Automatically redact zone on document when importing a document.
In some cases a customer would like to automatically redact a zone on a group of documents during the import. This could very easily be an option in the Barcode & Forms Module.

Vom Archiv direkt zur Aufgabe
Es wäre sehr zeitsparend, wenn unsere Mitarbeiter direkt von einem Beleg in eine noch nicht abschließend bearbeitete Aufgabe springen könnten, ohne lange unter "alle Aufgaben" nach dem Vorgang suchen zu müssen.

Prompt to save when index entries have been changed
When using the viewer with index entries, any changes are not saved unless you press the save button.
If you close the document without pressing the save button you are NOT prompted to "Save Changes".This could cause problems for users if they
1. Open the Document
2. Change the index entries (but not press save)
3. Make an annotation on the document
4. Close the Document
They would be prompted to “Save Changes” this could be very misleading, as they would think they are saving all changes and not just the annotation.4 votesThank you for your idea. Passwords should not be repeated in in the last 12, 60 day cycles.
A user should not be able to alternate between the same two passwords.

Append document in front from file system
Currently it is only possible to append documents in front of another, already archived document by having the documents which you want to append in a basket or filecabinet.
We would like to have the possibility to use a file from filesystem or simply a stream instead of uploading the file to a basket first.

Workflow-Historie auf eine Spalte reduzieren
Momentan ist es ja so, dass in der Workflow-Historie für jeden Workflow ein separater Reiter erzeugt wird.
Aus unserer Sicht wäre es übersichtlicher dies auf einen Reiter zu beschränken, in dem die Schritte chronologisch geordnet sind und in den Details dann steht, um welchen Workflow/ welche Version es sich handelt.
Wenn man mit mehreren komplexen Workflows für einen Beleg arbeitet kann man aufgrund der Vielzahl an Reitern und Schritten schnell die Übersichtlichkeit verlieren, wann welcher Schritt ausgeführt wurde und wie diese in Abhängigkeit stehen.

DW-Desktop eine zusätzliche Benachrichtungs-Option für neue Aufgaben (WF) bekommen
Der DW-Desktop (oder etwas alternatives) sollte eine zusätzliche Benachrichtungs-Option neben der E-Mail-Benachrichtigung bekommen.
DW-Desktop könnte z.B. ein Blinken oder ein rotes Fähnchen für den verbundenen User im SYSTRAY anzeigen, sobald neue Workflow-Manager-Aufgaben für diesen Nutzer hereinkommen4 votes -

A notice of being checked out is only shown if a subsequent viewer attempts to edit the document. A notice should also be provided that the document is check out even if they are only viewing it. Otherwise the user viewing the document is assuming that it is the most current version and may take action accordingly not knowing that they should actually wait and view the document later after any…

Using Connect to Outlook auto populate index fields from attachments
When a user has Connect to Outlook and they go to store an email with an attachment, it would be nice if the user could open the attachment and auto-populate the index fields with matching fields from the attachment.

Dokumentenspezifische Stempel in Abhängigkeit der Feldrechte. D.h. Stempel nur Sichtbar wenn Rechte für zu ändernde Felder bestehen.
In Version 5.1c und früheren Versionen wurden nur Stempel angezeigt, für die man die nötigen Rechte besaß. D.h. es konnte über Archivprofile mit Indexfilter je Feld festgelegt werden, ob der Benutzer diese Felder ändern darf.
Sobald ein Stempel Indexbegriffe ändern würde, wofür der Benutzer nicht die Rechte hat, dann wurde dieser Stempel nicht angezeigt.
Dies wünsche ich mir wieder.
Aktuell ist es so, dass alle Stempel sichtbar sind und erst eine Fehlermeldung kommt, wenn der Stempel gesetzt wird, dass der Benutzer nicht die erforderlichen Rechte hat. Und dies verwirrt den Benutzer und macht ihn unsicher, wann welcher Stempel zu setzen…4 votes -
NTLM Authentifizierung in der Mobil APP.
Gewünscht ist eine NTLM Authentifizierung in der Mobil APP, damit durchgehend ein Passwort und evtl. SSO für Tablets verwendet werden kann.

Konfigurationen besser anzeigen
Die Konfigurationen (DWPrinter, DWImport, ...) sollten auch gruppiert werden können oder mit einer Suchfunktion verbunden werden.
Hat ein Kunde sehr viele Konfigurationen, muss man sehr lange scrollen, um auf eine Konfiguration zu kommen.

Create a cleanup tool which will allow the user to clean up documents which are stuck in pending
Create a "Clean Up" tool which will allow the user to clean up the client machines for those documents that get "stuck" in processing. Much like cleaning up cache, we need to clean up pending documents that are stuck, restart services, and restart automatically. A tool would make this easier for the user to do this from their own desktop.

Standardprofile nicht automatisch einfügen
Ab DocuWare 6.8 werden Standardprofile zu den Archiven hinzugefügt, um die Administration zu vereinfachen.
Dies ist bei bestehenden Archiven mit vielen Archivprofilen lästig und macht es unübersichtlich. Es sollte auswählbar sein, ob ein Archiv in der "vereinfachten Verwaltung" teilnimmt oder nicht und damit diese Profile erhält.4 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee.

Improve Auto Indexing fault tolerance on error
Auto Indexing will go into error state after first seeing connection loss and not re-attempt without manual starting process from DocuWare Administration Utility.
Allowing for another attempt after a set time-frame would greatly help managing this module as re-starting these processes can become very time intensive.4 votesThank you for your idea. Kopieren der Indexierungsfelder beim Ablegen über connect-to-Outlook
Beim Ablegen von Dokumenten über connect-to-Outlook kann man innerhalb der dort geöffneten Indexierungsfelder nicht mehr via Rechtsklick die Einträge kopieren, sondern nur über die Tastenkombinationen "STRG-C" und "STRG+V". In der alten Version ging dies noch.
Evtl. kann man dies wieder einführen?4 votes
