Search for used fields and variables in Workflow Designer
We all know that workflows can get very complex. At the moment, if you need to find out where in the workflow you are using certain variables the only way to find the assignments is to try and delete the variable. The Designer then shows you a list of all places where that variable has been used. However, currently you have no way of finding data assignments to fields as you can't search for them. It would be very helpful to have an option in the Designer where you can see all the different fields (even in other file cabinets)…

Es wäre sehr hilfreich für den Vergleich bei gescannten Dokumenten, ob die Anzahl der Seiten des Dokuments mit dem Original übereinstimmt.
Dazu müsste der Systemeintrag "Gesamte Seitenanzahl" im Workflow Designer auslesbar sein4 votes -
Make Workflow Designer easier to keep tidy with multi-select
Make Workflow Designer easier to keep tidy, like Process Planner is.
I create a workflow on a VM to get it right, deploy to the customer system so the Workflow Designer layout looks intuitive to follow, and then any tweaks to the design of the Workflow from that point result in it looking like a bird's nest of connectors and boxes.
Multi-select would help quite a bit here

Make possible to assign a role on the substitution list.
When a Task is assigned to a Role, we want to assign the task to a third user in the case of all the members of the role are out of the office.

mehr Faben für das Archiv
Es sollte mehr als die 5 Farben für Archive und Briefkorbe geben. Mit unterschiedlichen Farben ist es einfacher die Verschiedenen Archive auseinander zuhalten und 5 sind etwas wenig.

Add location services to populate Forms in the field
Adding the ability to capture cell phone location on a Form so for use cases where you have remote users filling out forms they can 1) Not have to enter address 2) Be used as "proof" they were at the site.

The Workflow Designer is in need of much assistance.
In Visio, object connection points can be all around an object Also connection labels can be dragged to any position along the line by the user.
It appears that the Workflow Designed only has 4 connection points in each corner. Also the tags for each connector will automatically position themselves, but not always ideally. The effect is that lines and the labels will realign themselves willy nilly each time ANYTHING is relocated. This is EXTREMELY UNDESIRABLE!!!!! I spent more time today dicking around with positions and connecting lines, which have a mind of their own by the way, and not…

Date in Folder Dialogs
Let us assing DATE fileds to the Folder Dialogs Hierarchy, and choose what part (or parts) of the date to use (DAY, WEEK, MONTH, YEAR)

intelligent index work with keyword field
It would be nice to have Intelligent Indexing work with Keyword fields the same way it works with Table fields.
Example: I have packing slips with multiple PO numbers that needs to be populated in a Keyword field. I am using a keyword field instead of a table so i can link by that field in Document Relations.

Verwendung regulärer Ausdrücke auch in den Konfigurationen der Dokumentenverarbeitung
Schön wäre es in den Konfigurationen der Dokumentenverarbeitung auch die Option zu haben, reguläre Ausdrücke zu verwenden, so wäre manche Einstellung mitunter noch komfortabler zu erledigen.

Migrationstool damit DW4 Platten in DocuWare Version 7.2 umgewandelt werden können
DW4 Platten können nur in DW6 Systemen migriert werden. Es gibt in Version 7.2 die Möglichkeit diese zu lesen, wie man Sie aber umwandelt ist nicht integriert. Bitte ein Tool erstellen um DW4 ohne COLD zu migrieren. Kunden benötigen nicht nur die Möglichkeit zu lesen.

Filter and view unique documents
when supervising a flow, you see the document X times depending on how many people have the task assigned.... this clutters and fills the view, and gives silly numbers of pending tasks. (in our case most tasks are available to 10-15 peopler, therefore multiplying the list by that number...)
The ability to filter/show "different" task would be ideal.
Also the number of pending tasks should always refer to unique tasks.

"Document in workflow" flag in result list
It would be very helpful to have a flag in the result list to see which documents are currently in a workflow. At the moment the users will have to build rather complex searches for various different status entries to identify all documents which are still in a workflow process. If there was a flag like the paper clip for appended pages, it would help the users a lot

Make Emailing a Doc Available Without the Desktop Apps
I install a LOT of DW Desktop Apps only to get the Email a Document function. Would be great to have this made a part of the base web client experience. I would expect that there are probably some pretty good technical considerations to something like this, but would really be great. The web client is just so nice, and adding this functionality would allow a very large group of users to be fully functional with no local installs.

Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.Currently browsers do not allow to open an email application with an attachment. That´s why we need a local application to download the document and then attaching the document to the email.

Aufgabendialog kopieren
Für parallele Aufgaben im Workflow-Designer wäre es wirklich von Vorteil, wenn unter den Entscheidungen der Dialog kopiert werden könnte. Oft ist es so, dass parallele Aufgaben sehr identisch von der Feldnamenbezeichnung sind, da sie evtl. von mehren Personen / Abteilungen freigegeben werden müssen. Es ist mühsam, dieselben Feldnamen mit selbem Inhalt mehrmals eingeben zu müssen.

Indexeinträge ändern in Suche über mehrere Archive
Es sollte, genau wie bei der Suche in einem einzelnen Archiv, möglich sein, auch bei der Suche über mehrere Archive via Rechtsklick oder Tastenkombination (Strg+Alt+I) die Indexeinträge nachträglich zu ändern.

Please bring back the option to Sort By: "Comments". This allowed us to categorize and prioritize on items that are due asap more efficiently.

URL-Creator - Möglichkeit Links auf Ordner zu erzeugen
Um das Portfolio des URL-Creator zu vervollständigen, sollte es möglich sein URLs auf Inhalte zu erzeugen, die als Ordner strukturiert wurden und bisher leider nur über den Webclient direkt zu erreichen sind.

Allow only data records in file cabinet
As it is now common practise to use file cabinets as hidden databases for workflow assignments (i.e. Approval Matrix, Supplier List, etc.) it would be good to have an option in the file cabinet settings to prevent users from accidentally storing documents into those cabinets.
In many cases the local DocuWare Admins who need to maintain those file cabinets are normal users and therefore may make mistakes...
