create automatic incremental number that is always consecutive
It is possible to create a auto increment field in DocuWare, however when you cancel the form before storing the document it will increment the number already. Please make it possible to create a metadata field with 100% consecutive numbering

Backward Compatibility
If you support multiple DW environments, you're bound to get caught in between versions of Cloud. Half your customers on the older version, half on the newer version, and whichever one you're working on will inevitably be the wrong version of Desktop Apps. Wouldn't it be great if the latest version was backward compatible? I think so.

Hilfefunktion mit Custom Link
Ich würde gerne unseren Kunden die Möglichkeit geben, entweder Hilfetexte bspw. bei der Ablage im Web Client anzubieten, oder zumindest die Möglichkeit einen Link einzubinden, über den sich ein User für seltene Ablagevorgänge Hilfen einblenden kann.
Die vorkonfigurierten Lösungen nutzen neuerdings hierzu vorausgefüllte Bemerkungsfelder, die schreibgeschützt Informationen liefern. Das funktioniert, ist aber in meinen Augen etwas unelegant, da diese Felder mitindexiert werden.

Originalansicht im Viewer ermöglichen
Wir laden auch mehrseitige Exceldateien hoch und aktuell werden diese immer zu einer A4-PDF-Seite zugeschnitten.
Es wäre sinnvoll wenn es einen Button in der Werkzeug-Liste gibt welcher den View für die Originalansicht ermöglicht, d.h. ein mehrseitiges Excel wird als eine Seite dargestellt.4 votes -
Allow folders and lists to be based on the same setup as normal searches
Please can you allow folders and lists to be controlled in the same way as normal searches - for example being able to remove the ability to edit without checking a document out first (currently, you have to remember to check it out and back in again when you upload a document to stop this) or allow the search to exclude files based on a field value such as retired documents.

Anzeigen welchem Anwender Workflow Aufgaben zugewiesen sind, auch ohne WF Controller
Es sollte für alle Anwender möglich sein in der Aufgabenliste zu sehen welchem Anwender Workflow Aufgaben zugewiesen sind. Diese Funktion ist bisher nur mit dem Workflow Controller möglich, aber nicht jeder Anwender soll über die Rechte des Workflow Controllers verfügen. So können die Anwender bei Krankheit oder Urlaub sofort sehen welche Aufgaben liegen bleiben. Dies ist bei großen Abteilungen mit verschachtelten Vertretungsregelungen sehr sinnvoll.

I suggest you add ability to store .zip files! we have need to store zip files supplied by our clients. it takes alot of time to extract the files and then have to send up to docuware. outlook to docuware should allow zip file storage sent thats an attachment in an email. it only sends up a list that whats inside the zip file.

Anker als Suchstart für Regex
Hallo,
sobald Benutzer eine unterschiedliche Bildschirmauflösung oder Zoom verwenden, funktionieren bestehende Anker nicht mehr. Viele dieser Fälle könnte man umgehen, wenn man Anker als Startposition für eine Regex Suche setzen kann. Beispiel : Anker auf Text "ID Nummer" und ausgelesen werden soll die erste 5 stellige Nummer, die nach dem Anker gefunden wurde. Unabhängig von der Entfernung zum Anker.7 votes -
DATABASE LOOKUP
This issue has been posted a lot of different ways but nothing has happened with it. I know Docuware has come up with their version of autoindexing and don't seem to understand why so many other softwares have standardize how it is done. You create a odbc connection and assign it to a data entry textbox. When someone keys a value and hits enter, it will populate all the other fields. This is the way it has always been done. This version runs after the fact which doesn't let the person indexing compare the results to the image they are…

Aktuelle DocuWare Version in der Konfiguration anzeigen lassen
Da man nicht bei jedem Kunden eine (freie) Lizenz für den Admin hat, wäre es hilfreich, dass man "Über DocuWare" bzw. die DocuWare Version auch in der Konfiguration anzeigen lassen könnte.

Enable viewer to show several pages at once
We have a lot of invoices with 2 or 3 pages. It would therefore be a great time saver if the viewer window would display all 2 or 3 pages at once. After all, there is more than enough grey space for that even if the first page is being displayed in full hight.

Provide different sort settings for keyword fields
It seems to be the case, that if an MSSQL Database (DocuWare Cloud) is used, keyword field entries are automatically sorted in an alphabetical order after applying changes to them.
This is not the case for MySQL Databases. Sometimes the order/sorting of the entered values are important for the customer or special use cases. It would be very nice to have possibilites to select how or if the entered values should be sort/ordered.6 votes -
Betreff mit Umlauten aus Docuware Workflow E-Mails werden nicht richtig angezeigt
Sobald eine E-Mail mit dem Dokument als Anhang aus dem Workflow-Manager verschickt wird, werden die Umlaute nicht richtig angezeigt. (siehe Screenshots)

Kontierungsstempel
Nachdem die Buchhaltung eine Rechnung kontiert hat, sollten die Angaben der Kontierung in einem Stempel auf dem Dokument erscheinen. Am besten als Tabelle (Buchhalterische Kontierstempel).

Links aus E-Mailbenachrichtigungen sollen in ein DocuWare mit Menü führen
Aktuell ist in der Version 7.4, sowohl Cloud als auch OnPremise, bei Erhalt einer E-Mail-Benachrichtigung über zu erledigende Aufgaben nur die eine Aufgabe in DW mit dem Entscheidungsbaum sichtbar ohne DW-Menü. Wenn aber mehrere Aufgaben zu erledigen sind, muss der Kunde sich entweder in DW einloggen oder er muss für jede einzelne Aufgabe in der jeweiligen E-Mail auf den Link klicken. Das ist sehr unkomfortabel und es sollte in jedem Fall die Möglichkeit geben - wie in den Vorversionen - in ein DW mit Menü weitergeleitet zu werden.

Workflow Section Comments
It would be nice to have a comment tool in Workflow where you could draw colored boxes around groups of activity blocks and add tool tips to the blocks that describes what that section of the workflow is doing.

An option, where we can change the tab title in the browser to a chosen field
When multiple tabs are open in the browser, it only shows "DocuWare". It would be nice to see the title of the open document or maybe to choose what field should be displayed in the tab title.

Notification Time Frame Based on Curent Date
I can create a list with the logic to show documents that are on or before a certain number of days out. It would be nice to be able to create a notification using the same logic. I can create a notification with a specific date, but I want to create the notification based on a time frame before or after the current date.

Beim Versenden per Mail, Adresse und Betreffzeile in Outlook übernehmen
Möchte man ein Dokument per Mail versenden, öffnet sich Outlook und das Dokument ist angehangen.
Leider muss immer die E-Mailadresse manuell eingegeben werden. Auch der Betreff wird aus keinem Feld übernommen.
Bestehenden Signaturen müssen auch nachträglich eingefügt werden.
Generell wäre es schön, wenn der Versandt per Mail individueller möglich wäre. (eigener smtp Server pro Nutzer)Vielen Dank
