Attach file on the begin of existing Document via Platform API
Multiple customers want to see the last file attached to the existing document as the first in the viewer. This would make sense for a method similar to the existing AddDocumentSections, which adds new sections to the begin of the document.

Indexfilter-Profile sollten früher eine Auswirkung auf die Anzeige haben
Indexfilter sind etwas ganz feines, allerdings hatte mich das Kontextmenü gerade etwas in die Irre geleitet, weswegen ich einen Supportfall 270825 eröffnet hatte: Für mich war nach der korrekten IF-Einstellung als Anwender nicht ersichtlich, bei welchem Dokument ich Indexwerte bearbeiten darf, und wo nicht - das wollten wir dynamisch gestalten, allerdings zeigte das Kontextmenü für ein Dokument immer noch "Indexeinträge ändern" an, obwohl der Nutzer für dieses Dokument gar keine Rechte hat. Das hat sich auch in der Infobox nicht anders dargestellt - erst beim Klick auf "Speichern" kam dann die Meldung, dass ich für dieses Dokument keine Rechte hätte.…

Ansichtsprofil für verfügbare Briefkörbe, Ablagedialoge und Listen in Benutzereinstellungen abspeichern
Mit der zunehmenden Nutzung von Docuware in immer mehr Unternehmensbereichen wird es hauptsächlich für die Poweruser wie Admins oder Abteilungsleiter/Geschäftsführung langsam etwas unübersichtlich.
Diese Nutzer benutzen Docuware im Verlauf einer Arbeitswoche durch unterschiedliche "Brillen" – zum Beispiel für die Buchhaltung. Dazu gehören bestimmte Briefkörbe, Ablagedialoge und Listen. Da sie in diesem Bereich beispielweise für zwei oder mehrere Firmen zuständig sind haben sie die zugehörigen Briefkörbe, Ablagedialoge und Listen auch für die Buchhaltung der zweiten oder weiterer Firmen immer eingeblendet.

Allow users to change the background color of the web client
We have AutoCAD drawings that have lighter colored lines and it is hard to see on the white background.

Tool für XML-Archivstruktur Export / Import in höherer Version
ich möchte einen Kunden gänzlich neu aufbauen, da wir ein 5.1c nur über Zwischenschritte auf Version 6.11 bekommen. Nun gibt es ja einen Archiv-Struktur-Export in eine XML. Diese XML kann ich leider in 6.11 nicht importieren - es gibt eine Fehlermeldung Der Support sagt mir gerade: Es gibt nach wie vor nichts um das zu konvertieren.
Es ist auch leider nicht das erste Mal, dass ich dieses Problem habe.
Das sind bestimmt 2-3 Stunden Aufwand, das alles fehlerfrei neu zu konfigurieren. Ich wünsche mir daher ein Konvertierungs-Tool oder eine eingebaute Funktion, dass man auch von älteren DW-Versionen einen Archiv-Struktur-Export machen…2 votes -
Dokumentenvergleich bei Versionierung
Im Rahmen vom QM Anforderungen ist es oftmals gewünscht dass Änderungen zweier versionierter Dokumente visuell dargestellt werden können . Entweder Markierung wenn die beiden Dokumente in zwei Viewern angezeigt werden oder ähnlich des Versionsvergleichs bei MS Word.

Add fields when there is a version change
It would be interesting that at the time to unlock a document with activated version control, we can see the fields of the file cabinet to modify it.
Now only are the fields main version, secondary version and comments.

connect to outlook
In Connect to Outlook, when using the "Send and Store" button, the user should be prompted to choose a cabinet. I know you can click near the arrow on the send and store button to get a list of cabinets, but users are just clicking the button and then a storage dialog pops up, but they have no idea which dialog it is or where they are storing to. Would be nice if when you click Send and Store, you get a choice of storage dialogs no matter where you click on the button.

Seitenzahlen in den Ergebnislisten
Die Darstellung der Seitenzahl für jedes in einer Ergebnisliste aufgeführte Dokument wäre eine wünschenswerte Funktion! Ferner wäre die Darstellung der Summe der Seitenzahlen an einer Stelle in der Ergebnisliste sehr nett! Alternativ könnten die Seitenzahlen in der Ergebnislisten-Funktion "Export in csv-Datei" dargestellt werden.
Hintergrund: die Seitenzahlen zu den Dokumenten diverser Vorgänge liefern teilweise wichtige Informationen, in welcher Art und Weise diese weiter bearbeitet werden könnten!

Rechnungen bezahlt stempeln
Wenn Rechnungen bezahlt gestempelt werden, sollte man in DW im Stempelfeld ein Standarddatum und eine Standardbank auswählen können. damit man es nicht jedes Mal aufs Neue auswählen muss.

DocuWare Intelligent Indexing Kontingent pro Jahr ermöglichen
Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn das Kontingent für DocuWare Intelligent Indexing als "Jahrespaket" abgeschlossen werden könnte.
Kunden, die beispielsweise ein saisonalen Peak von 1-2 Monate haben, müssen über das Jahr hinweg ein sehr hohes Kontingent beziehen, welches für das restliche Jahr nicht weiter benötigt wird.Als Lösung wären Pauschalkontingente pro Jahr anzubieten.

Outlook Notizen Archivierung
Wir haben Kunden, die gerne mit den Microsoft Outlook Notizen arbeiten. Es wäre schön wenn man nicht nur Mails sondern auch diese Notizen in DocuWare über ConnectToOutlook importieren könnte. Man kann zwar auch den Notizordner überwachen, aber DocuWare greift die Dateien leider nicht ab. Ein kürzerer Weg als [Rechtklick->Weiterleiten->Rechtsklickaufdie.msgDateiimAnhang->SpeichernUnter in einem von DocuWare Import überwachten Ordner] oder simples Drag&Drop der Notizen in die WebGUI von DW wäre auch eine Idee.

Ergebnisanzeige bei kombinierter Suche Volltext und Indexfelder
Bei der kombinierten Suche mit Volltext und Indexfeld bedingt durch das Suchverfahren folgender Effekt auftreten. Die Volltextsuche findet den gesuchten Begriff bei zu vielen Dokumenten und bricht dadurch die Suche ab. Dadurch wird bei der Vereinigung der Suche mit Indexfeld und Suche Volltext keine Ergebnisse angezeigt. Hier sollte statt dessen "Zu Viele Ergebnisse im Volltext, bitte Suche verfeinern" oder ähnlich angezeigt werden.

Bring back Docuware Mobile II or at least the functionality that it had
It seem that the latest version of DW Mobile was reduced in its capabilities from the original version. Almost like it was only developed for cell phone/ small screens. DW Mobile II had a lot more features for viewing documents and navigation was easier. We use tablets, not phones in the field for viewing documents.

Add Scan/Upload Management Capability Into Docuware Desktop Apps Scan Feature
SYMPTOM: When the user scans and clicks the upload button the program shows a message "Your document is being created and uploaded" For no apparent reason this process hangs, and, if left alone will run indefinitely.
PROBLEM: The symptom above effectively cripples any further SCAN & UPLOAD processing on the computer until a manual intervention is performed.
SOLUTION: When this happens, and it has happened to a number of different customers over the course of the last three months,and longer, we have taken the steps outlined here:

add Notes pane to workflow task view
The only way users currently have of adding comments to a document as it goes through a workflow is to use the "edit text annotation" function, which is not very visible and can easily be missed. A good idea may be to add a Notes pane to the task area in the bottom-left. In the same way that the users can flip between the various decisions they have as part of the task by clicking the decision buttons on the left side, a couple of buttons can be put on the top: one saying "Task" and the other saying "Notes".…

Audit Log Program
I know that you can turn on audit logging for access, delete, edit etc.. of documents, but it is put in notepad files and get overwritten and difficult to search. Would be a great feature to have an application that does this.

FC Folders: Indicate which fields require a select list and which are free form
When creating a folder view for a File Cabinet, there no indication which text fields are pulled from a closed select list and which accept any text input. This is annoying when you then try to create a new folder, only to find out when storing a file that the folder name does not match the select list.

Navigation durch Seiten und Anhänge
Es wäre schön wenn es eine Navigation durch das Dokument gibt die nicht pro Anhang getrennt angezeigt wird sondern durch alle Seiten aller Anhänge durchführt.
