Auto selection when there is only one option in multi colum list
When in a multi-column list there is only one option to select which auto selects.

Desktop notifications
Windows Desktop Notifications should be a thing, in the same way as E-Mail notifications are. If one has Desktop Apps installed or allowed the WebClient to send notifications, a User should be able to receive Desktop notifications in addition to Mail notifications.

Keep viewer open when clipping a new document
Users would like to be able to see the original document when clipping a new one. Currently the viewed document closes as soon as the tray opens for selecting a document to clip. The stored documents have a number and the new ones in the tray have that same number. All the numbers look similar, so currently behavior requires that the user memorize which number is to be selected. With many documents in the tray and frequent phone calls and interruptions they can make mistakes, which then are hard to fix because clipped documents cannot be easily edited.

Enable Flagging for stored files
It would be very helpful to be able to Flag stored files.For example, We store files (Jobs) by Job number. If there was a way to Flag a specific job that has special needs so that upon any future inquiries on this Job , it would immediately be apparent that it needs special handling. This could be part of the indexing process. Also any files added to a stored Job that has been flagged already would prompt a Popup that would warn the user that the specific Job being added to, demands special handling. Verbesserte Benachrichtigungen bei neuen Aufgaben
Es gibt momentan keine wirkliche Benachrichtungsmöglichkeit bei neuen Workflow-Aufgaben. Man könnte im Browser über den Seitentitel "Neue Aufgaben" einblenden wie man es auch bei vielen Webmailern sieht. (Screenshot1)
Alle gängigen Browser unterstützen die Funktion Desktop-Benachrichtigung, man könnte im Systray-Icon der Desktop-Apps eine kleine Zahl einblenden (Screenshot2) oder über die Windows Desktop-Benachrichtung darauf hinweisen. Viele Kollegen bekommen erst sehr spät mit, dass Sie neue Aufgaben haben, weil sie z.B. in einem anderen Browsertab aktiv sind und es nur dann sehen, wenn Sie aktiv im Docuware-Client nachsehen. Selbst die Mobile-App zeigt kein Notify-Symbol. Da gibt es meiner Meinung nach dringend handlungsbedarf.8 votes -

Please "OR" the values retrieved in an SC List Readout Area.If you have two Readout areas on a form (A & B) SmartConnect will (automatically) "AND" the values (A AND B) to retrieve the correct record/document from the database. BUT if one of the Readout areas is a "List" of values (B,C,D, etc)... it breaks. It SHOULD (A AND (B OR C OR D)). This functionality is present in the standard search dialog...

include a tool to invert a TIFF document...FROM black background & white text TO white background & black text
We accidently scanned several documents into TIFF format with an inverse option selected. This causes them to print with a black background and white text. I would like the opposite. I know their is an inverse button for toggling this for viewing purposes, but for printing, no toggle is available. I know Black Ice makes a product to convert/invert TIFF files, but I would save a lot of steps if Docuware had a product that was part of their program that could do this so that I would not have to re-index files stored in Docuware. Hostname/IP in Lizenzübersicht erweitern, Clientlizenz deaktivieren
die Lizenzübersicht in der DW-Administration zeigt schon viel, ich vermisse aber die Information von wo aus sich ein Client verbindet:
Eine IP/ein Hostname wäre echt gut.Die Möglichkeit einen Client zu "kicken" wäre auch hilfreich.

Email Notification Link via Workflow
Currently Workflow Designer does not allow you to generate the link name from variables with in DW only so the only option is to hardcode it.
It would be nice to be able to use the filename and a date as the link in the email being received by end users. It gives more meaning that hard coding the word document and then followed by variables

DW Printer soll in File Verzeichnis ablegen
Es sollte möglich sein anstatt auf einem Drucker weiter zu drucken das Dokument auch in ein Verzeichnis Abzulegen. Whalweise dann auch mit und ohne Briefpapier
Konkreter Anwendungsfall Kunde versendet seine Rechnungen per Epost die PDFs müssen dazu in ein Verzeichnis abgelegt werden.

Werkzeug "Haken"
Setzt man fälschlicherweise einen Haken, kann man diesen nicht rückgängig machen.
Lösungvorschlag: In die Werkzeugleiste einen Haken einfügen, der dort mit der normalen Lösch-Funktion gelöscht werden kann (es gibt zwar einen Haken-Stempel, dieser ist aber nicht löschbar, alternativ diesen löschbar machen).5 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Make global variables global
Making use of variables throughout the system, for instance when working in forms, you could write an forms input directly to a global variable which could then be used in the workflow designer.

DocuWare Desktop Apps Server Namen
In den Desktop Apps muss man den Server Namen auch händisch ändern können. Als Partner und unterschiedlichen Versionen muss man nun DW Framework und DW Workflow Manager deinstallieren und neu installieren um die Systeme zu wechseln.

Veröffentlichungen.Ich gehe davon aus, dass mit “Servername” der Server von dem DocuWare Desktop installiert wurde gemeint ist (Welcher auch als Standardverbindung eingetragen wird)
Gerade die Verbindung mit unterschiedlichen DocuWare Versionen stellt sich als problematisch dar, da ja auch eine unterschiedliche Version der Desktop Apps für eine korrekte Kommunikation notwendig ist.
Falls es weitere Anwendungsfälle gibt, welche eine Änderung der ServerNamen benötigen können Sie diese gerne als Kommentar hnzufügen.

List which Document Processing Configurations have Automatic Identification enabled
In the Configuration page, when viewing the list of Document Processing Configurations, it would be helpful if there was a column that showed which configurations had Automatic Identification enabled.

Man Dokumente scrollen kann, nicht blättern!
Es ist sehr umständlich, z.B. in einer Rechnung blättern zu müssen, um den Endbetrag zu sehen. Beim Buchen muss ich dann immer aufpassen, dass ich in der Buchungserfassung bin. Wenn ich in den Belegen scrolle, bleibe ich in der Erfassung.

Allow restrictions of access to the Cloud from some workstations and/or only work hours
A prospect would like to restrict Cloud access to their personnel to only be allowed from their internal network or specifically authorized outside workstations. Is this possible? They do not want to use VPN to connect externally to their internal network and then to the Cloud. Are specific hours of operation available? Any suggestions will be welcome.

Die Bauverwaltung hätte gerne in der Vieweranzeige die Möglichkeit mit einer "Hand" Pläne anzufassen und zu verschieben
Die Bauverwaltung erachtet es für sehr unpraktisch, Zeichnungen im Viewer nur mit dem Balken unten oder rechts verschieben zu können. Praktischer wäre es im Viewer mit einem "Händchen" das Dokument anzufassen und in verschiedene Richtungen dirigieren zu können. Diese Funktion gibt es auch in anderen Programmen.

Globale Benachrichtigung für alle Workflow Aufgaben
Es wäre schön wenn man eine Art globale Benachrichtigung für alle Workflow-Aufgaben einstellen könnte.
Also sagen könnte, dass z. B. jeder Mitarbeiter 1x pro Woche eine Erinnerung erhält, welche Aufgaben aus welchem Workflow noch offen sind.
