Allow use of SQL Queries to get a "Predefined" search term.
I would like to be able to use an SQL query to get the value for a predefined search field.
For instance, to be able to say that the Location field is locked to "SELECT LOCATION from dbo.USER_INFO where USERNAME = 'CURRENTUSERNAME'"
This would allow the predefined fields to be much more useful. The current set of five options is not very thorough, and not extensible at all. Being able to use those five predefined options in SQL queries would open up a much wider scope. Especially if they could be used in conjunction with the index data of the…

Archivnamen in den Tabulatoren der Aufgabenlisten anzeigen
Wenn für mehrere Archive gleichnamige Aufgabenlisten existieren, kann man diese nur anhand der Farbe unter der Aufgabenlisten auseinander halten. Das Einfachste wäre die Namen der Archive als Prefix für die Aufgabenlisten einzublenden, so wie das bereits bei den Suchmasken erfolgt.

To review the file size of scanned images before uploading...
I encounter after scanning my images, that I am guessing how big my file size is. I have guessed wrong on many occasions and I then get an error "reached my maximum file size and cannot exceed 300,000 kb." There should be option that I can review how big my file size of the scanned images before hitting the upload button. That way I am not wasting my time of re-scanning the documents again.

Multiple custom names for document types
Let's say a customer has multiple departmens that speaks different languages. They have each seperate file cabinets. Now it would be very usefull to be able to use multiple custom document type names, instead of the pre-defined ones.

einzelne Dokumente so wie es schon bei den Seiten eines Dokuments ist, per Direktsprung zu erreichen sind
Die Seite eines Dokuments im Viewer kann man direkt ansteuern, eine bestimmtes Dokument leider nicht. Das bedeutet, insbesondere wenn man genau weiß wo man hin will, ein ziemlich langes und unnötiges blättern über Dokumente weg die man eh schon kennt. Und da man leider auch nicht einfach wild los klicken kann und das Programm die dann nacheinander abarbeitet, sondern es immer Klick -> laden -> Klick -> laden geht, ist das bei sehr vielen Dokumenten von denen man nur die letzten bearbeiten möchte sehr nervig...

Auch im Workflow sollten bei der Historie alle Worfklows angezeigt werden und nicht nur der aktuelle
Geht man bei einer Workflow-Aufgabe auf die Historie, so wird nur die Historie des aktuellen Workflows angezeigt.
Geht man über das Dokument in die Historie werden alle Workflows angezeigt.
Für den normalen Benutzer ist das wie wir finden eher verwirrend.
Eine praktikable Lösung wäre unserer Meinung nach, dass wenn man im WF auf die Historie geht, die Historie aller Workflows angezeigt wird, aber die Historie des aktuell geöffneten Workflows als erstes angezeigt wird.

Bring back Docuware Mobile II or at least the functionality that it had
It seem that the latest version of DW Mobile was reduced in its capabilities from the original version. Almost like it was only developed for cell phone/ small screens. DW Mobile II had a lot more features for viewing documents and navigation was easier. We use tablets, not phones in the field for viewing documents.

Make the highlighter tool like the one in Word or Google Docs.
The current highlighter tool covers up the word it is highlighting to much. Also it should not be a freestyle highlighter, but used like that in Word or Google Docs.

Add Scan/Upload Management Capability Into Docuware Desktop Apps Scan Feature
SYMPTOM: When the user scans and clicks the upload button the program shows a message "Your document is being created and uploaded" For no apparent reason this process hangs, and, if left alone will run indefinitely.
PROBLEM: The symptom above effectively cripples any further SCAN & UPLOAD processing on the computer until a manual intervention is performed.
SOLUTION: When this happens, and it has happened to a number of different customers over the course of the last three months,and longer, we have taken the steps outlined here:

smartindex als schaltfläche
Es wäre sehr hilfreich wenn man Smart-Index als klickbare Fläche im Ablagedialog hätte, zurzeit muss man per Maus ein Untermenü öffnen oder per Tastaturkombination dies ausführen, eine sichtbare Schaltfläche wäre einleuchtender

I suggest that you allow rearranging index fields on the "edit index field" screen.
Currently, the list of index fields shown on the "edit index field" screen are in order of when they were created. It would be great to allow rearranging of the list so they are in a more user friendly order, and not just "this is how I added them into Docuware" order.

Ability to add a message with a scan . i.e. Writing the name of the account on an image being sent in.

I would like to be able to define a notification that would reoccur. For example when a document is on hold my users want to be reminded daily.

FC Folders: Indicate which fields require a select list and which are free form
When creating a folder view for a File Cabinet, there no indication which text fields are pulled from a closed select list and which accept any text input. This is annoying when you then try to create a new folder, only to find out when storing a file that the folder name does not match the select list.

Formularfelder in PDFs anzeigen im DW Web Viewer
Aktuell ist es nicht möglich sich Formularfelder in PDF´s im Web Viewer anzeigen zu lassen, wenn man das Dokument jedoch herunterlädt, werden die ausgefüllten Formularfelder angezeigt.
Featurewunsch: ausgefüllte Formularfelder sollten direkt im Web Viewer angezeigt werden können.
