Unterschiedliche Absendemailadresse für Workflows
Aktuell ist es zwar möglich mehrere SMTP (Absendemailadressen) in DocuWare zu hinterlegen - allerdings greift dann immer nur eine Mailadresse für alles.
Somit ist es z.B. nicht möglich, direkt im Workflow unterschiedliche E-Mailadresse "von" zu hinterlegen (z.B. wenn Mails nach außen aus einem Workflow versendet werden sollen).
Es wäre wirklich super, wenn es möglich wäre, damit die Workflows auch übergreifend genutzt werden könnten.13 votes -

Extracting Additional values from Documents already stored in the File Cabinet
In this use case, business has to reconcile a large set of documents using a reference on a document that was not previously indexed, It would be nice to have a feature where we could extract additional information from documents already stored in a file cabinet, without having the manually find/index the documents, or downloading the documents and reindex via processing files (as this may cause issues if the solution is linked to an ERP with automated workflows)

Document Fields for User-Level use
Currently fields are at Document Level, changes made to these fields are visible to all Users,
In the case, where a user is working through a large query spanning multiple documents, it would be nice if we could avail a user-only fields relevant to that user only, where they could add a comment, or simply flag the document in a result list, then later be able to search/filter on these user fields. Values for User A would not be seen by User B, and vice versa. Once done, have the ability to mass reset flags in a result list.

CRLF Delimited Value Search against a search field
Sometimes we are presented a list of Invoices / POD's we need to search for, Using the current method you have to separate the values with OR, ie. Doc1 OR Doc2 OR.... (upto 7) It would be nice to paste in a CRLF delimited list into the search box for 2~200+ items

Custom select lists are missing from the dialogs when copying file cabinets.
When using a xml file to copy a file cabinet, the custom select lists assignments are missing from the dialogs. 'The user can only use entries from the select list to set the field' check box remains checked though. The fields with only the default select list are copied correctly.
So the admin has to go through each store dialog, and the index dialogs on each result list and task list, to fix this bug. If a dialog is forgotten, then the user is unable to enter anything in those index fields.

Perform Workflow Task Items in System Emails
A fantastic functionality would be for recipients of workflow task emails to be able to select an option for that task directly from the system's email. Many users are able to receive and respond to emails even though it could quite some time before they're able to access a computer. In a large environment having all required users install the mobile app isn't always practical and with table fields being part of many workflows the mobile app is out anyways.

Ich schlage vor, dass das Dokumentenverwaltung auch für direkt angebundene E-Mail Konten zur Verfügung steht.
Aktuell kann man die Dokumentenverarbeitung nur bei Connect to Outlook einsetzen. Wäre schön, wenn dies auch für direkt angebundenen E-Mail Postfächer funktionieren würde, sprich bei Connect to Mail.

Search on Forms Tab
Please give us a spot to search for the form name on the Forms Tab. Being able to sort by name and save would also be helpful. For those of us with many forms, it can be really difficult to find the needed form on this tab.

Change where the SID is stored for Desktop Apps when using the Cloud version
Would it be possible to change the “secure” user folder area that contains the SID folders from %programdata%\Docuware\Desktop\Secure and move that into a user area maybe under %appdata%\Roaming? The reason to do this is because the user data ends up being placed outside of areas that can be virtualized, leading to the docuware software not retaining the connection when utilizing fresh desktops.

Workflow Indexfelder mit Feldname aus Ergebnisdialog anzeigen
Ich würde mir wünschen, dass im Workflow in den Indexfeldern die Feldnamen aus dem Ergebnisdialog zusätzlich angezeigt werden. Wenn man im Workflow auf ein Indexfeld zugreift, dann wird dort der Name aus der Datenbank angezeigt, selbst wenn im Ergebnisdialog ein anderer Feldname im Dialog hinterlegt ist.
Dies führt zu Aufwand beim Konfigurieren von Workflows oder der Fehlersuche, wenn hier nach verschiedenen Begriffen gesucht werden muss. In der Workflow-Aufgabe lässt sich eine Ergebnisliste verwenden, auf diese Ergebnisliste könnten die Anzeigen im Workflow zugreifen und hier in einer separaten Spalte neben der Datenbankbezeichnung den Begriff aus der Ergebnisliste verwenden.

Allow disable of Merge Layers in the result dialog.
Add the Merge Layers as an option to enable/disable in the result dialog result list functions. Other features such as print, edit, etc that change the document are listed here but not merge layers.

Select a table as required in a workflow task
Currently you can mark fields of a table as required but it allows you to confirm the task without writing any fields, to avoid this you have to validate that the counter of a field in the table is greater than 0. It would be interesting if the tables in the workflow have an option as that table is required and the user has to fill data, thus avoiding having to configure additional validation.

Autoindex Container/Menü vergrößern
Ich würde mir wünschen, dass der Web Container des Autoindex größer wäre. Gerade bei längeren Namen muss man immer die einzelnen Spalten verschieben um die Bezeichnungen richtig lesen zu können. Wenn der Container größer wäre, dann hätte man dieses Problem nicht.

Export der angelegten Benutzer
Ich würde mir eine Möglichkeit wünschen die im System angelegten Benutzer als CSV Export aus DocuWare zu exportieren. Gerade bei Cloud Kunden mit vielen Usern ist es sehr aufwändig dem Kunden eine Übersicht zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Move "Touch mode" button all the way down PLEASE!
Please move the "Touch mode" button under or above "Help and info". It happens every day that I click on that and in the last 2 years I never used it and 99% of all our users dont use it as well.

add comments to versions
Add the ability to add comments to versions with automatic versioning. Currently, the system automatically adds a comment "Automatic Version Management". We often send documents to clients and would like to have the ability to change the comment to "sent to client on *** day" or something similar

Notifications for web basket / Benachrichtigungen für Briefkorb
New documents for DocuWare arrive in web baskets. Thus web baskets need to be monitored permantly by employees to index and store new documents and to start followup processes in DW without loosing any time.
Notifications for web baskets would help a lot to increase productivity and to decrease manual effort of employees for permanent monitoring of several web baskets.
E.g.
* New document arrived in web basket XYBasically same functionallity as for archives.

Dokumente über WEC Ablage Versionieren
Bei der Ablage über den WEC (Speichern unter / Drag & Drop bzw. Copy & Paste) könnte eine Prüfung erfolgen, ob im Ziel-"Ordner" bereits eine Datei mit dem gleichen Namen existiert. Ist dies der Fall, wäre es wünschenswert, dass eine Auswahl erscheint
