Clip Documents Directly in Results
Hello, I would love to be able to clip documents directly in the results list. Currently, we must check documents to our tray, clip them together, than store them again. This of course leaves the individual pages behind, which we must manually delete or mark for deletion. It would be enormously helpful to be able to clip them together within the results list. Just shift or ctrl select the documents, right-click, and clip. I can't describe how much time this would save our company. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Es sollte in DocuWare Forms möglich sein

Every error message should be searchable. If I type a DW error message and don't get any results, I just do no understand that.

Place Hoders for Signatures
When opening a document that needs stamping/signing, it would be great if stamp go automatically go to a predefined location on the document (signature field).

Possibility to call Specific players for specific files
Possibility to call an external application for the consultation of specific files, for ex. an .swf file must be open by a flash player.
When we try to open this kind of file, the viewer calls the program that was defined in advance.2 votesThank you for your idea. Automate workflow tasks
Currently tasks require a user to make a decision on them. However there are cases where an external system or DB might be updated and having it sync in to a workflow task to move an item would save the user from having to do it manually. For example, an item is on the approval task list and a user approves the deal in another system that can update an index field in DW. That update causes the item to be approved and move to another task for a different user.

Workflow Manager: Dokumente per E-Mail versenden mit Dokumentnamen
Beim Versand von z.B. Rechnungen über den Workflow-Manager sollte es möglich sein, den Inhalt des Archivfeldes mit der Option "Dokumentname" als Benennung z.B: des Emailanhangs nehmen zu können.

Fortlaufende Nummernvergabe über WF
Im WFM wäre es hilfreich, wenn konfigurierbar wäre, dass wenn ein neues Dokument mit bestimmten Indexeinträgen abgelegt wird, eine fortlaufende Nummer in ein Indexfeld geschrieben wird.
Hierzu sollte es dann weiterhin möglich sein einen Anfangs- und Endwert festzulegen und zu bestimmen, was bei Erreichen des Endwertes getan werden soll (z. B. erneut ab Anfangswert vergeben).
Dies wäre z. B. eine sehr nützliche Funktion bei der Vergabe von Buchungsnummern für Eingangsrechnungen.
Wir haben dies derzeit über einen Trigger in der SQL-Datenbank.
Eleganter wäre es jedoch natürlich, wenn es eine solche Funktion direkt geben würde5 votes -
Allow Documents To Be Placed in the Tray In The Order In Which They Were Selected
When adding files to a tray from a result view or importing, the documents will not keep the order in which they entered the tray.
This was a feature of the Windows client. They were added to the Basket Synchronously. With the web client they are added Asynchronously and if a larger file takes more processing in the queue it will go in later. Also the modification time seems to be based on minutes rather than the "milliseconds since Epoch to date". This also throws them out of order.7 votesWe are currently not considering your idea.

Right to left interface when switch to Arabic
Arabic language is right to left. therefore when switching to Arabic, clients will expect to have right to left interface and not only to translate words.

Tastenkombination für Kopieren nach... im Briefkorb
Der alte Client hatte dafür die Tastenkombi Strg + K
Im neuen Client muss man dafür erst rechts klicken, die Option suchen und dann den gewünschten Briefkorb wählen.
Das ist sehr mühselig und zeitaufwändig wenn man das öfters machen muss.22 votes -
Klammern von Dokumenten, egal wo
Es sollte möglich sein, Dokumente, egal wo sie liegen, zu klammern. Hintergrund: Es sollten zwei bereits archivierte Dokumente geklammert werden. Dies funktionierte jedoch nicht. Das zweite Dokument musste erst in einen Briefkorb verschoben werden und konnte dann angeklammert werden.

'Store Automatically' function should use dialog settings such as 'Fixed Entries' and others
When 'Store Automatically' is used from a Tray, all dialog settings such as 'Fixed Entries' and 'Predefined Entries' fields and 'Automatic Numbering' are ignored.
Having the latter work when using 'Store Automatically' would be especially useful when Intelligent Indexing used in the Tray, and all 'green' documents are stored using this option.2 votesThank you for your idea. Stamp assigned to a user overrides no 'can edit index entries' right
If a user is not granted 'Can Edit Index Entries' FC right, but is assigned a stamp that changes index fields - this should work, so the user can use the stamp, but still can't edit index entries via info dialog.
Currently, if user has no 'Can Edit Index Entries' but has 'Apply new stamp' - the stamp can't be applied if it changes indices.2 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Reihenfolge der Ausdrucke beibehalten
Es soll sichergestellt werden, dass Druckaufträge nacheinander verarbeitet und an den physikalischen Drucker weitergeleitet werden. FIFO Prinzip!
Aktuell werden Ausdrucke durcheinander ins Archiv und am physikalischen Drucker gedruckt.25 votes -
Anzeige von Bildern aus Apple-Mails
Wenn man Mails von Applegeräten über Connect to Outlook ablegt, werden die Bilder, die im Body enthalten sind, nicht angezeigt.

Einzelablage bei mehreren Attachements im Email.
Unser Kunde erhält in einem Email mehrere Rechnungen, die via C2Mail direkt ins Archiv abgelegt werden. Hier startet sofort der Workflow. Jedoch soll für jede Rechnung im Anhang ein eigener Workflow gestartet werden. Hier wäre eine Lösung ohne vorher über den Briefkorb zu gehen und zu trennen, wünschenswert. Wäre auch super, wenn dies auch für C2Outlook realisiert werden kann.

Bei bereits archivierten Dokumenten sollte es möglich sein die Reihenfolge der Dateien bzw. Anhänge nachträglich zu ändern.

Statistik Tool für z.B. Admins, Controller, GF´s
Folgender Kundenwunsch wurde geäußert:
Übersichtliches und für jeden Client einsetzbares Statistik - Tool.
Folgende Infos wären für den Kunden interessant:Zum Beispiel:
- Menge an Dokumenten im Archiv
- Welcher User hat wie viele Dokumente im Briefkorb
- Restgröße des Archivraums (Interessant bei DW Business)
- Wie viele Dokumente des Typs "X" sind im Archiv
- Welche Dokumententypen sind im Archiv vertreten
- Wie viele Dokumente hat User "X" abgelegt
- Wie viele Lizenzen sind aktuell belegt
- Welche User sind "online"
usw.
22 votesEinige der Informationen können heute schon sehr einfach über SQL-eigene Reporting Tools abgefragt und dargestellt werden.
Die Idee eines universellen Statistik-Tools wurde in unsere Ideen Datenbank übernommen.
