Automatically logout from windows explorer client
The DocuWare-Windows-Explorer Client should logout an user immediately after closing the windows explorer. Right now it takes a lot of time until the client license frees up.

Zum Abgleich mit den Überweisungen wäre es hilfreich, wenn in der Liste "heute zu zahlen" ein Summenbetrag ausgewiesen werden könnte.

remove default select lists from dates and other fields
Select lists make no sense on some fields. Dates, decimals, integers, etc. These fields may have some uses for select lists but the majority of the time I end up removing the default select list.
It would be good to turn off the default select list for fields that do not have the need the majority of the time they are used.

Klammern im Windows Explorer Client
Ermöglichen von Klammern von Dokumenten direkt im Windows Explorer Client, beispielsweise indem das Dokument auf ein bestehendes Dokument gezogen wird (ähnlich, als wolle man unter Windows ein Dokument im Ordner ablegen), dann beim Loslassen eine kurze Frage zur Sicherheit, ob geklammert werden soll. Bestätigen oder Abbrechen.

Filterung von Indexeinträgen in Ablagemasken besser konfigurierbar machen
Eine aktuelle Kundenanforderung ist, dass Indexfelder bei der Ablage gefiltert werden können. Dies funktioniert, solange die Ablagemaske keine vordefinierten Felder beinhaltet. Wenn diese auch noch Read-Only sind, kann der Nutzer noch nicht mal die Filterung für dieses Feld ausschalten. Dies muss für jedes Indexfeld in der Konfiguration einzeln gemacht werden. Hat man zum Beispiel einen Ablagedialog mit zwanzig Feldern und sind drei davon vorgegeben, muss ich in 17 Indexfeldern die Filterung für diese drei Felder aufheben. Hierzu zählt übrigens auch der Dateiname. Besser wäre es, wenn für vorbelegte Felder automatisch die entsprechenden Häkchen in den Indexfeldern entfernt würden.

Remove the backside (even pages) from a PDF with an Import configuration.
Invoices often have the unneeded information on the second page of an emailed PDF. As of now, there is no method to configure an import configuration to only use the odd number pages and omit the even number pages. This would reduce the number of pages stored to only pages with necessary data.

add an option to show the size of the file cabinet
as windows when I click right-click inside the folder or on the folder itself, I believe will be savvy option to be added along with the option of limiting the size of the document tray and the file cabinet

Workflowmanager Count-Funktion bei List of Users
Im WF-Manager gibt es die Möglichkeit, bei Stichwortfeldern die Funktion .Count() um die Anzahl der Einträge zu bekommen. Leider wurde diese Funktion bei der Verwendung einer List of Users nicht implementiert.

Allow naming of documents prior to scanning process
Manually naming each specific document prior to scanning each individual document into the document tray. Much more convenient to locate files if they have already been named. Currently it looks as if you will have to "rename" each document AFTER the scanning process is complete.

Add integration link functionality into Workflow notifications
I would love to be able to generate dynamic DW Integration links in Workflow (based on index data and/or global vars). My main use case would be to use one or more links in a notification.
Currently just getting an integration link requires a web service. (Web services are typically not trivial for our cloud customers.)
And then, having a URLEncoded link, it is plopped as-is into the text of the notification which is really quite ugly.
Please consider integrating integration links in workflow.

Enable Flagging for stored files
It would be very helpful to be able to Flag stored files.For example, We store files (Jobs) by Job number. If there was a way to Flag a specific job that has special needs so that upon any future inquiries on this Job , it would immediately be apparent that it needs special handling. This could be part of the indexing process. Also any files added to a stored Job that has been flagged already would prompt a Popup that would warn the user that the specific Job being added to, demands special handling. Similar to the Popup that appears…

include a tool to invert a TIFF document...FROM black background & white text TO white background & black text
We accidently scanned several documents into TIFF format with an inverse option selected. This causes them to print with a black background and white text. I would like the opposite. I know their is an inverse button for toggling this for viewing purposes, but for printing, no toggle is available. I know Black Ice makes a product to convert/invert TIFF files, but I would save a lot of steps if Docuware had a product that was part of their program that could do this so that I would not have to re-index files stored in Docuware. Making use of variables throughout the system, for instance when working in forms, you could write an forms input directly to a global variable which could then be used in the workflow designer.

Die Bauverwaltung hätte gerne in der Vieweranzeige die Möglichkeit mit einer "Hand" Pläne anzufassen und zu verschieben
Die Bauverwaltung erachtet es für sehr unpraktisch, Zeichnungen im Viewer nur mit dem Balken unten oder rechts verschieben zu können. Praktischer wäre es im Viewer mit einem "Händchen" das Dokument anzufassen und in verschiedene Richtungen dirigieren zu können. Diese Funktion gibt es auch in anderen Programmen.

Barcode-Erkennung aus Web-Client wie damals mit Windows-Client & Recognition
Moin,
früher war es möglich mittels Recognition Barcodes per Bereich im Windows-Client auszulesen um den erkannten Wert in die Indexbegriffe zu übernehmen - mit dem Webclient ist dieses Feature verschwunden oder ich habe es noch nicht entdecken können - könnte das bitte wieder eingebaut werden?

Indexierung anhand externen Daten vervollständigen
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn die Funktion "Indexierung vervollständigen" auch auf externe Daten zugreifen könnte.
Bspw. man gibt in der Indexierung eine Kundennummern an.
Bei der Funktion Indexierung vervollständigen wird dann nicht das zuletzt abgelegte Dokument herangezogen, sondern Stammdaten aus dem ERP-System (per Datenbankzugriff).1 vote -
Detailierte Rückmeldungen bei Validierung
Heute akzeptiert DocuWare als Rückmeldung des Validierung WebServices im Falle einer fehlgeschlagenen Validierung nur den Status (OK oder Failed), sowie eine allgemeine Meldung. Insbesondere bei komplexeren Dialogen ist dies zuwenig.
Daher sollte es zusätzlich möglich sein, dass für jedes Feld welches nicht korrekt validiert werden konnte eine Meldung mitgegeben werden kann. Zusätzlich sollten die entsprechenden Felder im Dialog im WebClient farblich hervorgehoben werden um den Blick des Benutzers direkt auf die problematischen Eingaben zu lenken.
Für die allgemeine / übergeordnete Fehlermeldung wäre es schön, wenn diese durch Zeilenumbrüche formatierbar wäre.
