1. Add the ability to restore deleted Workflow Tasks

   Without knowing we stopped workflows for employees that are no longer here. Tired of getting emails that wont deliver. We didnt realize this would stop the flow for all users. It would be nice if when a workflow is stopped that it is moved to the recycle bin where we can restore

2. Dokumentenverarbeitung - Metadaten-Format XML unterstützen

   Viele ERP-Hersteller können zu den PDF-Ausgangsbelegen im Standard eine XML in einem Verzeichnis abstellen, jedoch keine DWCONTROL.
   Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn DocuWare XML-Dateien bei der Dokumenten- bzw. Metadatenverarbeitung unterstützen würde.

4. Require entries in table field on forms

   I would like the ability to require at least one row be completed in a table field on the form.
   I would also like the ability to require certain columns in the table field to be required for each row of the table.

6. Admin - Reporting

   For a scalable product, it is time to provide more details on usage in the form of a report or KPI on a dashboard. We need a breakdown of how each cabinet is being used, not just the overall account. We cannot perform chargebacks to departments who use different cabinets proportionally to our overall account storage consumption.

8. Papierkorb Einstellungen/Zeitraum anpassen

   Laut Kundenanfragen wären generell mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten für den Papierkorb wünschenswert. Es sollte zumindest in OnPrem Systemen möglich sein, den Zeitraum des Papierkorbs zu verändern und nicht immer 30 Tage zu haben. Im Optimalfall sogar abhängig davon einzustellen, wo das Dokument gelöscht wurde, z.B. Briefkorb 10 Tage, Archiv A 30 Tage, Archiv B 90 Tage. Wenn es aus einem Archiv gelöscht wurde ggf. auch abhängig vom Dokumententyp, z.B. Rechnungen bleiben 90 Tage im Papierkorb, Briefe nur 30 Tage usw.

9. Automatically delete duplicate documents

   As i have bills coming from different departments sometimes i find myself editing and uploading things I have already done and its a total waste of time.
   If docuware verifies that a new uploaded document already exists in docuware (either in tray, archived or any other place) he could delete it automatically or even better ask for it.

11. Möglichkeit: "Senden und Ablegen" bei geteilter Ansicht in Outlook

    Bei einer neuen Mail besteht die Möglichkeit, die Funktion "Senden und Ablegen" zu nutzen. Wenn ich aber direkt in Outlook, wo man die Aufteilung hat (Linke Navigation mit Ordnern | Mailbetreff | Inhalt) auf eine Mail klicke, um zu antworten, steht die Funktion nicht zur Verfügung. Erst wenn ich doppelt auf die Mail klicke, wodurch sich ein neues Fenster öffnet, ist die Funktion verfügbar. Warum geht es nicht direkt in der Aufteilung (Navigation | Betreff | Inhalt)?

12. Configure Export Data to allow the export of more than one table.

    I have a need to create an export which includes data from two different tables. Right now, I can select only one table to include in my export configuration. It would be nice if I could selected multiple tables to build my export file.

13. Fehlernachricht für normale, nicht technische Benutzer ausrichten.

    Einige Fehlernachrichten sind für normale Benutzer zu technisch und führen zu Unsicherheit. Die Nachrichten sollten beginnen mit einen einfach verständlichen Text, gefolgt von den technischen Informationen.

    Beispiel:
    Ein Benutzer legt ein Dokument ab. Es wird aber nicht abgelegt, weil es wo anders noch geöffnet ist.
    Die Meldung an den Benutzer sollte nun sein:
    "Das Dokument xy kann nicht abgelegt werden, da es noch von xy verwendet wird und nicht geperrt werden kann."

    Im Moment wird der Benutzer mit dieser Nachricht verwirrt.
    "Das Dokument xy kann nicht gesperrt werden, weil es bereits in einer anderen Session verwendet wird."

    Der Benutzer ist überfordert weil er mit 'gesperrt' (er will ja ablegen, wofür also eine Sperre) und 'session' nichts anfangen kann. War sein Ablagevorgang erfolgreich oder nicht?

14. Texte von Zellen der Ergenislisten per Mausklick ändern

    um in der aktuellen Version 7.9 (cloud) Werte von Indexfeldern ändern zu können, muss man ein Dokument anklicken und das Dialogfeld "Indexeinträge ändern" anklicken.

    In einigen Fällen wäre es jedoch praktischer, wenn man direkt in der Ergebnisliste auf einen eintrag klick, um dann einen Text (oder Wert) eingeben zu können. Dies würde das Ändern von Indexeinträgen erheblich beschleunigen.

    Diese Funktion sollte mind. für den Admin zur Verfügung stehen.

15. System should inform the administrator that user ID already exists

    If I have two users with a long name, e.g. "Katarzyna Nowak" and "Katarzyna Kowalska", the system prompts the user ID "KATARZYN"
    While this is ok when creating the first user, with the second one this name cannot be used and the system does not inform about it, but changes the user ID to a random string of characters. System should in such a case prevent the creation of such a user and inform the administrator that such a user ID already exists.

16. Bausteine aus Workflows in andere Workflows kopieren

    Leider kann ich bei ähnlichen Workflows keine Bausteine - seien es Aufgaben, Entscheidungen oder Datenzuweisungen - von einem Workflow in einen anderen kopieren und einfügen, sondern nur innerhalb eines Workflows. Das würde sehr viel Zeit beim Aufbauen von Workflows sparen.

17. Recycle Bin

    Items we delete from DocuWare are archived, for this reason we do not need to keep items in the recycle bin for 30 days. We suggest to be able to amend the time period to keep or to activate or deactivate the functionality as it does take extra storage which we now have to manually sit an delete. A search option on the deleted items will also be handy to make it easy to restore a specific item.

18. Connect to Outlook Send and Store should be automatic when sending a reply.

    We have been asked if the Connect to Outlook Send and Store would work the same as MailConnect. I.E. When the users click the send button the store to DocuWare dialog box prompt would appear automatically. The user's are forgetting they have to use the Send and Store option on the toolbar

19. Öffnen eines Ordners in der Ordnerstruktur verbessern

    Für alle die bisher für ihre Daten eine Ablage im Dateisystem hatten und jetzt die Dokumente in Docuware ablegen wollen, ist die Verwendung von Docuware Ordner eine super Sache. Allerdings gibt es einen großen Nachteil. Um auf Dokumente in einem speziellen Ordner zugreifen zu können muss die ganze Ordnerstruktur durchgeklickt werden. Bei uns sind z.B. alle Dokumente für die Projekte in einer definierten Struktur abgelegt. Um z.B. auf alle Dokumente für einen Bestellakt zuzugreifen müsste man in Docuware sich durch 5 Ordner klicken. Bei hunderten von Projekten nicht machbar. Man könnte natürlich nach allen Dokumenten für einen Bestellakt suchen, verliert dabei aber die Struktur der Ablage.

    Es gibt aus meiner Sicht 3 Möglichkeiten die Ordnerstruktur zu verbessern.

    1. Öffnen eines Ordners als Parameter für den Explorer analog zu "explorer c:\Temp". Das ist aber wahrscheinlich sehr schwierig.

    2. Zugriff über eine Verknüpfung. Derzeit kann man ja im Explorer für einen Ordner eine Verknüpfung am Desktop erstellen, die dann ganz normal über einen Aufruf oder im Explorer geöffnet werden kann. Allerdings funktioniert die Generierung der Verknüpfung nur manuell. Wenn man das per Script durchführen könnte, wäre schon viel erreicht.

    3. Erweiterung des URL Generators um einen Link zu einem Ordner zu generieren. Wir verwenden diese Methode schon um Links zu Dokumenten mit Powershell zu generieren. Super Sache.

    Enable saving a flattened version of a document to in turn mail out of the system or within the email workflow tool, enable flattening a copy of the document for customer facing.
