Comment Marker on workflow steps
Especially during the creation of more complex and lengthy workflows, it would be good to have an option for a comment on the different workflow step-tools. Similar to the red circle with the !, there could be a little marker, showing the admin that there is a comment on that box. The comment could then be used to leave hints on what needs to be changed in future versions of the workflow.

Deletion workflows should flag a file and display the results as an example before purging documents.
Deletion policy. Before Docuware runs the policy I would like to see what is marked for deletion before it happens in case a filter is not configured correctly.

Forms should allow FirstName LastName to identify users and not just login name
I would like to be able to use First Name , Last Name fields in user management within DocuWare forms. Not Just the display name that has to be the same as ad name to SSO will work.

Docuware Client - Settings - Searches - Group/A-Z Sort option
Ability to Group searches by File Cabinet, and to reset/order/sort search dialogs in the User Settings

Feiertrage importieren
Feiertrage sollten auch mit DocuWare 7.3 und höher via z.B. csv zu importieren sein.
Noch besser wäre die Einbindung von https://feiertage-api.de oder ähnlichen Diensten, sodass nur noch einmalig das Bundesland ausgewählt werden muss. Somit würde das jährliche Feiertage einspielen ganz entfallen.

User Feedback bei Installation deaktivieren
User werden zufällig nach einem Feedback im Webclient gefragt. Diese Feedback Abfrage kann in der Konfiguration deaktiviert werden.
Ein Update überschreibt allerdings diese Änderungen wieder und man müsste die Feedback Abfrage erneut deaktivieren.
Bitte bauen Sie bei der Update-Installation ein Button ein, bei dem man das gleich deaktivieren kann.

Anzeige von archivierten Audio- und Video-Dateien im DocuWare-Client
Seit vielen Jahren sind Protokolle in Form von Audio- und Video-Dateien vorgeschriebene Speicherformate im Bankgeschäft. Es ist bedauerlich - und ein klarer Wettbewerbsnachteil - , daß DocuWare diese regulatorische Vorgaben nicht unterstützt.
Beispielhaft sei das nachstehende BaFin-Rundschreiben von 04/2017 genannt:

Indexing alias information
For indexing, validation, intelligent indexing, external data and normalization it is nearly impossible for all incoming documents to have the exact same data all the time.
Example:

CWLP, City Water Light and Power

Sending a Request - Default Ability - Automatically Apply Stamp w/ Decision
Hello!
Client request here to have the ability to set the check box for Automatically Apply Stamp w/ Decision to be checked by default, and I can definitely see how this might be quite important. They know they'll want this for all requests, and as it is the user will have to remember to hit the check box every time, and there will almost certainly be times this gets missed. Not the first time I've heard this request, so now it's time to see if we can ********* the backlog.

Please maintain Index details of a deleted document in Audit report to help deleted documents audit.
When i modify any document index values, Audit report screen shows modified record's details. But deleted record details are not shown.
It is required to show index details of deleted record as part of audit requirement. Attached deleted record screenshot for your reference5 votes -

Ability to total/put formulas in forms
If we cannot get the table field in forms, could we have the ability to perform basic totaling/other formulas in forms? I would like people who put in multiple amounts to have the double check that the amount totals.

Web Service Integration Improvements
DocuWare doesnt have the same abilities as SoapUI to process data from web services. See below
Docuware can’t process sub child XML elements and self-closing tag as a parameter.
SoupUI can process all standard data types while Docuware can accept Integer and Decimal but seems to inconsistently be able to access some string parameters
Some context objects in SoapUI aren't able to be interacted with in DocuWare because the data types aren't standard (string, decimal etc).

Display Workflow Users Assigned to a Group via a Role
Currently if I have a workflow task and I create a field in the dialog that is set to user of a group and multi-select and I have specified a group for the task assignment to display a list of users. I have found that if the group contains a role that the members of the role do not display in the list of user for the workflow field defined as user of a group. Specify the output storage location and regularly export with the Request function of DocuWare Cloud.
DocuWare Cloud only works at manual exports by clicking download button.
It seems that you can specify and schedule storage with on premise, but it is not allowed with DocuWare Cloud.

Allow Wildcards for Filtering in Monitor Tasks
This is a new client request, and I like it too. Would be quite useful to be able to use wildcards for the filters in Monitor Tasks columns. It's common for me to have some content in the middle of a string and it would be really nice to be able to filter for these.

Unterstützung für Azure Application Proxy
Wir möchten auf den Docuware Webclient ohne VPN, aber dafür mittels des Azure Application Proxy zugreifen und damit die Sicherheitsfeatures von AzureAD nutzen (z.B. MFA). Leider wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das der Application Proxy derzeit nicht unterstützt wird. Sicherheitstechnisch wäre das für uns eine Gewinn, da nur noch authentifizierter Traffic zu Docuware kommt und kein Systembestandteil in der DMZ stehen muss. Wir wünschen uns daher die Unterstützung für den Azure Application Proxy: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/application-proxy

Auto-Check expiration dates for certificates
E-signature via official certificates is absolutely required in most countries electronic document management law. If we want to get rid of all that paper, we need to e-sign all of our invoices. It is a problem Docuware do not give you a heads up when certificates are expired, It should notice you and stop all that e-sign required processes until new certificate is set.
