Connect to Outlook - PDF import - Seitenanzahl
Beim Import von PDF Dateien aus Outlook mit "Connect to Outlook" sollte es möglich sein die Seiten vorher auszuwählen.
So kann ich nur die eigentliche Rechnung ohne weitere Anhänge in das System importieren.

Add a popup icon to the DW icon in task bar if there are documents in inbox
See attached file. I had a customer Pease & Sons Inc. that made this suggestion. They have a user that is not in the system all the time but would like a notification when documents are put into her tray. This occurs as other users all put documents into her tray. If there was just a window notification or little number (see image) it would help her know that she has something to do.

Archivieren von Passwortgeschützen Dateien mit automatischer Entschlüsselung
Um der DSGVO nachzukommen versenden wir diverse e-Mail-Anhänge mit einer Passwortverschlüsselung. Die ausgehende e-Mail wird im DocuWare inklusive der verschlüsselten Datei abgelegt. Wenn diese nun wieder aufgerufen wird, kann man allerdings den Anhang im Viewer nicht öffnen. Man muss die Datei dann erst herunterladen und entschlüsseln. Da die Verschlüsselung nur für eine DSGVO-konforme Übermittlung gewählt wurde und nicht um unternehmensintern einigen Nutzern den Zugriff auf die Datei zu verwähren, wäre eine funktion, die die Datei direkt bei Ablage entschlüsselt sehr hilfreich.

Set Logging Level for Local Data Connector
Requesting the ability to manage the logging level of the Local Data Connector logs. Currently, any event ran through the data connector is logged (including the sql query ran against the database). For one of our queries, this results in a log that grows in size by 250MB to 1GB (varies based on active purchase orders and invoices) over the course of 24 hours. Would like the ability to set this to be different levels from logging everything like it currently does, to only logging errors and critical events. Automatic Stamp
There is a Module for Docuware called "AutoStamp". As DSC, this module would be useful for all my customers.
I suggest that you create a nice Config for AutoStamp instead of having to edit the xml files and publish it either in the DW Standard or as an extra Module.
Just include it in DocuWare and not run it as its own webservice, this is horrible.3 votes -
Verbesserte Benachrichtigungen bei neuen Aufgaben
Es gibt momentan keine wirkliche Benachrichtungsmöglichkeit bei neuen Workflow-Aufgaben. Man könnte im Browser über den Seitentitel "Neue Aufgaben" einblenden wie man es auch bei vielen Webmailern sieht. (Screenshot1)
Alle gängigen Browser unterstützen die Funktion Desktop-Benachrichtigung, man könnte im Systray-Icon der Desktop-Apps eine kleine Zahl einblenden (Screenshot2) oder über die Windows Desktop-Benachrichtung darauf hinweisen. Viele Kollegen bekommen erst sehr spät mit, dass Sie neue Aufgaben haben, weil sie z.B. in einem anderen Browsertab aktiv sind und es nur dann sehen, wenn Sie aktiv im Docuware-Client nachsehen. Selbst die Mobile-App zeigt kein Notify-Symbol. Da gibt es meiner Meinung nach dringend handlungsbedarf.8 votes -
Numerical Fields have a Value Limit
The numerical fields have a limit of 2,147,483,647 and -2,147,483,647, so when you try to make an entry with a higher value, you get an error. When this is converted to currency, then limit becomes 21,474,836.47 and -21,474,836.47, so multi-million (dollar) transactions can not be recorded.

Scan Operator Reporting
It would be beneficial to have some simple reporting build into DocuWare. We routinely check to see if our scan operators are scanning at least scanning at a speed to meet scan quotas. The SQL queries to do this our self is a bit frustrating since no one in support seems to know the table structure very well. They were nice enough to try and help though!

Customer's want to have the sender address as their own company when email documents within workflows.

Allow Windows login to specify user
Currently Windows Login only automatically logs you in as whatever account you're currently signed into the Windows session with. It would be great to also allow an option to specify a different windows user. This would be highly beneficial for IT admins who need to jump from account to account, like admin or SA accounts vs personal accounts.

Ability to Print from a Docuware Forms submission.
The ability to submit a Docuware Form, to have it populate to a merge form, as well as print locally, if needed.

Clipping from an external file cabinet
We have a file cabinet, Job Tracking, whose documents are packets that develop as manufacturing occurs. For example, templates are clipped at different general tasks in the workflow.
It would be great to keep the templates in another FC and be able to clip them in from there.

Date Format. Can format be set at system level as opossed to each user . European format rather than US
We have found that the date is set to US format. We are in Europe so want to have the format set to European. Support tell us that this can be done locally for each user. Would it be possible to set this at a system level rather than relying on the user to do it.

If the users browser is set to englisch (US) then the user will automatically see US formatted dates.

Übersicht nach Dokumentwechsel standardmäßig aufgeklappt
Es wäre schön wenn nach dem Aufklappen der Übersicht eines Dokumentes beim Wechsel zum nächsten Dokument die Übersicht auch schon aufgeklappt wäre.
Man könnte dann sofort sehen, wieviele Seiten das Dokument enthält und könnte die Seiten gezielt anklicken.
Im Moment muss man jedes Dokument neu aufklappen, was sehr mühsam sein kann.2 votes -

Automatically export the event log
In Docuware Cloud, only 10,000 records are allowed, our client has a lot of disagreement about this matter. How can we get the records to a local database to have all the historical event record? Through the Local Data Connector, make a connection to a local database and at the destination of registration, you can select this connection

automatische Weitergabe an physikalischen Drucker unter DW FORMS
Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn eine Möglichkeit bestünde, nach Ausfüllen eines DW Forms Formulars, eine Ausgabe an einen physikalischen Drucker zu starten (ähnlich der Möglichkeit im DW Printer), da zb: bei Rücknahmedatenblättern diese auch auf die Geräte angebracht werden müssen.

Schnellsuche/Filter für Briefkörbe,Such-& Ablagedialoge im WebClient (Einstellungen)
Es sollte auch eine Schnellsuche / Filterfunktion für den Bereich Einstellungen im Webclient geben, so wie es auch schon in der Web Administration möglich ist.
In der Web Administration kann man im Bereich "Archive" sowie z.B. "Briefkörbe" und "Connect to Outlook" filtern um z.B. ein Archiv schneller zu finden.
Diese Möglichkeit wünschen wir uns auch für den Bereich "Einstellungen" im WebClient.
Hier werden sämtliche Briefkörbe, sowie Such - & Ablagedialoge, Listen usw. wild durcheinander angezeigt.Hier wäre die Filterfunktion goldwert und würde uns und bestimmt auch anderen viel Zeit beim Suchen ersparen.

Wir haben es unserer Sammlung von Ideen und Funktionen hinzugefügt und werden es weiter untersuchen. Wir können derzeit nicht genau sagen, wann diese Idee umgesetzt wird. Sobald wir weitere Informationen haben, werden wir den Status aktualisieren.Die alphabetische Sortierung der deaktivierten Elemente haben wir für die nächste Version geplant.

Dynamische Entscheidungen in Aufgaben
WorkFlow Manager: Nicht immer benötigt eine Aufgabe alle Entscheidungen bzw. eine ganz spezifische Entscheidung. Ich wünsche mir dass man je Entscheidung festlegen kann wann diese in der Aufgabe eingeblendet wird. Ähnlich den Auslöser-Bedingungen des WorkFlows selbst.
Jeder Anwender sieht so immer die Summe aller Entscheidungen, welche man irgendwie bei dem jeweiligen Aufgabenschritt benötigt - auch wenn diese etwa aufgrund des Status des Dokuments, der betroffenen Abteilung, dem Ergebnis einer externen SQL Abfrage usw. keinen Sinn machen.
Wir behelfen uns heute damit, dass wir im Extremfall die Aufgabe mehrmals erstellen (mit vorgelagerter Bedingung), aber wir alle wissen wie aufwendig es ist…
