow attachments that are sent to outlook from web client to be copy/pasted into another active email thread without having to save locally
In outlook, you can copy/paste attachments from 1 open email thread to another without saving locally first. When sending attachments to outlook via the web client, all other outlook windows are locked (disabled), forcing you to save the attachments locally before moving them to various other emails.

If triggering a new mail from outside of Outlook there is no possibility to copy and paste attachments. Try this with the windows functionality of “Send to email” from the Windows Explorer.

Mehrere E-Mails mit gleicher Indexierenung ablegen
Es wäre großartig, wenn man mehrere E-Mails, die zum gleichen Thema gehören, markieren könnte und sich dann das Fenster zum Ablegen nur einmal öffnet!

In der Archive Administration sollte es die Möglichkeit geben das Ablegen von Dokumenten aufbestimmte Dateiformate

Connect to Outlook: Able to Attach a Document from a Quick Search to an Email Reply
Situation: You have an email from which you need to reply to and attach a Document From DocuWare.
Suggestion: Rather than having to either download it or send it as a new document via the Quick Search, you should be able to pick the document and attach it directly to a specific email as an attachment. It would make it more efficient for people who use C2O and Outlook exclusively.

Separate the Check Out/Check In and Set As Current Version Rights For File Cabinet Profiles
Currently the Check Out/Check In and the Set as Current Version rights are bundled together as the "Check Out" right under the File Cabinet Profiles.
These should be considered as separate rights as we should be able to give users the right to Edit and the ability to set previous versions to current versions without giving the users right to Check Out a document.

Vorindexierte Werte in Listenansicht und Indexkartenansicht im Briefkorb anzeigen
In der Listenansicht und Indexkartenansicht im Briefkorb werden in selbst festgelegten Feldern vorindexierte Werte nicht angezeigt, lediglich bestimmte Systemwerte.
Es sollte möglich sein, diese anzuzeigen.Am Besten wäre eine Konfiguration der Briefkörbe ähnlich den Ergebnislisten.

Möglichkeit OCR Basierte Services/ Features Abzuschalten
Wenn schnell Dokumente Indiziert werden und man auf die Ladezeiten der Einzelnen Seiten angewiesen ist, ist es sehr ärgerlich, dass der Webclient bevor er eine Seite anzeigt, eine OCR vom Server anfordert.
In der Praxis kommt daher oft sehr viel sinnlose Prozessorlast zu Stande, die nicht verwendet wird.
Features wie One Click Indexing sollten deaktivierbar sein und nicht erzwungen ausgeführt werden.Meiner Erfahrung nach sind viele Systeme auf VM Servern, daher wirkt sich die hohe Prozessorlast meist auch auf andere Bereiche des Kunden aus.
Mir sind einige Kunden bekannt, die dieses Vorgehen nicht gutheißen.
Ich hoffe hier auf Änderung

Überspringen in der Ablage
Es wäre sinnvoll, wenn es die Möglichkeit gäbe, Dokumente bei der Ablage überspringen zu können. Wenn man viele Dokumente markiert und ablegt ist es immer sehr ärgerlich, wenn mittendrin ein Dokument noch nicht abgelegt werden soll (z. B. falsch eingescannt, schlechte Qualität, etc.). Man muss auf Abbrechen klicken und kommt zum Briefkorb zurück und muss wieder die restlichen Dokumente neu markieren und ablegen.
Man sollte neben Abbrechen und Zurüksetzen eine Schaltfläche mit "Überspringen" schaffen, sodass man die restlichen Dokumente weiter ablegen kann und das übersprungene Dokument im Briefkorb bleibt.

DocuWare Printer - Mehrfachdruck
Je nach Kundenanforderung ist es manchmal erforderlich beim Druck bestimmte Dokumente in mehrfacher Ausführung zu drucken.
Z.B. bei Rechnungen werden oft 2 Exemplare benötigt.
Es wäre schön wenn man in der Printerkonfiguration Anzahl der Exemplare beim Weiterdruck festlegen könnte.
Derzeit ist man auf Bastelllösungen angewiesen, die dazu oft instabil laufen.8 votesDies ist aktuell nicht geplant.

Ability to remove functions from right-click menu in web basket/document tray
I would like to be able to remove "Store Automatically" from certain users' web basket/tray when right-clicking on a document. Customer needs to have users change index entries when storing, and they don't want any way for the user not to change the entries.

Ability to change the query of a list
I have some lists (created by using "Save this search as list" from a result list) which I need to change from time to time, e.g. each half year.
The queries behind this lists are a bit complex and it is not failure save to create them new - I don't reminder them in detail.
Much better would be if I could get back to the search dialog, then I can change there what I want, and create a new list.

Automatisches Anpassen der Datentyp von externen Datenquellen in AUTOINDEX
Mit Active Import war es möglich bei der Indexerweiterung anhand externer Datenquellen (Datenbanken) die Feldzuweisungen auch vorzunehmen, wenn der Datentyp nicht identisch war. Das heisst, ein Datenbankfeld vom Typ Text konnte auch einem Datumsfeld in DocuWare zugewiesen werden, solange der Feldinhalt passt. Das „casten“ der Datentypen hat Active Import dabei selbst übernommen.
Mit AUTOINDEX ist das aktuell nicht möglich, weshalb im Vorfeld sichergestellt werden muss, dass die externen Daten mit demselben Datentyp vorliegen wie in DocuWare. Nur dann kann eine Feldzuweisung vorgenommen werden. Die aktuelle Lösung ist die Erstellung und Pflege einer speziellen Datenbank-View.

Die Trennung der Berechtigung "Verschmelzen" von "Bearbeiten",
das Ändern einer Worddatei ist eine komplett andere Sache als das Verschmelzen von Anmerkungen auf einer gescannten Rechnung. Wenn Beides in einem gemeinsamen Recht verwaltet wird ist das schädlich Der Verweis auf ein aktivierbares automatisches Versionsmanagement ist hier nicht ausreichend. Vielmehr sehen wir hier die Revisionssicherheit gefährdet.

Ich schlage vor, dass Connect to Outlook nicht nur auf persönliche Kontakte zugreifen kann sondern auch auf öffentliche Ordner
Bei Indexvervollständigen kann man zur Zeit nur auf Kontakte im persönlichen Kontakteverzeichnis zugreifen. Nutzt man jedoch Exchange und öffentliche Kontakteordner, ist eine Indexvervollständigung leider nicht automatisch möglich. Wäre aber hilfreich.

Predefine workflow job that converts DWTIFF (DW5.x and DW4.x) to a new PDF format
If you are dealing with very large documents that we were in DWTIFF format and now you want to bring back to the web basket it take extremely extremely long time to convert to a new PDF format. It works but it will be better if the conversion so done in the server side so that the clients don’t have to suffer
8 votesCurrently there are no plans to have an background job which converts tiff files to PDF. Main reason is, that this could take a long time and bring high load to the Server. On the other side we know that less than 1% of “old” documents are displayed after they are archived (on average).

Improve Administration Tool
Improve the administration tool. First by consolidating all of the different tools and utilities required to administrate Docuware. Create this new Administration tool to where you can do your administration in 1 spot and not in 3 spots on 1 utility and 1 spot on another. 1 location for 1 setting. Inhance the security setting, GROUP,ROLE,PROFILE. TOO MUCH.
