Reminders on Forms
Have ability to add reminders on forms that they will be expiring or need updates at certain times.

Allow select lists to be used for check box/multiple choice in forms
I have forms that use checkbox fields. But I would like to be able to use a dynamic list for the checkbox items. An example of this is class lists for attendance. When a kid enrolls or drops I would like to be able to use the student record information to change the attendance form automatically.

Add ability to unlock documents in cloud
Having the ability to unlock a document stored in a cloud version of DocuWare would be nice. Sometimes users leave documents locked which can cause an issue if the document is moving through a workflow.

Assign alternate web form field to a file cabinet index field when storing to the cabinet
I am using multiple optional form fields to collect document index data dynamically through form behaviors. It would be nice to write form field 2 data to the document index if field 1 is empty.
This would be like assigning multiple OCR zones to a single index field in Document Processing.

Export or synchronize documents with history
When transferring/synchronizing documents into a different file cabinet there is no may to export the workflow history, also document history cannot be transferred but especially the workflow history is important for many customers.
When is this important:
-many customers are moving from on premises systems to cloud
-splitting one large file cabinet into several smaller onesFor audit reasons keeping the workflow history is crucial but there is currently no other way than having Docuware Request with workflow history export which you save localy and run if requested by some auditor. All described options above lead to loss of this…

i suggest that you put a zoom function in the document tracy
It would really be nice if I could see my documents in my tray instead of having to open them up one at a time and look at them., IF I have 10 doucments I would like to be able to read all of them.

Aufgabensichtbarkeit anhand von Indexwertprofilen
Es gibt Rollen welche die Rechte anhand von Indexwertprofile steuern (z.B. Index Vertraulichkeit = 1; Vertraulich = 2; etc.)
Dann gibt es Rollen für Workflow Aufgaben (z.B. Rolle "Einkauf" erhält die Aufgabe Rechnungen an Prüfer zu verteilen)
Hat nun ein Benutzer aus der Rolle Einkauf nur eingeschränkte Sichtrechte, bekommt er trotzdem das "geheime" Dokument als Aufgabe. Er kann es zwar nicht öffnen, kann aber trotzdem die Aufgabe bearbeiten. Zudem sieht er die Indexwerte des Dokuments innerhalb der Aufgaben, obwohl er gar nicht das Recht dazu hat.Meine Idee wäre daher innerhalb des Workflow Designers eine Checkbox beim Element "zuweisen an"…

Enable Outlook Signature to attach automatically when sending from Docuware Web app opposed to manually attaching with the Signature button. Even if you have a signature enabled it will not attach your signature when sending from Docuware.

In der Indexierungshilfe gibt es die möglichkeit zu sehen welcher Auswahlliste welchem Dialog zugewiesen ist aber nicht die Workflows.

Kontrollflächen für Filter & Sortierschaltflächen nicht dynamisch sondern permanent anzeigen
Bei der Benutzung der Filter & Sortierfunktionen (...wie Excel über Spaltenüberschriften) verschwinden diese, da sie technologisch wie Tooltips angelegt sind.
Diese Schaltflächen permanent anzuzeigen (ggf. via zentraler Checkbox oder Usersetting) würde die Bearbeitung in vielen Fällen beschleunigen.

Erweiterung der .net-Api (Dateiinhalt mit Stream ersetzen)
Beim Ersetzen des Inhaltes einer Datei verschwindet oder verändert sich momentan die DWExtension, wenn der in section.PutToContentRelationForSection angegebene MimeType unbekannt (z.B. "application/vnd.ms-outlook" für .msg) oder generisch ("application/octet-stream") ist. Bei section.EasyReplace ist nur ein FileInfo-Parameter vorgesehen. Hier wären jeweils Overloads für die Methoden sinnvoll.
section.PutToContentRelationForSection: Ein optionaler Boolean-Parameter, der festlegt ob der bestehende Dateityp beibehalten werden soll (in diesem Fall könnte der Mimetype sogar entfallen)
section.EasyReplace: Ein Overload mit Stream und Mimetype statt FileInfo. Der optionale Parameter wäre hier ebenfalls gut.

Administration of viewer defaults
Users can individually change their viewing preferences but it would be useful to be able to customize the defaults. For example, turning on the Navigation menu.

Workflow form validation with web service
When forms are complex, with many fields which requires cross check and external databases lookup, the validation is not achievable with a single condition.
Having the ability to call a REST or SOAP web service to perform validation (as in store dialogs), would greatly increase the application usability.2 votes -
WebVerbindung in Benachrichtigungen auswählen
Wenn mehrere WebVerbindungen zum DocuWare System konfiguriert sind (in manchen Systemumgebungen notwendig!), wäre es hilfreich in den E-Mail Benachrichtigungen eine der konfigurierten WebVerbindungen für die Erstellung der Dokument- oder Aufgabenlisten-Links auswählen zu können.
Dies ist für die Cloud-Lösung vermutlich nicht sinnvoll, für On Premises jedoch schon.1 vote -
Make licence assignment page searchable by users
When you are in a administration view, managing licences, it would be nice to have an option to search users by name. If you can't have UI for that, at least enable browser search function, so we can quickly find the person who needs licence change.

Add a recycle bin for any deletions taking place on docuware with a configurable retention date in the bin.

(x) admin configurable option, we had an issue where a webform/ merge form were deleted and had to be re designed from scratch, would be nice to restore from somewhere5 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Change viewer tool option from a indivual setting to an admin setting.
Allow administrators to configure the viewer tool option. Instead of having users configure the option.
