Store Automatically Currently ignores the settings in the selected store dialog. It should still default values in fields etc.
Personally I think this is a bug. Currently Store Dialog settings like preloaded default values are ignored. If you select multiple documents in a tray and use the Store Automatically the settings of the store dialog are not processed. This causes huge issues if a status field for instance was preloaded to kick off a particular workflow. The user is allowed to do it but the documents get stored without the necessary default index values and the user has no idea the fields were not filled in as they are if they store one at a time with the store…
15 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

allow us to control which store dialogs can be seen from a document tray
document trays are used for different things. eg. invoices coming in to one facility go into a particular document tray (from C2Mailor or from DWImport from a hotfolder linked to that facility's MFP, or users at that facility only have access to that C2O configuration, etc). Wouldn't it be great if any of those invoices could only be stored using one particular store dialog (eg. the Invoices one), even if that particular user also had access to a store dialog for contracts or other documents that never ended up in this tray? That would simplify the user's menus, reduce possible…
24 votesThank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

Background image for the sign field
Instead of just having a white background for the sign field, allow using a background image in order to make a diagram.
Included, one example of a bus background image on which user can simply draw where the problem is located for instance.

One button for nested windows
Many applications have nested windows. Users often will have multiple Order windows open at once. It would be beneficial to have one SmartConnect button located in the main application window, and when the button is pressed, it runs the search on the current active window.

version field in task
Please allow to add the WF Version field as a column. This would allow users to filter or order by that field, when doing multiple tasks. Currently it is only visible as supervisor.

Change trade to non-trade
When you switch the invoice from trade to non-trade, it should show up in non-trade list. This is not happening at this moment. I then have to go and find said invoice if I didn't copy it to my personal file. It would be a much cleaner list and no duplicates vouched and stored. This would just be for convenience, not really needed. Also the other way around doesn't do anything. It keeps the invoice in the non-trade list.

Add an option to see roles and selection lists that are used in workflow
when we set up DocuWare, we are sometimes forced to use roles and selection lists only for Worfklows. it would be good to see when these are used in the workflows in the web configuration

Automatically select an item in a drop down list if it's the only one.
If a select list is narrowed down to only one remaining option by the other field(s) that it's filtered by, we need an option to automatically select this item. Why do users need to perform 2 additional mouse clicks or several keystrokes to accomplish this?

Der WF-Manager sollte SQL-Update in externer Datenbank können
nicht nur das HOLEN von Daten zu einem Workflow sollte möglich sein, sondern auch das ERSTELLEN / ÄNDERN von Datensätzen in anderen Archiven / externen Datenbanken - am liebsten auch mit der Option das SQL-update query selber angeben zu können.
Hintergrund ist, dass wir für einen Bewerbungsprozess eine Statistik-Datenbank füllen wollen5 votes -
Hierarchie für "CC an Chef" im WF-Manager im Fall der Eskalation einführen
Wunsch ist bei Fälligkeit mit einfachen Mitteln eine E-Mail an den Chef zu schreiben, um ihn darüber zu informieren, dass Arbeit liegengeblieben ist. Das Gleiche bei Überfälligkeit.
Derzeit:
Nur im Falle einer Eskalation von Überfälligkeit ist derzeit eine Zeitüberschreitung möglich, womit man dann (umständlich) den Chef über die nicht erledigte Arbeit informieren könnte- nur leider hat dieser dann auch die Aufgabe, was hier ziemlich unflexibel ist.
An vielen Stellen fehlt mir im übrigen auch der Arithmetische Ausdruck, mit dem man vieles sehr dynamischer gestalten könnte.Man könnte es realisieren, indem man nach der Zuweisung zur Person und vor der Aufgabe…

Unterstützung von Azure Blob-Storage als Speicherort für Dokumente
Nachdem immer mehr Unternehmen ihr On Premises System von selbst gepflegter Hardware in eigene Cloud-Systeme verlagern, wäre es sehr sinnvoll wenn DocuWare als Speicherort für Dokumente auch den Azure Blob-Storage unterstützen würde.

Export-Recht aufteilen
derzeit ist das "EXPORT-Recht" zusammengefasst und beinhaltet mindestens die 3 Aktivitäten herunterladen, drucken und senden per E-Mail.
Wenn man den DSGVO-Tipps folgt, müsste dieses Recht vollständig entzogen werden. Nun wünscht sich ein Kunde das Druck-Recht, was ich nun gern einzeln vergeben können möchte - geht aber leider nicht: Bitte Export-Recht auf einzelne Rechte aufbrechen5 votes -
Hyperlinks in der Dokumentenverarbeitung(DouwarePrinter)
Beim drucken über den DocuwarePrinter kann man zusätzlich eine Mail versenden, hier kann man leider keine Hyperlinks im Mailtext nutzen, dies wäre aber sehr hilfreich

Verlauf zuletzt abgelegter Dokumente
Eine Verlaufsansicht der zuletzt abgelegten (z.B. 10) Dokumente soll helfen gleich wieder auf diese zugreifen zu können.
Viele Nutzer legen oft ein Dokument aus Ihrem Papierkorb ab und wollen von diesem dann den Link teilen. Hierzu müssen Sie dann dieses Dokument was eben abgelegt wurde, regulär über die Suche finden.

stamping idea
I suggest that you improve stamping as to you can highlight a lot of of documents at once(ctr+a) and be able to stamp them at one go than to open first then stamp, time consummation.

Swap to Acrobat Reader for PDF in order to see the digital signature or the PDF/A version
in acrobat you can see the detail in a left pane of the digital signature as well as the version of the PDF/A (2b, 3u, etc) or the content of the PDF/X which is the next norm for digital invoices (xml embedded in the pdf)

Mehrseitige Dokumente - Reihenfolge der Seiten ändern
Es wäre super wenn man die Seitenreihenfolge eines bereits archivierten Dokumentes ändern könnte. Als Beispiel: bei Rechnungen würde wir die Seite mit der Rechnungssumme gerne als 1 Seite haben.

Meta Daten ausdrucken
Unser Kunde wünscht sich Meta Daten ausdrucken zu können.
Idee wäre dann, dass man im Kontextmenü "Drucken" noch eine weitere Auswahl zu Verfügung hat: "Als PDF ohne Anmerkungen mit Metadaten".

Anzahl der Suche-Tabs einschränken
Es sollte die Anzahl der Suchen begrenzt werden.
Viele User klicken auf die Suche und erstellen eine Neue, ohne die alten Suchtabs zu verwenden.
Ich hatte eine Mitarbeiterin, die so viele Tabs geöffnet hatte, dass ihr Docuware nicht mehr aufging, weil alle Suchen natürlich geladen werden müssen.
War nur über die DB zu bereinigen.
Vorschlag, mehr als 50 oder 100 Tabs braucht kein Mensch.
Können auch weniger sein.2 votes
