Mehrere voneinander uabhängige Indexdatensätze je Dokument ermöglichen
Es kommte bei uns recht häufig vor, dass ein Dokument für verschiedene Fälle Gültigkeit hat, z.B. ein Sicherheitsdatenblatt bezieht sich auf mehrere Artikel oder ein Dokument ist für verschiedene Vorgänge gültig (z.B. 1 Sammelrechnung -> mehrere Lieferscheine oder 1 Frachtbrief -> mehrere Aufträge...)
Es wäre gut, wenn sich pro Dokument zusätzliche Indexdatensätze anlegen ließen ohne das Dokument kopieren zu müssen.
Durch die Möglichkeit, mehrere Indexdatensätze je Dokument zu erzeugen könnte die Redundanz der Dokumente und Probleme bei der Aktualisierung vermieden werden.

An Index Field can be created so that document stored in the file cabinet can be automatically numbered e.g fin-001, fin-002, and next doc.
I want a situation whereby document given a unique id e.g fin-001, fin-002 should automatically store the next document as fin-003 when an index field is created for this purpose.
2 votesThis is partly added in version 6.10. You can add automatic numbering, but without the prefix “fin-”. This will be added in a later version.

Move the scrollbar to the right so that I can select if when moving mouse to the edge of the screen
Hello,
In the search results, the scroll bar is just a few pixels from the edge of the screen. This means that when I move my mouse to the edge, the scroll bar isn't highlighted, so I can't select it move up and down. Please push or extend the scroll bar to the very edge so that the mouse pointer catches it. Thank you.

Allow Paging for long lists in Folders & Windows Explorer
There is a need, at times, to copy large numbers of documents out of DocuWare. Folders and Windows Explorer works perfectly for this purpose for smaller file cabinets.
By Default, the maximum number of documents you can display is 10,000. If you set the number to be larger, then performance becomes unacceptable.
It should be possible to break the documents into "groups" of 10,000 documents, and then to allow the user to go forward or backwords to the next or prefvious group of 10,000 documents. This way you can use this functionality on very large file cabinets, without the performance…

Default the arrow and page up/down keys to page and document flipping in the write version
In our read-only version, the arrow keys flip through pages. The page up/down keys flip through documents. However, in the write version, the focus in on the text box, so these keys don't flip through pages or documents. You have to change the focus by clicking on the document in the viewer to reset the keys to flipping. You must do this every time a new document is opened. I absolutely see the benefits of having the text box selected by default, but it would also be nice to flip through things with keyboard shortcuts by default. Thanks for listening.

Zentrales serverseitiges Drucken
Die Druckfunktion im Webclient erfolgt aktuell via PDF Download, was viel Zeit kostet. Sinnvoll wäre die Anlage von Druckfunktionen auf dem Docuware Server, hier werden dann die verfügbaren Drucker angelegt. Die Drucker sind dann in der Client Anwendung über ihre Bezeichnung auswählbar, ein Druck erfolgt zB. per Klick auf einen Button oder Auswahl des Druckers via Dropdown ausgelöst am Client, verarbeitet über den Server.

Allow Tiff's to be used as sample documents in DW Import
A client has requested to allow TIFF's to be used as Import samples in DW Import Configurations.
2 votesCurrently we are fully concentrating on PDF as file format. TIFFs can be converted into PDF easily and then used with DocuWare Import.

Automatically redact zone on document when importing a document.
In some cases a customer would like to automatically redact a zone on a group of documents during the import. This could very easily be an option in the Barcode & Forms Module.

Wir würden gern aus eine Worddatei eine PDF erstellen können, die automatisch voll indexiert abgelegt wird.
Hintergrund: Word-Dateien werden im Archiv bearbeitet und durchlaufen einen Workflow. Am Ende wird das Dokument als PDF abgespeichert, versandt, in den Briefkorb gezogen und ebenfalls abgelegt.
Wir würden gern direkt im Archiv aus der Worddatei eine PDF erstellen, die automatisch mit den Indexwerten der Worddatei abgelegt wird.2 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Der "Viewer mit Indexdialog" überall verfügbar ist
Der "Viewer mit Indexdialog" ist eine sehr sinnvolle Erweiterung, leider ist dies nur Verfügbar, wenn der Viewer in einem neuen Fenster geöffnet wird.
Es wäre schön, wenn am linken Rand des Viewers immer ein schmaler Streifen wäre, mit dem man bei Bedarf den Indexdialog einblenden kann, egal ob der Viewer eingebettet ist oder nicht.
Die Möglichkeit, den Indexdialog ein- und auszublenden ist ja bereits vorhanden, sofern die Option "DocuWare Viewer mit Indexdialog in neuem Fenster öffnen" aktiviert wird, es müsste nur in den eingebetteten Viewer übertragen werden.

We can't see out task list names anymore in DW 6.10. I know I can decrease the width of my viewer and i can also use another click and use the drop down arrow to display my task lists names in a drop down menu format, but isn't there a better way to display them so they show the entire list name even if our viewer window is wider than 50% of the screen? We were thinking maybe it is possible to give two rows to the task lists tabs? The scrolling feature in DW 6.7 wasn't much better, but…

Rename the "Extraction" function
For many users the term "Extraction" (in french) is not really eloquent.
It seems be better to call this function "Révision du document" (in french too).

Ausschnittsweises Drucken ohne native Anwendung sollte im Webclient möglich sein
Bei einem Kunden der bald den finalen Übergang vom Windows-Client zum Webclient vollzieht, werden ab und zu DIN A0 formatige Pläne ausschnittsweise ausgedruckt. Ich suche nach der besten Lösung aus dem Docuware Webclient ausschnittsweise zu drucken - und das ohne sich dabei auf Features von Paint oder Adobe Reader verlassen zu müssen und unabhängig von dem Dateityp, der in DW archiviert wurde.
Wunsch wäre es, dass - wie im Windows-Client - eine zusätzliche Druckoption angeboten wird, bei der man den aktuellen Bildausschnitt drucken kann - es würde sich ggf. eine PDF-Wandlung auf diese oder eine Standardgröße anbieten - natürlich ist…2 votesWe are currently not considering your idea.

Eingaben beibehalten bei "Datensatz erstellen"
In Docuware 6.9 lassen sich im Client mit "Datensatz erstellen" Datensätze ohne angehängte Datei erstellen. Im Windows Client war es möglich, mit einem Haken anzugeben, dass die Eingaben beibehalten werden sollen.
Diese Funktion benötigen wir auch im Web Client, da hier Datensätze ohne Datei stapelweise mit nahezu gleichen Daten angelegt werden.1 voteVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Copy the value of a field, from result list or index info dialog
An index value stored first in DW, need to set in a third party application. When the value is a long reference, the best to prevent typing error is to copy the value from DW to third party.
it can be available from Search result , copying the text, (in version 6.1 it was possible, no more in newer version) or from display info index particularlywhen index modification is not allowed by administrator on the field (tested and not possible from version 6.7 and above )

Statistiken/Auswertungen über DW Zugriffe
Es wäre schön eine Oberfläche zu haben, mit der man die Zugriffe von Usern auf das DocuWare-System auswerten kann. Es besteht oft der Wunsch, dem Kunden zu zeigen, dass das neu eingeführte DW-System das Ziel erreicht hat (oder nicht). Auch wenn durch die Einführung von DocuWare die Arbeitsprozesse optimiert worden sind und alles viel schneller wird, gewöhnt der Kunde sich zu schnell daran und meint natürlich, dass das auch ohne DocuWare so war. Daher möchte man dem Kunden zeigen: So viele User haben in dem Zeitraum x auf Dokumente mit Belegart Rechnungen so oft auf die Dokumente zugegriffen. 1 Zugriff…

Go directly to the page that contains that indexed value
The ability to go directly to the page that contains that indexed value. For example, If I index a value on page #5 out of document that has 20 pages (a multi-page PDF) and when I search/retrieve for that value, it takes me directly to view page #5 without scrolling the pages. The idea is to click on an index value on the left pane, the document viewer on the right pane brings to page #5 without doing a full text search.

Webadministration: Anzeige Konfigurationen auch in tabellarischer Form
In der Webadministration werden Konfiguration (Importjobs etc.) grundsätzlich in Thumbnail-Form dargestellt. Die Möglichkeit auf eine tabellarische Ansicht bei sehr vielen Jobs umzuschalten würde die Übersichtlichkeit deutlich verbessern.
