2. Leeres Indexfeld suchen als Auswahl

   Es ist möglich, mit EMPTY() und NOTEMPTY() nach leeren und befüllten Feldern zu suchen. (siehe https://start.docuware.com/de/blog/produkt/suchparameter-f%C3%BCr-gezielte-ergebnisse)

   Es wäre praktischer, wenn man sich nicht die Befehle dazu merken muss, sondern es über die integrierte Dropbox einfach dies Auswählen könnte.

4. Beschreibung der Entscheidung unter Aufgabe formatieren

   Im Workflow-Manager lassen sich unter Aufgaben → Entscheidung → Dialog den Feldtyp "Beschreibung" hinzufügen.

   Mein Wunsch wäre es, diesen Text formatieren zu können (Schriftgröße, Dick, Unterstrichen, Farblich), damit wichtige Wörter ins Auge stechen.

5. Handelt es sich bei einem Begriff um einen User- oder Gruppennamen?

   Eine arithmetische Funktion sollte Informationen zu User- und Gruppennamen liefern. Hilfreich wären z. B:

   IsGroup(DWFeld) -> True / False
   IsUser (DWFeld) -> True / False
   IsMemberOf( GV_User ) -> Gruppenliste
   usw.

   Die wäre z. B. für die Befüllung der Globalen Variablen vom Typ "Benutzer einer Gruppe" oder "Rolle" von Vorteil - siehe Screenshot.
   Dann weiß man VOR der Zuordnung eines Textwertes zur Variable, ob der Inhalt zum Typ passt.

6. Recently Deleted - Ability to disable retention for Document trays and specific File Cabinets

   Have the ability to disable retention for specific Document trays and specific file cabinets.

   We delete on average 3 million documents per month (historic documents and duplicate documents). When deleting this large amount of documents, you have to keep the gui open for days on end and would likely time out. Also, it is unclear when a filter is applied, does permanently delete all only target the filtered list or all documents in the recently deleted folder?

   Also add the capability for a deletion workflow to clear these out for specific doctrays/fc's. perhaps also enable quotas specifically for recently deleted items.

   Have the ability to disable retention for specific Document trays and specific file cabinets.

7. Autoindex und Löschregel jährlich ausführen

   Es ist nur möglich monatlich bei der Ausführung auszuwählen, während alle 6 Monate den größten Abstand darstellt. Gerne würde ich bestimmte Jobs nur einmal pro Jahr ausführen. Dafür müsste die Auswahl bitte auf alle 12 Monate erweitert werden.

8. Übersichten / Ergebnislisten (Suchdialoge, Aufgaben) übersichtlicher gestalten

   Es wäre echt super, wenn man die Ergebnisse (Aufgaben, Suche DokPools) nach Suchkriterien/Werten in den Reitern zusammenfassen könnte um die Ansicht übersichtlicher zu gestalten (– analog der Gruppierfunktion in DATEV-REWE). Per Drag and Drop wäre klasse.
   (so ähnlich ist es schon in der Ordneransicht, jedoch sind diese nicht variabel und vom Nutzer anpassbar)
   Schön wäre auch noch eine Anzeige, wie viele Elemente enthalten sind und dass unter den Betragsfeldern Summen gebildet und angezeigt werden.
   Die jetzige Filterfunktion ist eher mäßig, da alle anderen Ergebnisse ausgeblendet werden
   Die Option es per CSV zu exportieren, um dann Summen zu rechnen oder die Anzahl anzuzeigen zu lassen, ist sehr umständlich.

9. Dokumentablage für Ablagedialog sperren

   Es kommt immer wieder vor, dass man Hilfsarchive (Lieferantenstamm, Systemdaten, etc) benötigt. Erfahrungsgemäß kommt es bei allen Kunden vor, dass dort versehentlich Dokumente abgelegt werden, weil nicht "Datensatz erstellen", sondern versehentlich ein Dokument im Briefkorb angewählt ist. Es wäre daher sinnvoll, wenn man in einem Ablagedialog definieren kann, dass darüber nur Datensätze erstellt werden und keine Dokumente abgelegt werden können.

10. Add the ability to restore deleted Workflow Tasks

    Without knowing we stopped workflows for employees that are no longer here. Tired of getting emails that wont deliver. We didnt realize this would stop the flow for all users. It would be nice if when a workflow is stopped that it is moved to the recycle bin where we can restore

11. Dokumentenverarbeitung - Metadaten-Format XML unterstützen

    Viele ERP-Hersteller können zu den PDF-Ausgangsbelegen im Standard eine XML in einem Verzeichnis abstellen, jedoch keine DWCONTROL.
    Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn DocuWare XML-Dateien bei der Dokumenten- bzw. Metadatenverarbeitung unterstützen würde.

13. Admin - Reporting

    For a scalable product, it is time to provide more details on usage in the form of a report or KPI on a dashboard. We need a breakdown of how each cabinet is being used, not just the overall account. We cannot perform chargebacks to departments who use different cabinets proportionally to our overall account storage consumption.

15. More functions in folder result view

    It would be a great idea if the folder result in web client show the records paginated because if the result list have a lot of documents in a folder, the result take too many time to show it.

    Another great funcion is the possibily to filter the results in the colums as in a traditional result view, so you can have the document wanted easiest.

16. Texte von Zellen der Ergenislisten per Mausklick ändern

    um in der aktuellen Version 7.9 (cloud) Werte von Indexfeldern ändern zu können, muss man ein Dokument anklicken und das Dialogfeld "Indexeinträge ändern" anklicken.

    In einigen Fällen wäre es jedoch praktischer, wenn man direkt in der Ergebnisliste auf einen eintrag klick, um dann einen Text (oder Wert) eingeben zu können. Dies würde das Ändern von Indexeinträgen erheblich beschleunigen.

    Diese Funktion sollte mind. für den Admin zur Verfügung stehen.

17. DocuWare Configurations - License List

    Previously in DocuWare Configurations under Product Overview, there was a listing of Licenses with the users assigned to each license and then open licenses where we could assign a new user. That section appears to have been removed now. It appears that only place we can see License information now is under User Management by going into each individual user and clicking on the Licenses tab. Is there another location where we can access a list of licensed users? If not, can an additional column be added to the Users list with a checkbox indicating if the user has a license assigned or not?

18. System should inform the administrator that user ID already exists

    If I have two users with a long name, e.g. "Katarzyna Nowak" and "Katarzyna Kowalska", the system prompts the user ID "KATARZYN"
    While this is ok when creating the first user, with the second one this name cannot be used and the system does not inform about it, but changes the user ID to a random string of characters. System should in such a case prevent the creation of such a user and inform the administrator that such a user ID already exists.

    Aktuell kann die MSSQL Datenbank nur mit einem Lokalen Benutzer verwendet werden. Es sollte auch möglich sein AD User zu verwenden.

20. Öffnen eines Ordners in der Ordnerstruktur verbessern

    Für alle die bisher für ihre Daten eine Ablage im Dateisystem hatten und jetzt die Dokumente in Docuware ablegen wollen, ist die Verwendung von Docuware Ordner eine super Sache. Allerdings gibt es einen großen Nachteil. Um auf Dokumente in einem speziellen Ordner zugreifen zu können muss die ganze Ordnerstruktur durchgeklickt werden. Bei uns sind z.B. alle Dokumente für die Projekte in einer definierten Struktur abgelegt. Um z.B. auf alle Dokumente für einen Bestellakt zuzugreifen müsste man in Docuware sich durch 5 Ordner klicken. Bei hunderten von Projekten nicht machbar. Man könnte natürlich nach allen Dokumenten für einen Bestellakt suchen, verliert dabei aber die Struktur der Ablage.

    Es gibt aus meiner Sicht 3 Möglichkeiten die Ordnerstruktur zu verbessern.

    1. Öffnen eines Ordners als Parameter für den Explorer analog zu "explorer c:\Temp". Das ist aber wahrscheinlich sehr schwierig.

    2. Zugriff über eine Verknüpfung. Derzeit kann man ja im Explorer für einen Ordner eine Verknüpfung am Desktop erstellen, die dann ganz normal über einen Aufruf oder im Explorer geöffnet werden kann. Allerdings funktioniert die Generierung der Verknüpfung nur manuell. Wenn man das per Script durchführen könnte, wäre schon viel erreicht.

    3. Erweiterung des URL Generators um einen Link zu einem Ordner zu generieren. Wir verwenden diese Methode schon um Links zu Dokumenten mit Powershell zu generieren. Super Sache.
