3. Bei einem Update den "DWSERVICES" wieder herausholen

   Es wäre wirklich sehr schön, wenn wir oder der Kunde wieder alleine Entscheiden kann, wie der User der für das starten der Dienste benötigt wird, heißt. Bei einer Neuinstallation kann ich das ja noch verstehen, aber bei jeden Update, jedesmal den Namen ändern... Warum kann man den Namen nicht einfach auslesen?

4. Make it possible to revert URL Integration encryption / function requirements

   DocuWare 7.1 introduces a breaking change to URL Integration that login is now only possible with encrypted URL’s. The scope of functionality with this method has also been limited to specific function such as result list, viewer, etc. Several years ago we paid DocuWare Professional Services a significant sum of money to develop a customization with URL Integration that essentially allows customer to be redirected and login to DocuWare Web client using a custom login page. This functionality was dubbed AD Login Customization to the user they simply put in their AD username and password on this custom DocuWare login page and they get authenticated into DocuWare.

   This customization was delivered by DocuWare at significant cost to several customers and those customers continue to pay annual support on the customization to DocuWare to this very day. Because of this breaking design change these customers are now forced to freeze their DocuWare installations at version 7.0 and there are a number of significant updates in version 7.1 they absolutely need. The updated Smart Connect, dialog specific required field settings are just a few examples of serious issues these customers have been living without for some time and are very anxious to upgrade to make their use of the product significantly better but now they cannot.

   We respect your desire to make the product more secure but particularly in cases like this where your changes are having catastrophic impact to customers who paid DocuWare for these custom solutions in the first place we think it would be far more practical to disable the functionality by default (your current 7.1 design) but also with the appropriate caveats and warnings provide an alternative to accept the security risk and turn the required functionality back on. This would seem to be the least DocuWare should do particularly when part of your organization took (and continues to take in support payments) their money to deliver these customizations.

5. Tastenkürzel sollten für User abänderbar sein

   Manche Kollegen kommen einfach mit den voreingestellten Tastenkürzel nicht zurecht. Z.B. sind gerade ältere Kollegen immer versucht, bei der Ablage mit Enter in die nächste Zeile zu springen. Stattdessen legen sie ungewollt ein Dokument ohne Metadaten ab. Im schlimmsten Fall startet dann nichtmal der Workflow.

   Es wäre daher gut, wenn man selbst Tastenkürzel bis zu einem gewissen grad beeinflussen kann. Wenn nicht auf Userebene, dann wenigstens auf Systemebene.

6. Benachrichtigungen über neue Aufgabe vom/pro User einstellbar

   Es sollte jeder User selbst einstellen können, ob er Benachrichtigungen für neue Aufgaben erhält oder nicht. Wer täglich angemeldet ist (Buchhaltung) braucht es nicht. Hingegen unser Labor muss nur eine Handvoll Rechnungen im Jahr abzeichnen. Hier wäre eine Mail sehr nützlich.

9. autoindex document tray

   Document Trays should have the ability to autoindex when documents come in and either automatically store to File Cabinet or Pre-Index the documents as they arrive. This would alleviate the need to setup folder imports for the most part.

10. Ein Dokument unter mehreren Indexen ablegen (z. B. Teilnehmerlisten)

    Wir archivieren auch Teilnehmerlisten, wie z. B. Nachweise von Sicherheitsunterweisungen in DocuWare. Der Nachweis wird eingescannt und im Personal-Archiv dann unter jedem Mitarbeiter abgelegt, was aber sehr mühselig ist. Dokument unter Mitarbeiter A ablegen, dabei im Briefkorb behalten, unter Mitarbeiter B ablegen usw. Bei mehreren hundert ist das ziemlich zeitaufwändig. Hier wäre es schön, wenn man ein Dokument direkt unter mehreren Indexeinträgen, also hier Personen (Personalnummer, Name, Vorname) ablegen könnte.

11. Create data record with forms

    I use forms for data entry all the time. I don't always need to store the document as long as I store the indexes. In forms it has the option of document format either letter or A4. Could data record be added to just store the indexes and not the form itself?

    Ein Autoindex sollte auch durch ein Archivereignis (neuer oder geänderter Datensatz) in einem anderen Archiv gestartet werden können.
    Beispiel: neue Rechnung im Archiv Rechnungen soll Änderungen im Archiv Lieferschein machen. Ereignis ist neuer Datensatz in Rechnungen zu indizierendes Archiv ist Rechnungen

14. Print the user authorisations directly from DW.

    Please add a function to print the user authorisations directly from DW. A requirement from auditors is to get that print directly from the application. As a SOX company were are audited every 3 months on authorisations set up. Auditors always ask to get that list directly from our applications

18. default tray or cabinet when data processing is not recognized from folders

    When you import from folders and set data processing and the document is not recognized correctly it is taken to the favorite tray of the user who has executed the data processing, it would be a very good idea to configure a default tray or filing cabinet for when this happens and not be the user's favorite tray.

    When you manage many import with folders, it is very useful if the documents that are not correctly recognized are moved to the correct tray or filing cabinet.

    Das Fenster "Indexeinträge anzeigen" ist seit dem Update auf 7.1 sehr breit und kann vom Benutzer nicht verkleinert werden.

    Bitte entweder auf die alte Ansicht zurückstellen oder das Fenster in der Breite veränderbar gestalten.

20. Use PDF Keyfields for indexing

    The system does not recognize or utilize any of the fields already available created and available in a PDF document nor will docuware display any of that information that is contained in the document. This will be a huge shortcomming for any system. It is critically important that we find a way to pickup the meta data from the PDF and display the metadata found within the PDF or we will at some time have a competitor that will and they will have an distinct advantage.....Docuware does not at this time apply all of the PDF standards correctly for viewing nor does it utilize the PDF key fields as it should. it is my understanding that Laserfiche does.
