Intelligent indexing and colour blindness
14% of the Spanish population suffers from colour blindness (about 3.7 million Spaniards according to other sources, and an estimated 8% of the world's population).
This is no small number. By extrapolation, 14% of Spanish Docuware users live with this problem. It would not be unreasonable to think that a customisation of colours would benefit and please many Docuware users.
That is why we propose an improvement: From 'Profile and Settings' the user can customise the red, yellow and green colours that are presented in the current interface.

Edit web form during multiple steps of a workflow before submitting to a merge form
For example on an Employee Injury Report form it would be nice for the employee to fill the top half of the form and then submit it to step 2 where a manager finishes filling out the form by utilizing the form itself and not a task dialog (no signature box is available in a task dialog). Then the form is submitted to a merge form which formats all the data into a pdf.
Currently you cant sign a form in multiple steps like this without using a stamp. This makes the workflow look very rudimentary.

Add an "approved" stamp icon on the Windows title bar. It would save about six mouse clicks.
By adding an icon on the title bar to approve a doc, it would save six mouse clicks, or hundreds per day.

Custom Logo bei On-Premises & Cloud in der Konfiguration anpassen
Es wäre einfacher und besser, wenn man das Custom Logo in der Konfiguration anpassen bzw. hochladen könnte und dieses dann bei einem DocuWare-Update erhalten bleibt.
Des Weiteren wäre es gut, dass dies auch bei den Cloud-Produkten funktionieren würde.25 votes -
change the order of fields in the list view when you put you mouse over the table field.
if you have a list with a table field . you can then put you mouse over the field and see the first lines of the table field..
But the order of the fields seems to be the order that the fields where created in .. it would be great also to change this order..1 vote -
When using prefill in a table field in workflow..
if there are default values set on fields in the table field in a workflow.
Then if you prefill and ypu have specified not to refill that specific field.
then the default values are not put into the field.. its just empty..1 vote -

Semantische Suche bzw Thesaurus Funktionen sind für anspruchsvollere Umgebungen wichtig, bspw. sollte „flavor“ und „flavour“ mit einem der beiden Begriffe gefunden werden.

Prevent import of documents with expired digital certificates
Applying digital certificates to imported documents is possible (also when scanning). If a certificate is expired there is a warning but the documents are imported to a tray anyway. It would be preferable to prevent those documents from being imported at all. Note: other posts request more functionality from the import module. this could be tied to those requests.

Allow import job-only trays (no drag and drop, no individual importing by users)
A client in biomedical manufacturing wants to require that new documents be imported to a tray exclusively by an import process on a server so that they can be sure that no other documents are captured. Users would not be able to import or scan into the tray.

Beim konfigurieren von Autoindex und Webhook Start Events mit Stichwortfeldern auch der Operator "Has Changed" zur Verfügung steht
Beim konfigurieren von Autoindex (sowie auch Webhook) Start Events kann man aktuell bei Textfeldern den Operator "Has Changed" auswählen. Bei Stichwortfeldern ist das aktuell nicht möglich. Es wäre aber schön, wenn man das Event starten könnte, wenn sich in einem Stichwortfeld etwas ändert (also bspw. Stichwörter wegfallen oder hinzukommen).

Clean Wipe Tool
Be great to have a clean wipe tool to help with upgrade/reinstallation problems due to corrupted installs on client machines. This can often be very time consuming when problems arise and be great to have a tool to fully do a clean uninstall of the Desktop Apps (remove all file locations and registry items).

Herunderladen von Dokumenten: Nicht in Unterverzeichnisse speichern (Auswahlmöglichkeit)
Beim Herunterladen von Dokumenten werden in den ZIP Dateien je Dokument ein Unterverzeichnis angelegt. Es wäre super, wenn alle Dateien in ein Verzeichnis angelegt werden, um diese weiterzuverarbeiten.
Wenn die Dateien z.B. an einen Steuerberater übertragen werden sollen müssen diese aus den Unterverzeichnissen herauskopiert werden, um weiterverarbeitet zu werden.10 votes -
Workflow Designer: Variablen Aktivitätenfinder
Eine aus der Liste ausgewählte Variable zeigt ja in einer Tabelle an, wo diese Variable verwendet wird. Klasse wäre, wenn man auf genau so eine Aktivität klicken könnte und man entweder dorthin kommt oder aber diese Aktivität zumindest irgendwie hervorgehoben wird.

Workflow Designer: Abgeschnittene Texte bei Mouseover komplett anzeigen
Längere Variablen- und Aktivitätennamen und auch Label an Verbindungen werden abgeschnitten dargestellt. Ein Mouseover Text mit dem vollständigen Namen wäre schon ausreichen. Top wäre, wenn man den linken Bereich und auch die Aktivitäten im Workflow manuell vergößern/verkleinern könnte.

FileCabinet: Read Only statt "Locked"
Wenn ein File Cabinet zur Bearbeitung geöffnet wird, sollte es für alle anderen weiterhin als Read Only zur Verfügung stehen.
Das File Cabinet komplett zu sperren ist kontraproduktiv, wenn man nur schnell etwas nachgucken möchte.1 vote -
Workflow Designer: Auschecken von Workflows / Sperren der Bearbeitung
Um zu verhindern, dass man sich bei der Bearbeitung eines Workflows in die Quere kommt, wäre es sinnvoll einen Workflow auschecken zu können. Für andere User sollte der Workflow dann weiterhin als Read Only zur Verfügung stehen.

Workflow Designer: Kommentare bei Veröffentlichung
Ich vermisse die Möglichkeit einen Kommentar bei der Veröffentlichung oder auch schon Speicherung zu hinterlegen. Das würde das Navigieren in den vorherigen Versionen erheblich erleichtern.

Feldmaske erlaubt keine Korrektur eines dch one click indexing im Feld eingestellten Wert
Für ein Indexfeld ist eine Feldmaske definiert/aktiviert. Feldwert soll durch one click indexing gesetzt werden.
Passt der vom Dokument ausgelesene Wert nicht mit der Maske zusammen, muss eine komplette händische Eingabe des Wertes vorgenommen werden.
Wünschenswert wäre, den durch one click indexing eingestellten Wert direkt editieren und damit korrigieren zu können.2 votes -
Locking an open document in the Document Tray
Our customer often work on shared document tray to which a many people have access to.
Unfortunately very common happened that the same document is opened in Document Tray by two or more persons and they try to store it in Docuware.
The one who is faster will store it and the other one will receive an error message that such document does not exist anymore.So we ask to add functionality of locking an access to the document in Document Tray if someone opens such a document in Document Tray.
