Zwischenspeichern von Forms-Formularen
Derzeit ist es so, dass der Anwender bei Ausfüllen eines Forms-Webformulars nur Abbrechen oder Senden kann.
Bei sehr großen Formularen kann er nicht ZWISCHENSPEICHERN, muss also im schlimmsten Fall alles von Neuem erneut ausfüllen.
Von daher wäre es optimal, wenn der User (sollte auch ein öffentliches Formular sein können) die bereits getätigten Einträge Zwischenspeichern und das begonnene Formular zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erneut aufrufen kann.

E-Mail Benachrichtigung bei Passwort Änderung
Wenn ein User sein Passwort ändert, dann soll eine E-Mail an den Admin versandt, dass der User sein Passwort geändert hat.

Data in Form fields from different source
The ability to pull data into fields on a form from another datasource.
Eg. Enter InvoiceNumber and the rest of the fields in the form is automatically filled.

Provide multi-record (multiple tasks) re-assign option. For example, when a user leaves the company and has multiple tasks assigned to him/her, we need an easy way to re-assign these tasks to a different user. Currently, it can only be done one-at-a-time.

Restore workflows in the cloud
If DocuWare expects their ADP's to move any of their larger clients into the cloud from on-premise systems, they will need to allow us to create Restore Workflows on DocuWare-Online.
Synchronizations are to unreliable, and export workflows take an excruciatingly long time to run.
We need to be able to FTP the documents up to the cloud and then only have to run a restore workflow to update the database.
Tech Support claims this would compromise security, but that doesn't make sense.

Enable sorting by Total Pages in document trays
Tray docs may be sorted by all fields except Total Pages. It's an interesting omission considering that it's the only attribute by which trays docs are not able to be sorted.

Implement a filter/search button to search for a value in a list
We have many lists for our large user group. When someone asks us to add or remove a value in a list, to my knowledge, there is no way to select a list then run a search to find if a value already exists. This is especially true where we have multi column lists.

Die sichtbare Länge von Feldern in der Suchmaske sollte begrenzt werden
Die Länge dieser Felder ergibt sich immer aus der aktuellen Breite des Browserfensters, dadurch wird das ganze sehr unhandlich, das klicken für Auswahllisten oder ähnliches wird somit unnötig erschwert.

Aktivierung der Abwesenheit ab eingetragenenm Datum
Es wäre gut, wenn die "tatsächliche" Abwesenheit ab eingetragenem Datum (im Feld "von") und nicht schon zum Zeitpunkt des Setzens des Hakens aktiviert wird (Mein Profil -> Abwesenheitseinstellungen).

need to be able to export multi-page tiff's
The windows client gave us the ability to export dwtiff's as multi-page tiff's. We still have some customers who cannot be upgraded past DW 6.7 because of the need to export dwtiff's out of DocuWare to write to micro-film to meet state requirements.
Currently if dwtiff's are downloaded, each document becomes a separate zip file with all of the individual dwtiff's inside of it. Please bring back this feature to the web client.
Using DocuWare's API functions in the same way.

You can't create a document tray when creating new user, if a file cabinet has not been assigned to user.
With DocuWare's emphasis on using roles instead of individual assignments, this causes problems.

Manuelle Massenzuweisung an Vertretung in Krankheitsfällen für Dokumente die zuvor gestartet wurden-derzeit für Admin sehr zeitintensiv.
Manuelle Massenzuweisung Zuweisung an die Vertretung des MA z.B. in Krankheitsfällen für Dokumente die zuvor gestartet wurden-derzeit für Admin sehr zeitintensiv.Wir haben immer wieder den Fall, dass ein MA krankheitsbedingt abwesend ist oder im Urlaub sich befindet. Die Abwesenheit korrekt eingetragen wurde, die Vetretung aber nicht greift, da die einzelen Dokumente bereits vor dem Abwesenheitsdatum im Workflow gestartet wurden. Dann muss der Admin jedes einzelne Dokument manuell zuweisen, hierbei stürzt DW zu einem immer wieder ab( eine Fehleursache wurde noch nicht gefunden) und ist zudem sehr umständlich. Eine Bündelung in Kombiniation mit einer Massenzuweisung an die Vertretung, der betreffenden Dokumente…

Kommentare in Word im DocuWare Vorschau anzeigen
Kommentare in Word Datei wird momentan nicht in DocuWare Vorschau angezeigt. Man muss über "Bearbeiten" die Word Datei in Office Anwendung öffnen, dann sieht man erst die Kommentare. Bitte die Funktion "Anzeige von Word-Kommentaren im DW Viewer" umsetzen.

I suggest that you enable a visual display of document categories in folder form. (The same way you can view folders and subfolders plus files)

Disable "Create Data File" as a User Option
Too many times I've seen users accidentally index as a data file, when they meant to index an image in their tray. Maybe there could be a way to disable this "feature" as 99.9% of my customers would never intent to store only data.
