3. Workflow engine performance reporting tool

   It would be nice if there were a cloud reporting tool that could analyze workflows for performance issues, long running queries, etc. and provide data on how long tasks are taking to complete behind the scenes. This would provide a good snapshot of what is going on under the hood. Currently any performance data or recommendations must come from support.

6. Links aus E-Mailbenachrichtigungen sollen in ein DocuWare mit Menü führen

   Aktuell ist in der Version 7.4, sowohl Cloud als auch OnPremise, bei Erhalt einer E-Mail-Benachrichtigung über zu erledigende Aufgaben nur die eine Aufgabe in DW mit dem Entscheidungsbaum sichtbar ohne DW-Menü. Wenn aber mehrere Aufgaben zu erledigen sind, muss der Kunde sich entweder in DW einloggen oder er muss für jede einzelne Aufgabe in der jeweiligen E-Mail auf den Link klicken. Das ist sehr unkomfortabel und es sollte in jedem Fall die Möglichkeit geben - wie in den Vorversionen - in ein DW mit Menü weitergeleitet zu werden.

8. Dokumentverknüpfung auch über Index vom Typ "Tabelle" ermöglichen

   Kürzlich wurde der Index-Typ "Tabelle" eingeführt. Leider wurde im Bereich "Verknüpfungen" vergessen, diesen dort nutzbar zu machen.

   Man kann also aktuell keine Dokumente über ein Feld in einem Tabellen-Index verknüpfen.

   Das ist schade, man denke z.B. an Kostenstellennummern in Splitbuchungen.

   Als einfache Lösung würde sich an der Stelle eine Volltextsuche über alle Tabellenfelder mit dem angegeben Wert anbieten. Dann müsste das Konfigurationsformular im Administrationsbereich von DW nicht einmal umgebaut werden.

9. Desktop App Scannen mit dauerhaften Dialogfenster

   Beim Scannen stört, wenn man die Einstellungen beim Scannen zwischenzeitlich wechseln muss und dafür jedes Mal den Scanvorgang abbrechen, dann auf "Seiten hinzufügen" klicken muss und damit den Scanvorgang neu zu starten. Dann mache ich meine Scananpassungen, scanne und muss das Spiel wiederholen, um zu meinen Standardscaneisntellungen zurück zu kehren.

   Beispiel: Wir scannen einen Stapel Din A4 ein. 400 Seiten.
   Nun liegt eine Seite im DIN A3 Format dazwischen. Dafür muss ich dann an entsprechender Stelle den Scanvorgang abbrechen, Seiten hinzufügen klicken, mit veränderter Scaneinstellung scannen, wieder abrechen und dann das Spiel wieder von vorne mit Standard Einstellung. Muss das mehrmals im Stapel gemacht werden, bremst das den Arbeitsprozess enorm aus. Das war alten Windows Client früher praktischer, wo man im Scannen einfach die Einstellungen anpassen konnte. Warum das nicht wieder einführen?

10. Scannen mit Vorschaufenster

    Was wir beim Scannen vermissen, ist ein Fenster mit den aktuell eingescannten Seiten zu sehen. So wie früher.
    Die kleine Anzeige ist nicht wirklich hilfreich.
    Dann kann man direkt sehen, ob die Qualität beim Scannen stimmt. So kann man nur im Nachgang reagieren.

11. User Last Login Date - Spotting Unused Accounts

    It would be great to have a Last Login Date shown for the users. Once a system grows beyond a certain point it can be a real challenge to sort out what accounts are not in use anymore. This simple tag would make that task a breeze.

    I suggest that you change the behavior of date fields when storing a document.
    On the current behavior, on starting filling "DD", it automatically fills "MM/YYYY" with the current month and year. Awesome, don't change that.
    But if by mistake we fill "15/11/201" (instead of "15/11/2021"), we change the line, then come back on the date field, delete all the value and start filling with "15", it automatically completes with the previous wrong information "11/201" instead of the initial behavior (current month and year).

13. Anker als Suchstart für Regex

    Hallo,
    sobald Benutzer eine unterschiedliche Bildschirmauflösung oder Zoom verwenden, funktionieren bestehende Anker nicht mehr. Viele dieser Fälle könnte man umgehen, wenn man Anker als Startposition für eine Regex Suche setzen kann. Beispiel : Anker auf Text "ID Nummer" und ausgelesen werden soll die erste 5 stellige Nummer, die nach dem Anker gefunden wurde. Unabhängig von der Entfernung zum Anker.

14. Highlight Search

    The new Highlight Search feature added to SmartConnect has a major design flaw. You specify a search dialog and one field to search but Highlight Search IGNORES all the specific criteria set in the selected search dialog which means it returns way more documents then the user expects. Example: I have an Accounting Documents - Purchase Order search that searches Doctype = Purchase Order and PO Number is the field that Highlight Search is configured to use. I highlight a PO Number in my accounting software and DocuWare Highlight Search returns the PO, Invoice, Check, Packing List, etc. even though the original search is read-only set to only search for Purchase Order. This feature is virtually useless to customers in most cases because Highlight Search ignores all the criteria specified in the chosen search dialog and there is no option in the Highlight Search configuration to filter / control what will get returned by this new feature. Great idea but the implementation falls well short of what is needed.

15. User synchronization account must be Organization Administrator

    The account used in user synchronization must be Organization Administrator in order to automatically assign licenses to the created users.

    It is not desirable to make a service account, whose password is stored in a decryptable way, always organization administrator.

17. persönliche Anmerkungen im Workflow

    Wir haben in unserer Aufgabenliste oft mehrere hundert Rechnungen. Um hier eine bessere Übersicht zu erhalten wäre es sinnvoll, persönliche Annotationswerkzeuge auf Listenebene vorzuhalten.
    Beispielsweise würde ich in der Liste gerne mehrere Dokumente farbig hervorheben, je nachdem wie dringlich das Dokument ist oder welchen Bearbeitungsstand es hat. Auch wären Icons interessant, die den Bearbeitungsstand bereits in der Liste anzeigen. Hier geht es nicht um automatische Icons laut irgendwelcher Daten, sondern um vom Benutzer selbst gewählte aktive Organisierungshilfen.

    Oder Anmerkungen, die nicht auf dem Dokument, sondern nur in der Aufgabenliste zu sehen sind (Anfrage an... schicken; auf Gutschrift warten usw.)

    We have a large number of documents (some filecabinets > 15m documents) We would like to add variable predefined entry in the search dialog to Prevent users from doing open ended searches on large datasets. currently it only seems to support a static min date and max date.

19. Highlight Search Poor Performance

    The new highlight search is a great new feature. However in its current implementation the performance is poor compared to a search dialog search on an exact string match.

    For example.

    A string search on our database for a customer reference in a regular search dialog takes around 0.3 seconds. A search using the new highlight search took 20 seconds!

    I believe the issue is that the search type used in the new highlight search feature is using a LIKE query which in turn is also passed to the SQL database as a LIKE query also, making the database search inefficient. We have good indexes on our SQL database but over 10m document rows. Staff wont use this feature with that level of performance.
