The “Validation” tab in DocuWare v7.14 should be hidden by default unless it is configured.
Background:
- The “Validation” tab is currently displayed in the user interface without prior announcement or feature explanation, which may cause some confusion for users.
- In DocuWare, elements such as “Lists” and “Folders” are typically not shown in the user interface unless they are configured.
- However, the “Validation” tab appears to be visible even when it is not configured, which feels different from the behavior users are familiar with.
- In addition, DocuWare IDP is not currently available in the Japanese market, so having a non-usable feature constantly visible may lead to misunderstandings or unnecessary inquiries.Request:

MAPI - Enable multi-windowing when sharing documents by email from DocuWare WebApp
Dear all,
Currently, the window opened by DocuWare when sharing documents by email blocks all use of Outlook, which is extremely frustrating and restrictive for our customers.
According to the documentation in the link below, MAPI allows you to activate or deactivate this modal usage mode. This is what Microsoft describes in the note below, using available constants such as ‘DIALOG_MODAL’.

Workflow-Lizenz: Anmerkungen und Stempel im Workflow
Mit einer Workflow-Lizenz ist es derzeit nicht möglich, Anmerkungen oder Stempel im Workflow anzubringen. Diese Einschränkung führt bei vielen Kunden zu Unmut und erschwert die effiziente Verarbeitung von Dokumenten im Workflow. Besonders bei Rechnungen, bei denen zahlreiche einzelne Positionen gekennzeichnet werden müssen, reicht ein Bemerkungsfeld innerhalb der Indexfelder nicht aus.

Anhänge an E-Rechnungen
Derzeit können Anhänge an einer E-Rechnung weder erkannt noch abgespeichert werden, ohne dafür in die Struktur des Dokuments zu gehen. Es sollte möglich sein, dass DW auch bestehende Anhänge erkennt und abspeichert.

Es sollte möglich sein im Volltext auch eine Synonymsuche zu ermöglichen
Es ist Ausschreibungsrelevant und die Lösung wird immer häufiger gefordert. Beispiel: mit der Volltextsuche nach KFZ sollen auch Dok. gefunden werden in denen Wörter wie Auto, Automobil, Fahrzeug etc. stehen. Die Synonymlisten sollen administrativ erweiterbar sein. Vielen Dank

DocuWare Formulare - Erweiterung Berechnungen / Funktionen
DocuWare Formulare sollten die folgenden Möglichkeiten unterstützen:
- Berechnungen: Wertkombinationen aus einzelnen Textfeldern (Stringverkettung)
- Berechnungen Textfeld2 = Textfeld1, wenn Textfeld1 gefüllt
- Berechnungen: Checkbox Eintrag auf Grundlage Kombination von Feldern auf aktiv setzen
- Berechnungen: Berechnungen mit Datumsfeldern
- Validierungen: Referenzen auf andere Felder / Feldkombinationen
- Allgemein eine Möglichkeit bieten Links einzufügen (dynamisch/statisch/Kombination)Beschriftungs ID wäre vorteilhaft, wenn immer gleich im Designer mit angezeigt würde zum Bearbeiten, da man auf der Zuordnung bei der Vorlage sonst erst feststellt, das es Text1-99 gibt und man vor der Qual der Wahl steht...
Stringverkettung von oben, z.B. für Name, Vorname Kombinationen…

allow landscape webforms
Currently, when web forms are created the output has 2 options A4 and Letter. When we submit PO requests we use a table field that would be a lot easier to read if we could at least print in landscape. It would also help if we could change the width of the columns in table fields but with table fields, landscape would be a nice option.

Workflow tasks migration
When a change is made on a workflow, a new version is created. A lot of documents are in an older version. It could be nice to migrate those tasks into the new workflow version.

Dokument in Briefkörben sperren, wenn eine Person dieses bearbeitet
Mein Kunde hat 20 Personen in der Buchhaltung, die jeden Tag ca. 500 Rechnungen ablegen. Das Problem ist, wenn jemand ein Dokumente abliegt, dann sehen das die anderen Personen nicht und versuchen dasselbe Dokument abzulegen.
Es wäre schön, wenn es eine Funktion, ähnlich wie in den Ergebnislisten geben würde, die besagt, wenn das Dokument von einer Person in Bearbeitung ist, ist dieses Dokument für die anderen User gesperrt. Eine farliche Markierung oder ähmliches wäre auch prima.

Provide a way to store table values from eforms and/or workflow on to merge forms
Enable a method to store table data from eforms or from within a table field in workflow onto merge forms. Does not seem like its currently possible even in workflow according to communication I had with support. Sounds like keyword fields could be used but duplicate values are not supported and tracking the colums/relationships might be difficult.

Add selectlist sorting
Add selectlist sorting (in store/edit dialogs} so we are able to sort items in a select list from A-Z or Z-A or from old to new.

Include Behaviour option for table field in forms
We find the table field very useful in version 7.9 it would be nice if we have behaviour options for table field in forms. Like based on the previous field the table field appears.

Stempel Hintergrund
Hallo, es wäre nicht schlecht, das man beim Stempel eine Hintergrund aktivieren könnte, ähnlich wie das Ausblenden. Oft ist der Stempel auf Text und dann kann man den Stempel nur schwer lesen.

Tabellenfelder als Stempel
Tabellenfelder sollten innerhalb einer Workflow-Aufgabe als Stempel darstellbar sein. So können die Buchungsinformationen die eingetragen werden (gerade bei einer Splitbuchung) auch visuell auf dem Dokument dargestellt werden.

Scrollen im Client-Viewer
es ist weiterhin nicht möglich, im Viewer durch die Dokumente zu scrollen, auch wenn das eine große Herausforderung darstellt. Das macht es schwer auf einem Webclient schnell von Seite zu kommen. Die Maus ist dabei eher ein Hindernis, wenn man schon mit "Touch-Technologie" arbeiten kann (Notebooks) um schnell auf eine bestimmte Seite vor/zurück zu kommen. Mobile sollte "als Vorbild dienen"...

Within Specify Text, be able to Split AND Retain the Charactor
Within Document Processing, where text may be captured, there is a control called SPECIFY TEXT, which includes "AFTER KNOWN CHARACTER(S)". We need to keep those known charactors. Can you add "AFTER KNOWN CHARACTERS AND RETAIN THEM". For example we need to split the following at the T and keep the T too. <VARIABLE DATA IN LENGTH>T<VARIABLE DATA IN LENGTH> will result in "T<VARIABLE DATA IN LENGTH>"

beim Ablegen eines Dokuments automatischens Befüllen der Indexfelder, sofern nur noch ein Eintrag aus Auswahlliste übrig bleibt
Seit der Version 7.6 werden Felder Web-Formulare automatisch befüllt, sofern nur noch ein Eintrag aus einer Auswahlliste übrig bleibt. Das beschleunigt das Ausfüllen der Formulare enorm. Vielen Dank hierfür.
Nun wäre es klasse, wenn dies auch bei der klasschinen Ablage im Web-Client möglich wäre.

Checkboxen & Radiobuttons in Workflowaufgabe
Im Web-Formular gibt es die praktischen Checkboxen und Radiobuttons.
Die Abarbeitung von Dokumenten könnte in einer Workflowaufgabe wesentlich beschleunigt werden, sofern dort ebenfalls Checkboxen & Radiobuttos eingebettet werden können (siehe Musterbild)8 votes -
URL Integration - Sortierung der Ergebnisliste direkt mitgeben
Wenn man eine URL Integration auf verschiedene Ergebnislisten erstellt, sollte es möglich sein, die Sortierung (auf- und absteigegend) anhand von einem DocuWare Feld direkt in der URL Integration mit einem Parameter mitzugeben.
