Flexiblere Gestaltung von Ablagedialogen
Aufgrund der starren Definition und Konfiguration von Dialogen kommt es gerade bei der Konfiguration von Ablagedialogen immer wieder zu Problemen, die umständliche Lösungen erfordern. So sind häufig bestimmte Kriterien abhängig von den Werten anderer Kriterien als Pflichtfelder zu definieren oder ggf. auch aus-/einzublenden, was aktuell leider nicht möglich ist. Dadurch ist es notwendig mit einer steigenden Anzahl an Ablagedialogen zu arbeiten oder für den Benutzer umständliche Lösungen über Workflow-Aufgaben zu bauen.
Sinnvoller wäre es, wenn bei den Feldeinstellungen "nur lesen" und "Pflichtfeld" eine Abhängigkeit zu Eingaben bei anderen Indexkriterien eingerichtet werden könnte.6 votes -
Direkte Zuweisung von Ablagedialogen zu Briefkörben
Viele Benutzer haben aus diversen Gründen Berechtigungen für eine Vielzahl an Ablagedialogen. Da einerseits Briefkörbe jeweils in festen Teams genutzt werden, aber auch ein User mehreren Teams angehört, andererseits das Intelligente Indexing in einem Briefkorb fest einem Ablagedialog zugewiesen wird, arbeiten viele Kollegen in mehreren Briefkörben, in welchen sie eine ganze Liste an Ablagedialogen angezeigt bekommen.
Nicht nur aus Gründen der Übersichtlichkeit, sondern auch, damit die Dokumente aus einem bestimmten Briefkorb auch immer über den passenden Ablagedialog verarbeitet werden, sollte es möglich sein, die Ablagedialoge abhängig vom Briefkorb einzuschränken bzw. diese direkt Briefkörben zuzuweisen.12 votes -
workflow notifications in history
DocuWare Workflow History on a document shows emails on a reassign of a task but it does NOT show any email activity when a task has notification enabled to send an email to the assigned user of a task. History absolutely needs to include an entry when a task notification email is sent as one of the automated activities.

fix the workflow designer to recognize when a local data connection has been restored
First I would like to thank DocuWare for no longer supporting MSSQL versions < 11. I would like to thank DocuWare even more for not letting me know before the update that broke my data connection. Having said that, I got the database updated and the local data connector setup but now all of my workflows that were affected by the data connector being broken need to be fixed. It would be really nice if it would just look and see that oh yeah the data source is there now and use it rather than forcing me to go into…

autofill single value
Docuware 7.6 preview..
I simply can't understand why you haven't made the autofill single value function in the store dialogs.. because this is the main input source to get documents inside Docuware.. (Currently in 7.6 is only on forms). Please make this feature available in 7.6 final release.. i have many customers who are waiting for this feature where they are using filtered lists..2 votes -
Daten-Export Sortierung
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn man im Daten-Export Modul die Sortierreihenfolge der Daten angeben kann, damit diese nach dem Export bereits sortiert sind.
Beispiel:
Es sollen die Spalten Datum, Mitarbeiter und Grund exportiert werden. Im Daten-Export Modul kann man an einer Stelle konfigurieren, dass zuerst absteigend nach Datum und dann aufsteigend nach Mitarbeiter sortiert wird.3 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Es sollte die Möglichkeit geben, Cloud-Systeme zurückzusetzen auf den Ursprungszustand. Oft muss man Trial Systeme konfigurieren oder man testet etwas. man muss für jeden Test eine neue Cloud anlegen, was viel Zeit kostet und aufwendig ist.

Ability to e sign documents with Adobe Sign
Like DocuSign and VIDSigner integration, Docuware must have an integration with Adobe Sign. It's a big esignature provider in the world and a lot of customers have a subscription with they and they don't want change of provider. We've lost a lot of bussiness for this reason.

Allow storer to select "store document in black and white" when scanned in color
Documents stored in color are much larger than those in black and white. Allow user to require documents to be stored only in b/w, even if this causes a color document to be converted to b/w pdf prior to storing. Should be able to be over-ridden by authorized users.

Kombinierte Datenbankfelder automatisch erzeugen lassen
In einem DocuWare-Archiv sollte ein kombiniertes Datenbankfeld automatisch erzeugen werden können.
Hier ein Beispiel zur Verdeutlichung:
Im Ablagedialog werden folgende Felder ausgefüllt
- Nachname: Freudenberger
- Vorname: Lena
Und DocuWare erstellt automatisch und ohne händische Pflege folgendes Datenbankfeld:
- Name (Nachname, Vorname): Freudenberger, LenaDieses Feld kann dann z.B. zum Erstellen einer Ordnerstruktur genutzt werden.

Have an option to move the Submit button to the right side of the form
It would be great if we had the option to move the submit button to the right-hand side of the form. Right now the submit button is placed on the bottom left of the form. Most users look to the bottom right of the screen when they want to click submit, so having the form on the bottom left makes it extra work for users to do to locate the button.

DW Tabellen mit mehreren Zeilen aus externen Datenbanken befüllen
Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn man Tabellen mit Datensätzen aus externen Datenbanken befüllen könnte. Momentan wird nur der erste Treffer aus der DB Abfrage in die Tabelle übernommen. Wenn man nun jedoch z.B. eine Bestellnummer als Filter mitgibt, wäre es klasse, wenn die DW Tabelle alle fünf DB Positionen, welche mit der Bestellnummer angelegt sind übernimmt.

Smart Search optional ohne Wildcardsuche
Im Moment werden Wildcards automatisch der Suche über Smart Connect mitgegeben. Hier wäre es wünschenswert diese Option auch ausschalten zu können.

Ability to remove a specific clipped document
Sometimes users needs remove a document was clipped and in a most of the cases, they must delete the document and upload again even if it is in a workflow, wasting the time waiting the approvals again.
Docuware should have the ability to remove the document was clipped but not in the document tray but in the same file cabinet like a "right click > Unattach documents" and select the document(s) to remove.

Allow complex conditions for trigger a Worfklow or in a "Wait for event" of WFM
It's great to be able to generate Workflow triggers and "Wait for event" based on conditions that contain a combination of AND and OR such as we can use for example in notifications, autoindexs or tasklists for example:
(Status = "NEW" AND (DocType = "01" OR Doctype = "02")) OR (Customerid > 0 and Customerid <5)

Insert or Append
I believe it would be very useful to have the ability to open an existing document and have the option to Insert (Before or After) a page and the ability to Append files. This would easily allow a user to replace an outdated or incorrectly scanned page or Append additional files to a document. Having to unclip, scan, insert, resort, and clip files is VERY annoying to all of our users.

enter the network ID after copying a user in Admin
I would like to be able to copy a user, then enter a new Network ID in Admin. Otherwise, for Windows users, there seems to be no copy functionality.

Improve error notification in a task activity validation tab.
The validation tab will give an error if configured incorrectly however if the activity or a field is renamed the validation will break. You can still save the task and publish the workflow without an error notification that the validation is broken. This results in an error when the user tries to confirm the task.
