A comments section when publishing a workflow would be useful for tracking changes made to each version.

Expiration date for DocuWare Forms
When creating a form, have an option to set an expiration date after which the form will be deleted and not appear anymore in the Forms list of the web client. This can be useful for time-sensitive campaigns, such as RSVP'ing to an event or entering a contest.

Enable multiselect or checkbox on search dialog dropdown menu
It would be usefull to have the option to select multiple values form a select list in search dialog.
Example:
- company has 10 Business Entities
- using only one search dialog we could enable management to search through specific group of entities (eg. 1, 2, 6, 8)Idea is to not have 10 different search dialogs locked on each BE.
Same could be applied to document type field, to filter just one or two, or 5 different types.
We already have 20+ store dialogs which limit store permissions for specific people based on entity and doc. type.

Indexwerte in Stempellayout integrieren
Wir lassen in einem automatischen Lauf die Eingangsrechnungen mit einem Stempel versehen, wenn sie bezahlt sind. Das Zahlungsdatum ist in einem Indexwert abgelegt. Praktisch wäre, dieses Datum mit in das Stempellayout zu integrieren.

Indexfelder Arithmetischer Ausdruck bzw. rechnende Indexfelder
In Indexfeldern arithmetische Ausdrücke ermöglichen bzw. die Möglichkeit schaffen, dass Indexfelder rechnen können. Diese Funktion sollte auch in Verbindung mit mehreren Indexfeldern funktionieren.
Wir haben bei Kunden den Fall, dass bei Rechnungen bestimmte Beträge vom Rechnungsbetrag abgezogen werden und der Zahlbetrag sich dadurch vom Rechnungsbetrag unterscheidet. Der Rechnungsbetrag kann per One Click Indexing oder Intelligent Indexing vom Dokument übernommen werden, die Abzüge und der Zahlbetrag sind aber nicht auf dem Dokument zu finden und werden manuell in die jeweiligen Indexfelder eingetragen. Bisher müssen die Anwender diesen Schritt manuell außerhalb von DocuWare durchführen. Auch über den Workflow Designer ist ein Workaround…

Desktop App Scannen mit dauerhaften Dialogfenster
Beim Scannen stört, wenn man die Einstellungen beim Scannen zwischenzeitlich wechseln muss und dafür jedes Mal den Scanvorgang abbrechen, dann auf "Seiten hinzufügen" klicken muss und damit den Scanvorgang neu zu starten. Dann mache ich meine Scananpassungen, scanne und muss das Spiel wiederholen, um zu meinen Standardscaneisntellungen zurück zu kehren.
Beispiel: Wir scannen einen Stapel Din A4 ein. 400 Seiten.
Nun liegt eine Seite im DIN A3 Format dazwischen. Dafür muss ich dann an entsprechender Stelle den Scanvorgang abbrechen, Seiten hinzufügen klicken, mit veränderter Scaneinstellung scannen, wieder abrechen und dann das Spiel wieder von vorne mit Standard Einstellung. Muss das…1 vote -
Scannen mit Vorschaufenster
Was wir beim Scannen vermissen, ist ein Fenster mit den aktuell eingescannten Seiten zu sehen. So wie früher.
Die kleine Anzeige ist nicht wirklich hilfreich.
Dann kann man direkt sehen, ob die Qualität beim Scannen stimmt. So kann man nur im Nachgang reagieren.1 vote -
Ergebnisliste mehr als 100 Treffer pro Seite
Hallo
Ich kontrolliere häufiger in unseren Großarchiven.
Jedes Mal stosse ich auf die Begrenzung von hundert Treffer pro Seite. Finde ich äußerst unpraktisch.
Ist es angedacht, die Ergebnisliste zu vergrössern?
Z. B. auf 1000 Treffer oder mehr pro Seite.4 votes -

Support von Multi-Faktor Authentifikation
Für Sicherheitsbewusste On-Premise Installationen ist eine offline 2FA/MFA wünschenswert. Die momentan angebotene Möglichkeit über die Azure Cloud ist für diese Art von Setups aus Compliance Gründen nicht umsetzbar. Wünschenswerte Lösungen wären:
- Security Tokens: YubiKey, RSA Token
- Mobile Authentication: OTP/G-Auth, SMS
- Digitale Zertifikate/Signaturen
- SSO/IAM Integration (z.B. in KeyCloak)

Multi-stage forms
I think it would be helpful if one party could pre-fill part of a form, then another person could finish filling out the form (i.e. office could fill out customer info, then technician onsite could fill in details and submit form).

Allow for the ability to select the result dialog for each docuware workflow.
It would be nice to be able to select a specific result dialog for each workflow instead of always being forced to use the default workflow. This becomes challenging when the workflow are from completely different processes.

Run the DocuWare ADSync.exe on 2 different domains from the same server
In 7.5 on-premise system; we have a multidomain environment (1 forest) and would like to setup the DocuWare.ADSync.exe to run against 6 domains. We cannot setup a new system/server per domain to perform a user sync as suggested in article KBA-36454. We noticed that the user sync config is contained in "C:\ProgramData\DocuWare\ADSync\ADSyncConfiguration.xml". Is there any way to create multiple config files and have DocuWare.ADSync.exe run them independently? Ultimately, the customer was able to run the user sync on 2 different domains from the same server, only difference is that the config file was created with a user account from each…

Provide a search function within the partner portal to locate subscribers for which we are the DocuWare partner of record / direct support.

Zugriff auf die dw System Datenbank bei Cloud Systemen
Auch bei Cloud Systemen eine Zugriff auf die dw Systems Datenbank ermöglichen. So wie es bei On-Premise bereits möglich ist.
Aktuell ist bei Cloud Systemen hier kein Zugriff möglich. Als Workaround muss entweder ein Hilfsarchiv angelegt werden, was jedoch eine redundante Datenhaltung erfordert oder es muss selbst ein passender Webservice entwickelt werden.

Werkzeuge nicht verfügbar / ausgegraut - Hinweis auf Ursache
Als Anwender, möchte ich schnell verstehen können, warum ich ein Dokument nicht mit Anmerkungen versehen kann.
Wenn man z. B. nicht weiß, dass Anmerkungen nicht verfügbar sind, sobald ein Dokument signiert wurde, kann das verwirrend sein.Das Beispielbild dient nur zur Verdeutlichung der Idee.
Der Text im Tooltip weist darauf hin, was man mit dem Werkzeug machen könnte. Da man das Werkzeug nicht verwenden kann, könnte der Hinweis (od. Begründung) auch an dieser Stelle gesetzt werden.3 votes -
User synchronization account must be Organization Administrator
The account used in user synchronization must be Organization Administrator in order to automatically assign licenses to the created users.
It is not desirable to make a service account, whose password is stored in a decryptable way, always organization administrator.

Processing Profiles - Split into Multiple Documents - Each with own set of indexing values and read out areas
Transferring from other DMS's - Users normally scanned a pack of documents as a single pdf, it would be useful if we can put this through a processing profile to 'Identify','split',Index each document
In example Employee onboarding pack
(may contain a ID document, Bank Account confirmation letter, Employment contract, etc.)You would create sub profiles (or main profiles, then link to this profile) for each expected document, those not identified will have default indexes using the original input files' indexes, those that are defined is split / indexed and stored as per the sub profile.

Date Field Search Dialog - Predefined Entry using Calculated Value i.e. SQL DATEADD(Month,-1,GETDATE())
We have a large number of documents (some filecabinets > 15m documents) We would like to add variable predefined entry in the search dialog to Prevent users from doing open ended searches on large datasets. currently it only seems to support a static min date and max date.

Highlight Search Poor Performance
The new highlight search is a great new feature. However in its current implementation the performance is poor compared to a search dialog search on an exact string match.
For example.
A string search on our database for a customer reference in a regular search dialog takes around 0.3 seconds. A search using the new highlight search took 20 seconds!
I believe the issue is that the search type used in the new highlight search feature is using a LIKE query which in turn is also passed to the SQL database as a LIKE query also, making the database search…
