Digital handwritten signature on DocuWare mobile client.
Having people sign with a digital signature from IPAD or Android pads for document process:
Most of time people will sign the business document on the paper, especially invoices and on site service document. We should be able to open documents on smartphones and ipads(including android pads), put a stamp on the document from these device and ask for customer to sign on the document in DocuWare mobile client.

Open Workflow Task from a Search/Result List
Since there is no way to filter a Workflow, it would be nice to Open the current activity from a Search/Result List. For example, you can open the Workflow History, but you should be able to take the next activity

Right to left interface when switch to Arabic
Arabic language is right to left. therefore when switching to Arabic, clients will expect to have right to left interface and not only to translate words.

Externe Links aus Ergebnisliste aufrufen
Wir benötigen für verschiedene (Partner-)Projekte die Möglichkeit direkt aus der Ergebnisliste einen externen Link in einem neuen Browser-Fenster/-Tab aufzurufen. Wir würden damit z.B. gerne von einem Dokumenteneintrag direkt in den zugehörigen Vorgang in den Web Client des ERP-Systems abspringen. Den Link könnte man bei der Ablage des Dokuments aus dem ERP-System direkt mit in ein DocuWare-Indexfeld ablegen (z.B. http://myerp/invoices?id=12345) oder per Auto-Index nachindexieren. Der letzte Punkt geht auch heute schon, aber es erscheint eben nur die URL und keine echte Verlinkung. Technisch bräuchte man dafür "nur" die Möglichkeit, den Inhalt eines Textfelds bei der Anzeige als externen Link zu…

Leerseiten entfernen in DocuWare Import Konfiguration
Es soll möglich sein, dass DocuWare automatisch die leerseiten entfernt. also genau so wie bei Scanner App soll es auch Möglich sein das die Import Konfiguration das automatisch macht.

Memo field in Workflow Manager
At the moment you can add a comment with max. 255 characters. In some reasons this is not enough, and it would be great if also the memo field can be used in the Workflow Manager.

Anmerkung mit User Informationen
Wenn eine Anmerkung auf ein Dokument gesetzt wird (kein Stempel), ist nicht nachvollziehbar, wer diese aufgebracht hat. Somit bieten die Anmerkungsoptionen keinen Vorteil gegenüber einer Notiz auf einem Papierdokument.
Warum nicht wie in Word oder im Acrobat Reader auf dem Viewer anzeigen lassen, welcher User welche Anmerkung aufgebracht hat? Über ein Tooltip oder eine Einblendfunktion?
Damit ermöglichen wir eine viel bessere Userbility, da ohne lästigem Suchen ermittelt werden kann, wer eine Anmerkung aufgebracht hat. Diesen Kollegen kann man dann bei einer Rückfrage gezielt ansprechen.

Ability to a customer to convert their pre-printed forms into digital forms but not have to manually capture all of the field information when it is already available from a 3rd party data source.

Bring back the "Keep Entries" checkbox on the storage dialogs in 6.6.
I see where we can choose to Keep Entries in the drop down settings box, but it no longer resides as a check box on the storage dialog. Big time waster to have to click that gear and then keep entries each time I wasn't to store multiple documents.

Watermarking of documents
Would like the possibility of setting DocuWare so any/chosen documents that are downloaded/printed/emailed contain a customisable watermark with the companies name/logo

Stop forcing alphabetical sorting of Select Lists.
We can create Select Lists grouped and arraigned in the order that makes sense to the user. But DocuWare insists on resorting the list in alphabetical order. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS!
Now we have to create Select Lists with numeric prefixes to force our sort order. Then the users have to memorize a complete list of prefixes, to allow rapid data entry. They should be able to just start typing the description and have it appear, but be able to pick from a sensibly ordered list if the they need help.

Checkbox statt Auswahlliste
Bei der Ablage/Suche wäre es sinnvoll nur eine Checkbox zu definieren anstatt ja/nein in der Auswahlliste auszuwählen/zu erfassen

Workflow Designer : Request for a new activity “Stamp”
We would really use an activity “Stamp” which would allow us to insert stamp without using a Task (i.e. inserting the stamp automatically on the document). For instance we would use a Task in a loop until some specific variables as set, with condition, and we would like to add a stamp only when the loop finish but not each time the task is repeated.

Der Kunde nutzt im Workflow einen Kontierungsstempel um mehrere Koststellen, Konten und Beträge zu einer Rechnung hinzuzufügen.
Um es einfach zu gestallten, wurde mehrere Formularfelder in der Entscheidung "Kontieren" erstellt.

Betrag2usw..
Wenn eine Rechnung jetzt nur eine Kostenstelle hat, werden die Formularfeldnamen der leeren Formularfelder (Kst2, Konto2, Betrag2) trotzdem mit auf das Dokument aufgebracht. Dies ist in diesem Falle eine Platzverschwendung auf dem Dokument.
Mann sollte entscheiden können, welches Formularfeld auf das Dokument beim Stempeln aufgetragen wird und welches nicht.

Sind Hyperlinks in einem Dokument hinterlegt, so sollten diese im Viewer auch interaktiv angewählt werden können
In Dokumenten unseres Management-Systems (WORD, EXCEL, PDF) sind oft Hyperlinks hinterlegt. Hier wäre es schön, wenn man diese auch direkt im Viewer anwählen könnte.

Add Security assertion markup language (SAML) Support
To be able to integrate DocuWare in an architecture where SSO is implement with SALM V2 protocol , DocuWare needs to implement such protocol.
This would be a major improvement for On Premise and also Cloud architecture to provide simple and standardize way for SSO service
For instance the Azure Architecture supports SAML 2.0

We are planning to implement Single Sign-On with Azure AD in DocuWare Cloud based on Open-ID Connect for the next release of DocuWare

Connect to Outlook - Auswahl welche Anlagen gespeichert werden
Kunden bekommen oft Emails von Lieferanten wo gleich mehrere einzelne Aufträge mitgeschickt werden. Diese Attachments sind dann pro Projektnummer einzeln ab zu legen. Hierzu wäre es gut, wenn man in DW die Möglichkeit hätte aus zu wählen welches Attachment jetzt gespeichert werden sollte.

Allerdings bietet Connect to Outlook und Connect to mail ab der DocuWare Version 7.3 die Möglichkeit Anhänge getrennt von einander abzulegen. Sie können damit eine Mail mit fünf Anhängen in sechs Dokumente in DocuWare aufteilen.Über einen Rechtsklick auf den Anhang in Outlook können ausserdem jeweils einzelne Anhänge abgelegt werden
