Add manual entry feature to Smart Connect
In our environment, the OCR portion of Smart Connect has proven to be extremely unreliable. We would like to request a feature where you can enter a Smart Connect key combination and a dialog window pops up into which you can manually enter a search term or phrase (such as a patient ID) and have a search performed using that term.

Mainly because there will be new funtionality with the next DocuWare Version 7.4 in Smart Connect and I believe this functionality will help you solving your desired use case. There will be a functionality where Smart Connect will not rely on OCR but search for the element you have highlighted in the software.

Make Emailing a Doc Available Without the Desktop Apps
I install a LOT of DW Desktop Apps only to get the Email a Document function. Would be great to have this made a part of the base web client experience. I would expect that there are probably some pretty good technical considerations to something like this, but would really be great. The web client is just so nice, and adding this functionality would allow a very large group of users to be fully functional with no local installs.

Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.Currently browsers do not allow to open an email application with an attachment. That´s why we need a local application to download the document and then attaching the document to the email.

WEC: Möglichkeit zum Lösen vom Schnellzugriff (ohne Verlust sämtlicher Einträge im Schnellzugriff)
Über den Windows Explorer ist es möglich, DocuWare-„Ordner“ oder Briefkörbe dem Windows Schnellzugriff hinzuzufügen. So kann man beispielsweise den „Ordner“ eines aktuellen Projektes dem Schnellzugriff anheften. Diese Möglichkeit ist grundsätzlich gut und unbedingt beizubehalten.
Wenn man dann jedoch einen Ordner oder Briefkorb aus dem Schnellzugriff wieder entfernen möchte ist dies aktuell leider nicht praktikabel möglich. Bei Rechtsklick auf den Ordner im Schnellzugriff fehlt der notwendige Eintrag „Von Schnellzugriff lösen“ im sich öffnenden Kontextmenü (oder der Windows Explorer stürtzt ab und schließt sich ohne Fehlermeldung).
Vom Support wurde mir als „Lösung“ für das Entfernen vom Schnellzugriff genannt:

Globale Variablen mit Inhalt von einem WF in den nächsten kopieren
Ich habe oft Workflows die nach der Entscheidung / Aufgabenbearbeitung eines Mitarbeiters weiter im Workflow an andere Benutzer gehen etc.
Jedoch habe ich auch schon mal Fälle, bei denen durch eine Entscheidung ein weiterer Workflow starten muss, da ich nicht abwarten kann, dass die nächste Instanz erst beendet wird und es kann auch nicht parallel im selben WF laufen. Jedoch muss ich im neuen WF alle Globalen Variablen erst mal befüllen, da die benötigten Infos nicht in ausreichender Zahl in meinen Indexfeldern stehen.
Schön wäre es, wenn man aufeinanderfolgende WF´s erstellen könnte. D.h. die Workflow-Felder automatisch aus einem zuvor erstellen…9 votes -
Vererbung der Spaltensortierung in der Ordnerstruktur optional machen
Aktuell ist es so, dass die Spaltensortierung in einer Ordnerstruktur sich von der ersten bis zur letzten Ebene immer durchzieht. Eine Veränderung auf der unteren Ebene, dem User da plötzlich andere Werte eher interessieren als auf oberen Ebenen, wird sich automatisch auf die obere Ebene auswirken.
Es wäre schön, wenn man je Ordnerebene den User die Möglichkeit gibt, die Spalten individuell zu sortieren ohne dass sich das automatisch auf andere Ebenen überträgt. Im besten Fall macht man diese "Vererbung" optional.

Aktivität "E-Mail senden" mit mehreren E-Mail Adressen funktioniert nicht
Die Aktivität "E-Mail senden" kann zurzeit keine E-Mail an mehrere per Semikolon getrennte E-Mail Adressen versenden. Daher wäre es gut wenn es eine Trennzeichenoption (evtl. frei definierbar) beim hinzufügen einer Variablen als Empfänger gibt.
In unseren Fall haben wir eine Variable die das E-Mail Feld in unserem ERP System abfragt, in diesem Feld stehen mehrere E-Mail Adressen per Semikolon getrennt drin, in dem Workflow wird dann eine E-Mail an die, in der Variable hinterlegte, E-Mail Adresse gesendet.
Stehen da mehr als eine drin, dann verweigert DW hier den Dienst.9 votes -

Indexeinträge ändern in Suche über mehrere Archive
Es sollte, genau wie bei der Suche in einem einzelnen Archiv, möglich sein, auch bei der Suche über mehrere Archive via Rechtsklick oder Tastenkombination (Strg+Alt+I) die Indexeinträge nachträglich zu ändern.

some way to filter the size of the scanned files
To be able to indicate in the filing cabinet a maximum size of document that can be archived, we would like to be able to control the size of the documents that are inside the filing cabinets.

Conditional Required Fields
Now a field is required or not.
In our case, HR needs to store a document and can choose to index through NAME, ID, EMPLOYEE ID... but I cannot make all required because it would defeat the idea of efficiency, but they should be allowed to fill AT LEAST 1 of the 3 to be valid.
Some sort of validation, that would allow only 1 of the 3 required fields to be indexed..??? just ideas...By the way, only 1 data field is required for us, since we have autoindex on the back fulfilling the rest of the fields. This…

Show document Count in Baskets by default
Very simple to show number of documents in each basket by default, instead of having to do a mouseover... in fact it is more interesting to view document count than size.
Furthermore, a summary with the total size and document count on top of the page would be great!

Wenn man ein Dokument druckt/ herunterlädt wäre es gut, wenn man dabei auch direkt die Indexdaten mit ausgeben lassen könnte.

Import via .dwcontrol - numerische Zahlen mit . oder , prüfen und ggf. ändern
Wir haben mithilfe eines Scriptes Daten aus alten Archiven, welche unterschiedliche Spaltennamen, Reihenfolgen, etc. im Gegensatz zum neuen Archiv besitzen, in das neue eingepflegt. Hierbei wurden für die .dwcontrol Werte die Werte vom SQL Server übernommen.
Über Nacht haben wir nun > 1000 Dokumente eingepflegt.
Dabei ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Werte bei Spalten vom Typ Numerisch auf einmal um zwei Nullen erweiter wurden.
Sprich, aus 123,45 wurde 12.345,00.Nach kurzer Recherche, scheint das Problem an den Importwerten zu liegen. Hier wurde nämlich vom SQL Server der Wert im amerikanischen Stile, 123.45 ,übernommen.
