1. DW Logging Agent: Reihenfolge der Felder im IndexInfo-Feld selbst bestimmen können (Laufzeit Objekte und Informationen)

   DocuWare nimmt beim Logging durch einen Logging-Agent die ersten 12-15 (je nach Zeichenanzahl) mit Werten belegten UserFelder mit ins »IndexInfo«-Feld (in der Reihenfolge die in der Archiv.xml ersichtlich ist). Weiß man genau welche Felder man später im LoggingFeld »IndexInfo« haben will, kann man das bei der Erstellung des Archivs mitbeeinflussen. Ist ein Archiv aber schon vollständig fertiggestellt oder sogar im Livebetrieb, dann müsste man alles aufs Neue anlegen.
   Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn wir selbst die IndexInfo-Felder bestimmen könnten, die bei der Untersuchung der Logs des jeweiligen Dokumententyps besser geeignet wären.

2. Bezeichnung der Überschrift in der Trefferliste in DW Mobile App

   Die "Überschrift" bzw. die Bezeichnung der jeweiligen Treffer in der Mobile App oder auch im WEC wird durch die Option "Dokumentname" im Archiv bestimmt.
   Diese Bezeichnung sollte losgelöst von dieser Option sowie auch losgelöst von der Ablage der Dokumente für verschiedene Ergebnislisten separat definiert werden können.

4. Ability to color code lines in the Invoice Search Dialog Box

   To provide the user(s) the ability to color code specific line items. there are line items that are not being worked due to various reasons however one has to continuously go back into the invoice to see notes as opposed to being able to highlight a line to know it can not be worked at this time, etc.

5. Make more options global

6. show open files without documents in Explorer - accommodating structured file plans

   At my institution we have a structure file plan/classification scheme that must be adhered to. Users like using the Explorer View to browse for their documents, and we've currently set it up so that the first folder layer is the file code, with the specific folders belonging to that category displaying "within" it. The issue is that open files with no electronic documents attached to them do not display to the user. We have a work-around by putting a temp file in each newly created folder. Please make these open folders with no documents in them visible!

7. Direct Access to Files Within a Document

   The current version of Docuware relies on PDF file structures but there are a great number of clients that have TIFF and DWTIFF images that are all each treated as a single clipped file in a Document. This creates a big problem for the users who wish to go directly to an image within a file with a large number of pages.

   There are 2 solutions both of which I think need to be applied to Docuware as they both solve multiple problems.

   1: Build a Pre 6 DW document to PDF file conversion workflow. This would allow clients with a very large number of very large documents to define a filter to convert exiting IMAGES to PDF. I have 1 client with 36 million images in there system and a very large number of those document have 1000 pages.

   2: ADD a goto File in the same manner that the GOTO PAGE does. This will allow anyone with a large number of files clipped to jump to a specific file. This will be a useful tool as Docuware gets larger and users continue to clip more and more files together.

   In short, it takes a VERY long time to move from file to file and in a larger document with 1000 files it takes an unacceptable length of time to move about.

   Convert to PDF fixes a great deal of this issue, adding the GOTO FILE function will help as others start to add more and more files to produce documents.

8. Menus "Suchen" und "Datensatz erstellen" zentral gestalten

   • Gliedern der Dialoge in einer Art Baumansicht/Ebenen z.B. Ebene 1 (Archiv) -> Ebene 2 (Bereich) -> Ebene 3 (Dialog), selber die Struktur und Reihenfolge bestimmen.
   • Zentrale Administration für alle Benutzer bezüglich der Struktur für die Dialoge.
   • Anzeige/Darstellung des Dialognamens (Archiv - Name des Dialog) z.B. mit selbstbestimmten Archivnamen („DisplayName“ für Archiv).
   • Wenn der Eintrag des Dialogs zu lange ist, das mit der Maus ein Tooltip mit dem vollständigen Namen/Bezeichnung angezeigt wird.

11. Flexible Einstellungsmöglichkeit bei Anzeige von Indexwerten

    Die Breite des Bereichs der Indexwerte ist starr, was bei Feldern mit einer Vielzahl von längeren Einträgen dazu führen kann, dass man nicht mehr erkennt, ob man den richtigen Eintrag ausgewählt hat, insbesondere dann, wenn die sichtbaren Zeichen zumindest überwiegend identisch sind. Folglich wäre es äußerst sinnvoll wenn man die Breite inividuell verschieben könnte.

13. wiederholen Desktop Jobs

    alle Desktop Jobs mit Warnungen sollten mit einem Klick wiederholt werden können.
    Bei fehlerhaften Jobs ist dies bereits möglich.

    Noch besser wäre es, alle oder einzelne Jobs zu markieren und nur diese dann zu wiederholen.

    Dann könnte man auch die History für markierte Jobs löschen (z.B. alle erfolgreichen)

14. documents a lock state of a document that won't allow two users to modify.

    I have several customers that would like for the user experience to include a lock state of a document that won't allow two users to modify the same document. A user may make a change to an index field and another user has the same document open and can change the same field and nullify the changes of the user...

16. Allow users to create their own Custom Searches.

    Users should be able to create their own search lookup. That way they can customize their lookup and not have to manually enter search criteria or have the Admin create their own custom lookup. It would also be nice if the user had the ability to pin and rename favorite searches. I know there is similar option called Recent searches but it is not ideal and you can't rename them.

17. Echte Content-Folder-Funktionalität: Projektmappe

    Moin,

    Alle "Verlinkungs-Funktionen" im DW-Webclient von Docuware 6.9 (statisch/dynamisch) von User zu User (also ohne den Admin fragen zu müssen) sind leider noch immer nicht so mächtig, wie der frühere Content-Folder.
    Da Aufgabenlisten vom Task-Manager leider vom Admin in der Administration (auf nur 1 Archiv) eingerichtet werden müssen, scheidet der Task-Manager hier bereits aus.

    Gewünscht wäre folgendes: Ein Anwender sucht sich aus mehreren Archiven über entsprechende Suchen Dokumente heraus. Jetzt soll jeweils nur noch eine Teilmenge aus der Ergebnisliste (statisch auf die DID) verknüpft werden, so dass ein anderer Anwender eine Art "Projektmappe" zugeschickt bekommen könnte.
    Das reine Senden eines bzw. mehrerer markierter Zeilen der Ergebnisliste als Links funktioniert bereits mit 6.9, dies enthält aber Null Metadaten..
    Der Kunde wäre sicher mit folgenden "Exporten" einverstanden:
    Der Ersteller kann eine E-Mail / eine XLS (CSV) / eine HTML-Datei mit Teilmengen erzeugen in der
    1.) die Metadaten auftauchen
    2.) ein Link auf auf die entsprechenden Dokumente im DW mit drin stehen

    (aus meiner Sicht kann bei einer Teilmenge nur eine statische Verknüpfung auf die DID funktionieren, das wäre für den Kunden auch ausreichend)

    Der bisherige CSV-Export ist nicht optimal, da die DocID darin nicht auftaucht, mit der eine Verlinkung möglich wäre.
    CSV als Dateityp scheidet auch aus, da darin keine Verlinkungen möglich sind.
    Der bisherige CSV-Export exportiert bisher (6.9) immer die gesamte Ergebnisliste und keine markierten Teilmengen - was ebenfalls überdacht werden sollte (Alle/nur markierte Ergebnisse auswählbar)

    Wenn dieser Teilmengen-Export von Links/Metadaten auch bei einer Archivübergreifenden Suche möglich wäre, dann wäre HTML aus meiner Sicht keine so schlechte Option, da der Anwender sich das dann nicht in Excel aus verschiedenen Archiven zusammenkopieren muss.

    Das bisherige Versenden von Teilmengen per Mail käme dem Kundenwunsch schon sehr nahe, nur wie gesagt fehlen dem Kunden dabei die Metadaten.

18. Lock Paperscan so user must delete after upload.

    In a HIPAA environment, once a document has been uploaded to DocuWare is must be deleted from the Mobile Device. Currently this is a user option, and there should be a setting to prevent the user from turning this off, so all documents are deleted after upload.

    Possibility to search an accentuated value with a non accentuated value in a form field and/or fulltext field.
    i.e : "eleve" can show values "élèves", "prélévement", "prélever"...
    conversely, accentuated word must not show non-accentuted values, for exemple "évén" must not show "revendeur", "prévenu" or "éventuellement" but is right for "événement".

    Prior to 6.10 there was a Power Tool called the Extension Administrator. This has been removed (probably because of GAPI). It would be nice to have a similar power tool for 6.10+.
