Fill dropdown by a Webservice
Allow to connect a select list (dropdown) with a webservice and not only with a database table or view.

processor
When stored the processor is the tray that you are in rather than the person that has created the document. This would make more time available to do other things in the long run.

Invoice date
Only the invoice date from intelligent indexing should be processed not the created on date. It has taken up a lot of my time going in and changing this for almost everything when our system crashed.

Tastenkombinationen in Tabellenfeldern
Immer mehr Interessenten nutzen die Tabellenfeldern, häufig müssen Werte von einer Zeile in die nächste kopiert werden, (Kostenstellen oder so) doch eine neue Zeile zu kreieren geht nur mit der Maus, hier sollten spezifische Tastaturkombinationen erstellt werden:

expanded use of Table fields
I was excited to see the new table field type in version 7.1. However, it does not appear that I will be able to use it as planned.
Our situation: We will receive a check from one our clients who may have several accounts with us. In the accompanying instructions, the client requests to have the check amount distributed evenly among all of their accounts. The instructions may or may not specify account numbers and amounts.
Once the values have been distributed to each account, we still need to have the capability to search for and retrieve the document using…2 votes -
Able to add Stamps without decisions
Able to add Stamps without decisions being stamped as well.
Ie FIELD = COMMENTS
Stamp just posts
USER AND TIMEbut the field will still copy to comments.

Dokumente an Workflow anhängen und Indexdaten aktualisieren
Es wäre gut, wenn Dokumente an Workflows angehangen werden könnten und Indexdaten für diese Dokumente ausgehend vom Workflow und Quelldokument aktualisierbar wären.
Einfaches Beispiel:
Rechnungsprüfung - Zuordnung der offenen Lieferscheine zur Rechnung und schreiben der Rechnungsnummer an die Lieferscheine.MfG Torsten Bittner

Select a role as a select list for drop down lists in DocuWare Forms
I want to be able to populate a drop down list with users from a role, without having to create a select list that mirrors the role.

Herunterladen / Drucken / Mailen verknüpfter Dokumente
Es wäre schön wenn man im Menü Herunterladen / Drucken eine PDF bekommen könnte inkl. verknüpfter Dokumente.
Wir haben bei vielen Kunden Ausgangsrechungen und Leistungsbelege in 2 Archiven die wir über einen Eintrag verknüpfen. In der reinen Anzeige kann man sich ja das zugehörige Dokument anzeigen lassen. Nur zum Versenden bzw. Drucken eines Vorgangs ist das ganze dann etwas umständlich.3 votes -
Provide this option in Workflow to auto open or not the next record
Create a setting allowing any user to enable/disable whether the next invoice in the approval task list automatically pops open when you are completed with your 1st one.
This is currently an option for Stamps, but not for Workflow. Why not? In the configuration of Stamps, it is possible to select when the next record is opened, or when the current document is closed. It is assumed in Workflow that the next record should be automatically opened.

Nachrichten-ID-Funktion auch in Connect-to-Mail
In Connect-to-Outlook wurde mit DW 7 die Funktion der Nachrichten-ID eingebaut.
Ich schlage vor dies auch in Connect-to-Mail einzuführen.
Dann kann ich über ein Journaling-Postfach und einem eigenem Archiv, ein automatisches Mailarchiv, mit Dublettenablgiech, bauen.Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Adding more document format via the viewer

Benutzersynchronisation aus der Kombination von zwei Active Directory Gruppen Active – Waiting
Es sollte bei der Benutzersynchronisation möglich sein, Benutzer nur dann zu synchronisieren, wenn Sie in zwei (oder mehreren) konkreten Active Directory-Gruppen sind.
Szenario: Es gibt eine Active Directory - Gruppe Niederlassungsleiter und eine Gruppe München. Nur wenn ein Benutzer in beiden Gruppen enthalten ist, soll dieser in die DocuWare Gruppe "Niederlassungsleiter München" importiert werden. Falls der Benutzer nur in einer der beiden Gruppen ist, soll keine Synchronisation erfolgen.
Dadurch müsste der Kunde nicht unnötig viele Active Directory-Gruppen anlegen (in diesem Fall eine Niederlassungsleiter-Gruppe pro Niederlassung).

Berechtigungen nicht nur additiv.
Alle Berechtigungen eines Users werden summiert.
Whitelist
Es fehlt das Recht 'Verweigern'
Blacklist
Diese sollte stärker wirken als die Whitelist.
Zur Sicherheit sollte diese nicht für Admins wirken .So könnte man schneller einfacher und übersichtlicher einen Standard Zugriff für Alle machen, und einzelne User, Gruppen oder Rollen, mit einem Indexwertprofil den Zugriff auf einzelne Dokumententypen verbieten.

Add an option per user to be able to have "Keep Entries" ticked by default on the Store options
At the moment, "Keep Entries" is unticked by default and it is not possible to select for this to be ticked by default instead. A simple change, but would help our users out.

Index Wiederherstellen über Konfiguration
Wir brauchen die Funktion Index Wiederherstellen in der Administration bei praktisch jeder Server Migration.
Die Lösung ab 7.X mit dem CMD Tool ist nun aber ein massiver Rückschritt, da fehleranfällig und sehr umständlich und macht die Migrationen sehr viel mühsamer.
Weiteres Problem des CMD Tools, die NextDOCID wird nicht mehr automatisch erhöht und muss somit immer nachträglich über die Datenbank korrigiert werden.Wird die Funktion Index Wiederherstellen noch in die Web Konfiguration integriert?

Bestätigungsdialog beim Verschmelzen von Anmerkungsebenen in einem Archiv mit Versionierung
In einem Archiv mit Versionierung wird aktuell, wenn man auf die Funktion "Anmerkungsebenen verschmelzen" klickt, kein Bestätigungsdialog angezeigt (wie es in einem Archiv ohne Versionierung der Fall ist). Viele Kunden von uns wünschen den Dialog trotzdem. Es schadet ja nicht einmal mehr auf "Ok" zu klicken und eine versehentliche Verschmelzung würde nicht mehr passieren.

Suchen mit Dialog und Volltext in Outlook
Es wäre super, wenn der User innnerhalb von Outlook auch den Suchdialog anzeigen könnte und dadurch auch Volltextsuche betreiben könnte.

Allow users that have access to several select lists to modify some lists but not others.
When users use more than one select list, it may be necessary for them to edit some lists but not be permitted to edit others. Right now, this is an either/or situation They can either edit all lists or no lists.
