linked (cascading) drop-downs
Allow select lists to be hierarchical and linked. For example, a user selects "Contract" in the Document Type field and then they're only allowed to pick from specific contract types in the next field, the Document Sub-Type field. This is currently partially accomplished using Filtering and Selective Select Lists, but those ways are unstructured and depend upon a cabinet full of data.
This feature is so common-place that users expect it in DW and are surprised that it's not there.

Calculate Index Data using index field values
Be able to calculate fields by other fields index data. Example:
Invoice Amount: 36.00
Invoice Payment: 20.00
Then be able to put an equation in a field called:

filter multi-column select lists in the new table field based on the value of another field
Really happy to see the new table field. It would be great to add the capability to filter the select lists that are in the table based on the value of another field in the dialog. eg. The user picks "Accounting" from the department field and DocuWare filters the GL codes in the select lists in the table field to only show the GL codes tied to the accounting department. Adding this capability to the new table field would provide a more consistent user experience across the platform.

Restore the ability to create Data records within the webclient.
Till docuware 6.1 we where able to store datarecords in the DocuWare Webclient by using the store dialog. We had to sign the box for "create data record without a document"

Allow use of Multi GL table within mobile app
GL split is not enabled on MOBILE. Following error is received:
The Docware server has encountered an error with the message: Assignment in activity: 'Approve' failed! [1: GL_SPLIT] Decision doesn't contains variable with id : 22! Parameter name: last Decision
How about enabling the GL split workflows to work on Mobile.

Introduce a way to incorporate system data into an index field so that it appears in the column view
Our customers are regularly asking for a way of being able to see system field data in the column view in both the Document Tray and for stored documents.

auto increment value
what we need is the field in a cabinet to increase automatically +1 from the last value entered each time a new document is entered in the file cabinet .
For exampleImport new document in a file cabinet ---------------------- field named reference number Is automatically filled with a numeric value like 001
Import new document in a file cabinet-----------------------field named reference number Is automatically filled with a numeric value like 002

Unique key into File Cabinet
Into the File Cabinet the user have the possibility to mark the fields that the values must be unique. This will avoid duplicate data (eg invoices with the same number)

Point to clipboard a barcode
Copy a barcode value in clipboard, to paste in third party application. today, even if the text is under the barcode, it is impossible to take only the text. the copy give a succession of 1 (111111 11)

Your idea is already available if you have the Barcode & Forms license and the document is imported with the Desktop Apps. -
Allow turning filters off by default when indexing
In version 7.1 at least, users complain that when indexing they need to turn off filtering every time in order to see the full select lists in fields they need to fill in. Filters cannot be turned off by default. Once they fill in any fields, the remaining fields only display filtered values unless they turn off the filters.

Create a field in the Store Dialog for Notes
Create a field in the Store Dialog for Notes just like there one for Workflow.
It would be helpful to provide users with some form of instruction at the time of indexing.

Autoindex matching with operators
It would be useful to check a match with different operators (like =;>;<) in the autoindex workflow. For example then I can check directly for duplicates against the own database. Matching could look like this
DOCID<>DOCID
DOCTYPE=DOCTYPE
ReferencNR=ReferenceNRWith this a document will not match with itself.

Be able to AND OR "New documents" "modifed Index Enteries" under Trigger Condition
Under Trigger Condition, you can only select "New documents or modified index entries". I would be nice to be able to change that to "New documents and modified index entries".
1 voteBasically the option is just like you describe. And the term “or” is also correct, because you cannot have a new document that also has changed index entries.

Only allow recognized entries in fields with selection lists and don’t allow partial entries.

Opportunity to create custom date/number formatting for different languages and countries.
For example, in Denmark the dates are showed with the day first, followed by the month and then year.

Have mandatory field also for the search
Hello,
It could be nice if the mandatory field could be also apply in search dialog box. It could be an option in the search dialog box administration for all field included in the dialog box, to set if this field is mandatory or not.Best regards
