Since we are DocuWare integrators, we change our Desktop Apps connection all the time.
Since 7.10, we have been forced to open a browser just to open the WorkFlow designer.
Personally, I don't use my default browser to connect to the client's cloud (I assume I'm not alone in this situation), which means every time Desktop Apps wants to connect, it opens a tab on my default browser and forces me to retype the user/password.
It is time-consuming, and it gives us difficulties in some external communication with other services like SMSMod (untimely opening connection tabs).

I know security concerns led you to those choices but we need it to be more invisible (not opening a browser tab), still preserving the security.
