Automate DesktopApp default connection to PlatformRO
When deploying DWDesktopApp there is a script on the DW FAQ site called "DocuWareXXDesktopAppsSilent_Install.bat". This can be used to automate the deployment of DWDesktopApp. The problem is the portion that directs the creation of the default connection does not work with PlatformRO. You must manually log into your Read Only Platform site and use the "Connect Desktop Apps" option.
I would be great if customers who purchased RO and SmartConnect could automate the creation of the default connection to PlatformRO as well as have a visual representation in the DesktopApp that showed the app's connection was…

Change the "is different than previous page" Split option to not split if the zone is empty.
I have had multiple occasions where the first page of a new document has a customer number and the subsequent pages do not. I need a way to say that if the zone has a number in it that is different from the previous, but NOT EMPTY then split before that page. Currently, the “different than previous” option considers a blank zone a new document and this does not work for these scenarios.

Add capability to store a document in a cabinet, yet have it linked to any number of other locations (virtual cabinets)
Your Windows client is similar. Store a document once and have it viewable in multiple locations without copying to the other locations.
