Create a cleanup tool which will allow the user to clean up documents which are stuck in pending
Create a "Clean Up" tool which will allow the user to clean up the client machines for those documents that get "stuck" in processing. Much like cleaning up cache, we need to clean up pending documents that are stuck, restart services, and restart automatically. A tool would make this easier for the user to do this from their own desktop.

Standardprofile nicht automatisch einfügen
Ab DocuWare 6.8 werden Standardprofile zu den Archiven hinzugefügt, um die Administration zu vereinfachen.
Dies ist bei bestehenden Archiven mit vielen Archivprofilen lästig und macht es unübersichtlich. Es sollte auswählbar sein, ob ein Archiv in der "vereinfachten Verwaltung" teilnimmt oder nicht und damit diese Profile erhält.4 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee.

Improve Auto Indexing fault tolerance on error
Auto Indexing will go into error state after first seeing connection loss and not re-attempt without manual starting process from DocuWare Administration Utility.
Allowing for another attempt after a set time-frame would greatly help managing this module as re-starting these processes can become very time intensive.4 votesThank you for your idea. Autoscan/Scan hotkey
I feel like it would be a good idea to have the option to allow the scanner to automatically scan documents into Docuware when it detects that there are papers placed into the paper tray, or maybe even allow the user to assign a hotkey on the keyboard that will start the scanning process.

Indexfelder zurücksetzen
Bei Ablage von Dokumenten per Platform SDK muss man Indexfelder als leer übergeben können. Ebenso brauchen wir unbedingt die Möglichkeiten einmal gesetzte Indexfelder per Update wieder auf leer "zurücksetzen" zu können. Letzteres lässt sich im Augenblick nur für String-Felder realisieren. Int, Decimal und DateTime-Felder können einmal gesetzt nicht wieder zurückgesetzt werden. Das ist zur Korrektur unbedingt notwendig!

Add tool to allow use to create their own signatures just like they are able to create their own baskets.
Allow users to create their own signatures much like they can create their own baskets without having to go through the DocuWare Administrator.

Create a shortcut key to enable the filter check mark in select lists
in 6.6 I can fill out a store dialog only using the keyboard, but if I need to check the filter on a select list it requires me to use the mouse as well. This is slowing down data entry considerably. Please put a shortcut key in to enable the filter check box on a select list.

Keep entires in dw Import
It would be helpful If DW Import supported keep entries when processing a batch of documents. The use case for this is when a user scans a batch of documents with a batch separation sheet and each document in the batch would have its own document separation sheet. The batch sheet would would map to field (like batch number) and the document sheet would contain document level information. I have seen in other software this can be accomplished by using keep entries (from previous document) when processing a batch in DW import.

Show the clipped documents in a left pane like the file explorer, to get a better and faster overview.
It would be an anvantage if overview in the left pane,could give the user an overview of clipped files just like a a windows path display. ?
I have made a suggestion on how that overview could be incorporated in Docuware

Es wäre voteilhaft wenn es für das Datei-Feld im Viewer genau so ein Eingabe-Feld gibt, wie für die Seitenanzahl.

Einführung neuer Variablen für Filter und Aufgabenlisten
Ein Kunde will via TaskManager einen ER-Workflow anlegen.
Der ER-Workflow hat 5 Schritte und läuft pro Abteilung (Gruppe) gleich ab.
Es gibt 7 Abteilungen, d.h. es müssen 5 x 7 Aufgabenlisten angelegt werden.Unser Wunsch ist es, dass es neben der bereits verfügbaren Variable "Currentuser…"
auch eine Variable "CurrentGroup" und "CurrentRole" gibt.Damit ließe sich die gleiche Anforderung mit nur 5 Aufgabenlisten abbilden,
was sicherlich alle DocuWare-User freuen würde.1 voteWenn ein Benutzer Teil von mehreren Gruppen oder Rollen ist, gibt es keine eindeutige Zuweisung mehr. Diese eindeutige Zuweisung ist aber notwendig, um das entsprechend anzeigen zu können.

Es kommt immer mal wieder vor, das in einem Feld in dem Text erkannt werden soll zusätzliche Zeichen eingefügt werden. Hier wäre es von Vorteil wenn man für ein einzelnes Feld festlegen könnte, das eine Auflistung von Zeichen nicht vorkommen dürfen. Erkennt die Texterkennung eines der "verbotenen" Zeichen, soll die Filterfunktion diese Zeichen aus dem erkannten String entfernen.

Create a new field type that auto populates date/time and/or user.
New type of field that is perhaps connected to or monitors another field like a fixed select list. When one of the selections are made it records the date and modifying user. Each selection can record in a different field. For example when the "Status Field" is set to "approved" it can auto populate the date on a field labeled "Approved Date." There are other ways of doing this but if it was a built in function to a new field type it would perhaps cut down on the amount of fields needed and workflow settings.

Vertretungslisten und Vertretungsregeln in diesem WF-Dialog besser unterschieden werden
Eine winzige Kleinigkeit: Erst nachdem ich meine Vertretungsregel in eine Vertretungsliste zugewiesen hatte, konnte ich in diesem WF-Dialog eine Zuweisung machen - Es ist nicht 100%ig eindeutig verständlich, wie ich finde - s.Bild

Emulate PCL Printing through Docuware Printer
If a client has a program that requires a PCL driver, it would be nice if the Docuware Printer could emulate PCL printing.

Add scripting for field values on Import and Smart Connect
Please add the ability to enhance extracted (OCR) data from documents during Import, Smart Connect and Printer. Having the ability to massage the data read (replace l with 1, z with 2, etc...) with vbscript or javascript would greatly enhance functionality.

Allow user to set additional preferences for DocuWare Viewer pop out window
Would like to be able to have the DocuWare Viewer open in same window while indexing and in new window while searching. Currently, the only options are "Always show DocuWare Viewer in same window" and "Open DocuWare Viewer in a new window." These options should be expanded.
While it is handy to view the document immediately next to the empty indexing fields, having the document appear next to search results is cumbersome. The crowded window means the user has to scroll left and right to check indexed information. Since the page resets its alignment when a user sorts a search…

Volltextfeld für Aufgabenlisten
In Aufgabenlisten in der Administration hat man nicht die Möglichkeit, das Volltextfeld als Suchkriterium zu verwenden.
Das sollte geändert werden, vorallem da es seit 6.7 möglich ist, dieses Feld in über die Suchmaske definierten Aufgabenlisten zu benutzen.3 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Ausgecheckte Dokumente verbergen
Wichtig wäre es,dass von einem Benutzer ausgecheckte Dokumente von einem anderen User nicht gesehen werden, bzw. es eine solche Option gibt, dass andere User diese nicht sehen. Dies hat den Hintergrund, dass Mitarbeiter dann quasi doppelt eine Aufgabe innerhalb ihres Unternehmens bearbeiten. Denn sie sehen das Dokument. Also nicht die Arbeit im DW unbedingt, sondern auch andere Tätigkeiten, die mit dem Dokument im Zusammenhang stehen. Ja man kann erkennen wenn das Dokument ausgechekt ist, aber nur marginal und viele viele User erkennen das nicht, das links der Button ein wenig grau ist. Diese Möglichkeit bestand in einer der früheren Versionen…
