Better Silent Install Options on System Upgrade - Creates a Bind Now
System upgrades present a pretty big challenge for enterprises with a large number of DocuWare Desktop Apps users. The upgrade package is not available until the system has been upgraded and that leaves about zero time for their technical teams to arrange for the upgrade via silent install. This is a real cause of trouble for these customers. We need a better way to handle the system upgrade/desktop apps situation for system upgrades.

Workflow Designer - Add a Workflow Fields tab to emails/Conditions
I think it would be beneficial to allow information from a Workflow Field from a Task to be copied to an email/condition. I'm trying to write an automatic email based on either a "Yes" or a "No" from some Workflow Fields. Only fields marked "Yes" will be included on the email. Currently I have to copy the Workflow Fields to GVs and then create additional GVs for each of them each with a fixed entry of "Yes". Then make a condition that checks if the original GV matches the other GV. If it does, then it will be placed on…

read existing values from merge form fields in workflow.
In a workflow you can fill in an area of a merge form. It would be nice if you could read the current content of the merge form field and use that as a variable. For example we have fields that might need to be slightly edited. It would be nice to prepopulate the field with the existing data so that it could be appended. Yes this can be done by highlighting the text but it might be nice to automatically use that as a variable or to append an index field.

Make submitted DocuWare forms scrollable
One of the things I like least about DocuWare forms is that submitted forms are often multiple pages long. I will usually use form overlays to make them look nicer, but when that's not an option, it would be nice if the resulting multipage document would scroll in that window rather than having to click the next page icon.

Kompatibilität DocuWare Request mit Windows 10 ohne Nachinstallation .NET Framework
DocuWare Request sollte auch auf den neusten Betriebssystemen, in diesem Falle Windows 10, ohne Nachinstallation von Anwendungen (.NET Framework) funktionieren. Die Fehlermeldung führt zu Rückfragen und ist für Laien unverständlich.

Tabellenfeld per Shortcut/Tastenkombination abschließen
Das Tabellenfeld z.B. bei einer Splitbuchungserfassung sollte sich per Tastenkombination beenden lassen. Momentan muss zeitraubend die Maus genommen werden und "Bestätigen" geklickt werden.
Mit TAB wird nur eine neue Zeile in die Tabelle eingefügt (da vorausfüllen mit Bruttobetrag eingestellt ist) welche in diesem Fall auch wieder manuell gelöscht werden muss.

Formatierbare Textfelder / DW E-Mails - HTML Text
Wünschenswert ist ein neues Daten-Typ - "Complex Text" um Textfelder zur Verfügung zu stellen, die formatiert werden können.
z.b Text von Begründungen und Kommentare könnten formatiert werden, um besonders auffällig zu sein
Diese könnte man auch in den ausgehenden E-Mail verwenden. So könnte man die E-Mails im corporate design mit Farbe, Schrift und Logo versehen.

Connect to Outlook - Barcodes auslesen - Dokumentenverarbeitung
eine Möglichkeit, um bei einer über Outlook Abgelegten E-Mail den E-Mail Anhang auch nach Barcodes zu durchsuchen.
Hintergrund ist hier ein unterschriebener Tätigkeitsbericht, der vom Kunden zurückkommt. Könnte hier jetzt aus der angehangenen eingescannten PDF der Barcode ausgelesen werden, könnte diese E-Mail direkt indexiert werden.
Diese Möglichkeit besteht momentan nur über die Dokumentenverarbeitung, wenn der Tätigkeitsbericht z. B. in einen Ordner abgelegt wird, an dieser Stelle würde ich aber auch gerne die E-Mail dazu abgelegt haben.

Feld als Name für Ergebnis einer Dokumentverknüpfung
Es wäre gut, wenn man in der Konfiguration einer Dokumentverknüpfung ein Feld benennen könnte, mit dem
die Ergebnisliste der verknüpften Dokumenten benannt werden soll.Wenn man z.B. eine Verknüpfung über die Auftragsnummer konfiguriert und mehrere Dokumentverknüpfungen öffnet, haben alle Tabs den selben Namen, nämlich den der Verknüpfung. Besser wäre es, wenn die Tabs mit der jeweiligen Auftragsnummer bezeichnet wären.

Email an ADMIN wenn Dokument von der Desktop APP nicht identifiziert werden kann
Hallo.
Bei uns werden durch die Desktop Apps täglich viele Dokumente von verschiedenen Servern hochgeladen. Gelegentlich kommt es vor das Dokumente nicht identifiziert werden können. Diese Dokumente landen dann im Admin Briefkorb. Es wäre schön wenn der Admin in diesem Moment dirket eine Email erhalten könnte.3 votes -

Ability to assign more than one Behavior per field in form designer
currently only one behavior is allowed to be assigned per field. The ability to assign multiple behaviors would allow a greater number of options for configuration.

Anmerkungsebenen verschmelzen in den Berechtigungen ausschließen
In den Archivberechtigungen lassen sich Rechte für die Anmerkungen vergeben. Mir fehlt jedoch die Möglichkeit dort das Verschmelzen der Anmerkungsebenen auszuschließen.
Speziell, wenn im Workflow ein beschreibbares Webformular existiert, macht ein versehentliches verschmelzen eine Weiterbarbeitung durch den Workflow unmöglich.3 votes -
freeze columns in table field
I have a table field that has a column for every day of the month that keeps track of therapists sessions with clients. A workflow assigns them a task and at the end of each session they put the time in for that client for that day. The issue is that by the middle of the month they have to scroll over and the client name is off the page. It would be nice if they could keep the column on the far left and still scroll over to the columns on the right like a spreadsheet.

Lizenztyp Concurrent / Named konfigurierbar per User / LDAP-Sync
DocuWare Named Lizenzen können in der DocuWare Administration in Concurrent Lizenzen umgewandelt werden. Betreibt man ein System im gemischten Modus, d. h. einige Concurrent-Lizenzen, einige Named-Lizenzen, ist es allerdings immer so, dass neu angelegten Benutzern automatisch eine Named-Lizenz zugeordnet wird solange solche "frei" sind. Dies ist administrativ betrachtet sehr zeitraubend und fehleranfällig, da immer wieder geprüft werden muss, welche Lizenzen noch frei sind. Es sollte die Möglichkeit bestehen, den Lizenztyp bei der Erstellung eines Users auswählen zu können, dies sowohl bei der manuellen Erstellung wie auch bei Erstellung über LDAP Sync auf Konfigurationsebene.

We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status. -
Dokumente umbenennen
Es wäre schön wenn man den "Dateinamen" (also den Namen der z.B. in der Ordnerstruktur ganz zuletzt angezeigt wird bzw. der Name der unten im Viewer angezeigt wird) auch noch in der Ablage ändern könnte. Sofern man vergisst z.B. das PDF umzubenennen (oder über den DocuWare Printer druckt, hier kann man den Namen gar nicht selbst benennen) ist der Name sehr kryptisch, z.B. "SKM227200812121300009"). Wenn man z.B. über Request die Daten für eine Zertifizierung zusammen stellt steht dieses "SKM227200812121300009" anstatt z.B. "Unterlagen für die Zertifizierung"

ValidateID Signature - Collect Reason for Signature Rejection
Currently although the reason for refusal is requested when not signing a document, then this value is not available for use anywhere. ValidateID does have this option available (Signers.RejectionReason from "Operation Get Document Information"). It would be very useful to implement the option to collect this information as otherwise you have to go and ask the person who has refused to sign the document to find out the reason for the rejection.
