Allow preindexing in an Intelligent Indexing document tray
When you are bulk storing docs via Intelligent Indexing, you still want them stored in the file cabinet in the order they were captured.
So the user will want to 'Store Automatically' the entire group. However, a couple may have to have index fields fixed first. Should be able to preindex them without having to store them out of order

Zugang zu Formular mit Passwort wenn öffentlich
Es wäre super wenn ein Webformular als öffentlich deklariert ist, dass diese noch mit einem Zugangspasswort geschützt werden kann.
So hat man eine zusätzliche Absicherung dass nur ausgewählte externe auf das Formular kommen...7 votes -
Indexeinträge ändern aus dem WF-Manager - Dialog nicht konfigurierbar
Wenn ich STRG-ALT-I aus dem WF-Manager heraus drücke, wenn ein Dokument gewählt ist (Indexeinträge ändern), dann ist der Dialog dahinter weder in der Funktion (Rechte) noch in der Reihenfolge definierbar - das muss dringend konfigurierbar gestaltet werden - ich meine, dass diese Idee schon einmal geteilt wurde, aber da es in 7.0 immer noch nicht geht: Bitte umsetzen

Show Next Run Time in Autoindex
In addition to the current "Last Run" time shown in the overview, add a column that shows the next time a job is scheduled to run. This is was available in previous versions of DocuWare. I find it helpful to view when an autoindex job will run so my scheduled jobs are not all running at the same time.

Das Herunterladen für RO User nur auf PDF Version beschränken zu können.
Es wäre sinnvoll das Herunterladen im Originalformat deaktivieren zu können. Somit kann verhindert werden das Dokumente z.B. als Wordfile heruntergeladen, verändert und verteilt werden.
Momentan lässt sich nur ein komplettes Herunterladen verbieten, was aber auch das Drucken und Verteilen abschaltet.3 votes -
add a configurable stamp activity to Workflow Designer
Add a specific activity in the Workflow Designer that places a configurable stamp. Give the designer the ability to pick the location of the stamp (either have DocuWare automatically place it, as it does now, or have the workflow creator input X and Y coords), and let the workflow creator pick the global variables or index fields or text for the stamp. We have several workflows that have a lot of fields in the decision tasks and the resulting stamp is huge and contains a lot of info that isn't required.

Use PDF Keyfields for indexing
The system does not recognize or utilize any of the fields already available created and available in a PDF document nor will docuware display any of that information that is contained in the document. This will be a huge shortcomming for any system. It is critically important that we find a way to pickup the meta data from the PDF and display the metadata found within the PDF or we will at some time have a competitor that will and they will have an distinct advantage.....Docuware does not at this time apply all of the PDF standards correctly for viewing…

Ability to change the color of the font and the outlined of the answer field.
The font answers are to light and hard to read. If would had the ability to change the color of the font it would be easier for end user to read the form.
Ability to change the color of the outline boxes to show up better again helping end users.2 votes -
Verarbeitung eingehender eMails im Workflow
Guten Tag,
es wäre gut, wenn DocuWare auch mit eingehenden Mails umgehen könnte, um z.B. einen Workflow fortzusetzen.
Szenario: In einem Rechnungsprüfungs-Workflow wird ein externer Bearbeiter ohne DocuWare-Login zur Prüfung ausgewählt. Dieser bekommt eine Mail mit PDF-Anhang des zu prüfenden Dokuments (Funktion bereits vorhanden) und sendet eine Antwort per Mail (z.B. OK / Abgelehnt). Die Antwort wird automatisch verarbeitet und der Workflow wird fortgesetzt.

Remove the "unnamed document" field from the tablet result view.
Currently, the mobile app forces you to show the Document name/file name in the Mobile app result view. The ability to hide this column or at least move it away from the front.

Geänderte Feldnamen automatisch für alle Dialoge aktualisieren
Wenn sich Feldnamen ändern, sollte es eine Möglichkeit geben diese einfach auf alle Dialoge und Listen zu aktualisieren. Bei einer hohen Anzahl von Dialogen und Listen, verursacht eine Feldnamensänderung einen exterem hohen Aufwand.

System# oder Organisation in Fehler-Mails anzeigen
In den E-Mails, die die Cloud bei Fehlern versendet fehlt ein Hinweis um welchen Kunden es sich handelt.
Ohne diese ist es mühsam den betroffenen Kunden zu finden um Support zu leisten.
Die System#, der Name der Organisation oder wenigstens die URL der betroffenen Cloud-Instanz würde hier enorm helfen.
Bitte einbauen!

File upload directly from webcam
For some forms use cases it would be great to be able to take a picture using the devices camera / webcam. For mobile platforms this works well already, but on full operating systems you can only upload a document from the file system.
Webcam based upload is a native HTML5 functionality, and an example can be found toward the bottom of this page:

Connect to Mail ein Dokument pro Anhang
Ein Lieferant schickt eine E-Mail mit vielen Rechnungen im Anhang.
Wenn diese mit Connect to Mail archiviert wird, wäre es sehr komfortabel wenn jede Rechnung als einzelnes Dokument im portiert werden kann.
Dann entfällt das auseinander klamüsern im Briefkorb.9 votes -

We need to see current storage statistics data BY CABINET as image characteristics (File Count and size for each image) vary and therefore projecting storage consumption would be more accurate.

Enhält nicht als Überprüfung in Indexwertprofilen
Bei der Anlage von Rechten die auf Indexeinträgen basiert kann in DocuWare als Bedingung "Enthält" ausgewählt werden. Leider gibt es nicht die Möglichkeit "Enthält nicht" auszuwählen.
Im Konrekten Fall möchten wir Userabhängig gewisse Dokumente sperren können. Die Idee war es hier, die Eintragung über ein Stichwortfeld durchzuführen und hier zu prüfen ob der Username nicht enthalten ist. Denn das Sperren von Dokumenten ist seltener wie die freigabe von Dokumenten.

EML-Dateien sollten auch per Outlook versendet werden können
Aktuell ist es nur möglich, dass MSG-Dateien richtig mit der "Senden"-Funktion als E-Mail aufgehen. Bei EML-Dateien geht eine E-Mail mit der EML-Datei im Anhang auf was nicht gerade komfortabel ist, wenn ich auf diese E-Mail antworten möchte oder diese E-Mail weiterleiten möchte.

Windows Explorer Client (WEC) wahlweise mit Anmerkungsebene
Im WEC kann man die Dokumente im Originalformat wunderbar öffnen/anzeigen lassen, allerdings ohne Stempel oder sonstige Anmerkungen.
Die Anmerkungsebene dort optional mit einblenden zu lassen wäre in meinen Augen eine wunderschöne Ergänzung für Kunden, die dort immer alle Informationen sehen wollen.
Man könnte dies ja mit einer Checkbox in den "Eigenschaften", "Ansicht anpassen" oder allgemein im Rechtsklick-Menü vom WEC konfigurierbar gestalten - wahrscheinlich ist das alles in 30 Minuten zu realisieren.4 votes -
Sicherung für Cloud-Systeme
Es sollte eine Möglichkeit in der Cloud geben, eine Sicherung einzurichten. Ein Request lässt sich hier aufgrund der eingeschränkten Zeitsteuerung nicht nutzen. Es wäre schön wenn es hierfür ein extra Tool bzw. Reiter in der Konfiguration gäbe.
