Passwortgeschützte PDFs im Viewer anzeigen
Beim Versuch ein Passwortgeschütztes PDF zu öffnen bekommt man aktuell nur die Meldung dass das Dokument verschlüsselt ist und ein Passwort gebraucht wird.
Meine Idee wäre. Wenn man versucht eine verschlüsselte PDF-Datei im Viewer anzuzeigen sollte man eine Passwortabfrage für die Datei bekommen.
aktuell müsste man die Datei in dem Originalformat herunterladen und dann öffnen.

Customize the CSV export from the DocuWare WebClient
It would be great if we the admins or even the users can customize the order and the fields that are displayed when they use the export to CSV file option in DocuWare.
As of right now it is showing all the fields that the user has access to. and the order is also not the same as the task list/result list the user is looking at.

Disable Annotations when viewing Documents in a Document Tray/Web Basket.
Annotations rights are only controlled at the File Cabinet Profile level. Some users would like to be able to the ability to use annotations on documents in a Document Tray/Web Basket.

Vorindexieren von mehreren Dokumenten gleichzeitig
Es sollte möglich sein, mehrere Dokumente aus dem Briefkorb gleichzeitig vor zu indexieren. Hat man z. B. viel Schriftverkehr zu einem Projekt, so könnte man vorab schon die Projektnummer, Belegart, den Namen usw. indexieren. Gleiches gilt für das Ablegen von E-Mails aus Outlook: Hier wäre es auch gut, wenn mehrere E-Mails vorindexiert in den Briefkorb abgelegt werden könnten.

Übersichtlichkeit bei den Aufgabenslisten
Die Möglichkeiten einer farblichen Darstellung ählich wie bei den alten Content Folders geht vielen Kunden bei den Aufgabenslisten ab. Es wäre toll, wenn hier eine Priorisierung oder farbliche Kodierung möglich wäre.

Stichwortfelder im Windows Explorer Client
Momentan können für die Baumansicht keine Stichwortfelder heran gezogen werden.
Dies wäre aber gerade im Zusammenhang mit Dokumenten, die mehreren Stichworten zugeordnet werden sehr praktisch.
Oft werden Stichwortfelder als "Dossier-" oder "Aktennummer" verwendet, z.B. eine Projektnummer, eine Kundennummer oder eine andere Art von Vorgangsnummer.
Muss ein Dokument, z.B. eine Rechnung, nun mehreren dieser Vorgangsnummern zugeordnet werden (z.B. Rechnung über verschiedene Projekte oder Kostenstellen) so muss dies über ein Stichwortfeld gelöst werden. Dadurch verliert man aber Stand heute die Möglichkeit den Windows Explorer Client für eine "Ordnerbasierte" Ablage zu verwenden.5 votes -
Add scripting for field values on Import and Smart Connect
Please add the ability to enhance extracted (OCR) data from documents during Import, Smart Connect and Printer. Having the ability to massage the data read (replace l with 1, z with 2, etc...) with vbscript or javascript would greatly enhance functionality.

Allow the ability to change the field order in multiple task lists in DocuWare Admin Online
Currently, you have to go through each individual task list and change the order of the fields one by one. It would be extremely time saving to be able to apply the field order changes to multiple task lists at the same time if they have the same fields.

Request Dateien (Zip) per DW Import autom. in ein Archiv importieren
es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn man z.B. Request Dateien (Zip.Dateien) einfach in ein von DW Import überwachtes Verzeichnis kopieren könnte. Diese Zip.Dateien würden dann in ein DW Archiv autom. abgelegt werden.

Print direct to printer
I would like to be able to print documents direct to a printer without having first to print them as a pdf.
Presently I need to print a document to pdf and then send it to the printer from my pdf viewer. Additionally, each document printed in this way leaves a window open in my pdf viewer, and these need to be closed manually rather than being closed once the instruction to print on a printer has been sent.
It also means that if I am viewing the document in DocuWare it is being loaded twice, once in DocuWare's own…

Scannen
Ich würde gerne direkt aus dem Breifkorb Scannen. Warum immer der umständliche Weg über das Desktop App?
Verschiedene Buttons mit den Scanprofilen im Menü belegen und direkt in den Briefkorb scannen. Einfach und Gut.
Der Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit tuts auch gut. Denn Schnell ist DW wirklich nicht mehr....3 votesIm Moment ist es nicht möglich einen Scanner direkt über einen Browser anzusprechen. Deshalb wird eine lokale Applikation benötigt, die den Scannertreiber ansprechen kann. Die lokale Applikation kann dadurch auch sofort eine Vorschau des gescannten Dokuments anzeigen. Der Browser könnte dies erst nach einem Upload.
Falls es zukünftig möglich sein sollte, direkt aus dem Browser zu scannen, werden wir diese Möglichkeit allerdings in Betracht ziehen. -
Mehr Vergleichsoperatoren im WF-Manager wie z.B. EMPTY() oder Fester Wert
Als Vergleichsoption vermisse ich im WF-Manager die Möglichkeit mit einem ungefülltem Wert oder einem festen Eintrag vergleichen zu können - beides geht über den Workaround vorher eine Globale WF-Variable zu definieren und diese mit dem zu vergleichendem Wert oder eben mit keinem Wert zu füllen, ist aber umständlich.

Archivnamen in der Ablagemaske ausblenden
Man sollte bei einer Ablagemaske entscheiden können, ob der Archivname vorne angezeigt wird oder nicht.
Dies ist einfach zu unübersichtlich und man weis nicht welche Ablagemaske das ist.(Featurewunsch eingetragen für Herrn Mayer - pmi Software u. Datenkommunikations Gmbh - 7337

In welchem von zwei Briefkörben bin ich?
Wenn ich zwei Briefkörbe geöffnet habe und natürlich in jedem ein Dokument geöffnet ist, dann weiß ich nicht, in welchem Briefkorb ich nun bin. Die Entf-Taste entfernt zwar dann das Dokument wo ich zuletzt war, aber es sollte angezeigt werden durch unterschiedliche Farben oder Nicht-Anzeigen der Markierung. Sonst sind Fehler vorprogrammiert. Noch dazu wo es auch keinen Papierkorb zum Wiederherstellen gibt.

Archiv-XML-Upgrade Tool
Es sollte möglich sein, eine Archiv-XML aus einer älteren DocuWare Version zu einer aktuellen Archiv-XML zu konvertieren. So müsste man nicht immer ein neues Archiv anlegen, wenn zum Beispiel zu Testzwecken ein Archiv aus einer älteren Version gebraucht wird.

Make Windows file meta information available
Access Windows meta information during indexing files in the Document Tray or in Import Configurations. Many files contain native data that can be valuable in the documents index, ex., for photos, timestamps, camera Id and etc. - this would be an advance equivalent to point and shoot for the operator and a huge enhancement to Import

Make the Import jobs collapsible to make a list.
When there are many import jobs setup, it would be nice if they showed more as a list that can then be expanded (the item selected) to see the details instead of having all the details available at first glance. A long list means a lot longer to scroll to get to where you want.

Indexierung mit Tastenkombination, sollte wie in den alten Versionen möglich sein
In früheren Docuwareversionen war es möglich die Indexfelder mit der Tastenkombination ALT und E automatisch zu füllen. Es war egal ob das erste abgelegte Dokument aus dem Benutzerbriefkorb oder über eine automatische Ablage (Tiffmaker...) im Archiv stand. Das geht jetzt nur noch mit Dokumenten die aus einem Briefkorb abgelegt wurden. Tastenkombination STRG ALT L Das erschwert unsere Ablagetätigkeit erheblich.
