1. Function to lock a fillable PDF in the workflow to prevent further modification

   The overall process surrounding the question is a PO Form, which I’ve created in DocuWare. That form triggers an Approval workflow. In the workflow I also add line totals, overall total and the name of the final approver onto the fillable PDF document. Once the document is approved, the workflow sends the PO to the supplier. The problem is that at this moment the order is still fillable… I need that document to be a non-fillable PDF… Problem is that I can’t create the non-fillable PDF with the form as I then can’t add the line totals etc. to the form in the workflow…So, an option to lock the PO via the workflow would be the perfect solution.

2. Deny users to create a "Personal Stamp".

   Currently, Any user can create a personal stamp and update the document(s) metadata without any validation.

   From the Configuration page, "Configure Stamp" permission under functional profile doesn't affect "Personal Stamps", and the user will still have the permissions to create stamps and use it.

   In the case we have a workflow process with one task contain two decisions (Approved, Rejected), the decision will affect "status" filed to be updated as (approved, rejected).

   Users need to have the permission of (write, modify) on the "status" field to take the decisions, at the same time user can create a personal stamp with fixed entry into the status filed, and change it to any unwanted value ( ABC, XYZ, or any other value).

4. Improve keyword string splitting mechanism

   When you put a string inside a keyword field/variable, the system split the string in separate keyword entries at each space or comma in the string wich is simply horrible to handle.

   You have a dirty workaround solution by putting your string in a text variable concatenated with quotes and then assign the text variable in the keyword field.

   Plus, currently, if there is quotes inside the string itself (for example, french words and/or expressions are using quotes), your trick with the intermediate string variable doesn't work at all...

   You should add the possibility, in the data assignations inside the workflow designer AND/OR directly at field configuration, to specifiy the save mode "KeyWord mode" or "String mode" for example.
   This way we will not be forced to put a string inside a variable concatenated with quotes at each keyword assignation (seriously, that's a crazy aberration... This should be managed natively)

5. Viewer soll sich nicht schließen wenn Aufgabe geöffnet und man dann in einen anderen Bereich wechselt

   Wenn man über die Aufgaben ein Dokument im Viewer geöffnet hat und dann bspw. auf Verknüpfungen geht oder auf die Suche, schließt sich direkt das Dokument, obwohl noch kein neues ausgewählt wurde.
   Viele Nutzer stört dieses Verhalten.
   Kann man das ändern?

6. search folders

   Folders is a great concept, but when you have a lot of folders it does not work. If you could conduct a search of the folders then get a list of the folders that contain that search - that would be really nice.

7. Über Workflow-Historie Workflow-Aufgabe in Controller-Funktion öffnen

   Als Benutzer mit Controller-Funktion (z. B. Buchhaltung) kommt es oft vor, dass man Dokumente über das Archiv sucht und sich dann die Workflow-Historie anschaut. Hier kommt man oft an den Punkt, die Workflow-Aufgabe öffnen zu müssen um diese bearbeiten zu können.
   Zurzeit muss man hierzu dann wieder die Controller-Funktion anwählen, den richtigen Workflow, die richtige Workflow-Version und die richtige Aufgabe wählen, was bei mehreren hundert oder mehreren tausend Aufgaben nicht ganz so einfach ist.

   Schön wäre es, wenn man (insofern man die entspr. Berechtigung besitzt) in der Historie auf einen Button drücken könnte und sich die Workflow-Aufgabe dann im Controller-View öffnet.

8. Shorten the long URL that points to a Result List

   When we mail the Result List URL using the "Send Result List" option, the result list URL is very long.

9. Can you add a Skip feature when storing documents?

   After selecting a group of documents from a tray and dragging them to the store dialog, if I find I have an issue with a document and I want to leave it in the tray and not store it, I have to press cancel and re-select the remaining documents and again dragto the dialog. Can a skip icon be added so we can stop doing this and instead after storing the final document the screen returns to the documents I skipped?

11. Hyperlink Page of Document in DocuWare Web Client

    It would be nice to be able to link any page of a document in DocuWare web client to a website. For example, if you are attaching a tracking page from ups.com, it would be nice to click on that page and pull up the same information on ups.com.

    Allow the use of arithmetic expressions in forms. This would be used to either populate cabinet fields with form fields or work out calculations on the forms.

14. Allow us to set the Workflow stamp location on a Form

    Would like to designate where the workflow stamp is placed on a form, or at least to designate a page other than the first page for placement of the workflow stamp. If the workflow has many steps with stamps, it starts covering up the form and sometimes the other stamps already placed.

15. Kommentar- / Dokumentations- / Visualisierungsmöglichkeiten im Workflow

    Es sollten für die Dokumentation, Übersichtlichkeit und Verständlichkeit eines Workflows folgende Funktionen eingebaut werden:

    Info- / Kommentarfelder in Aktitivitäten
    Es sollte in allen Aktivitäten ein neuer Tab namens Kommentar oder Info geben. Dort wird WF intern eine Info zu dieser Aktivität hinterlegt.
    Sobald etwas hinterlegt wurde, soll neben dem Bearbeitungsstift und der Löschtonne ein Inforamtionssysmbol erscheinen, bei welchem mithilfe vom drüber hovern mit der Maus ein Pop-Up, in welchem die Info der Aktivität drin steht, aufgeht.

    "Dokumentation" Reiter
    Im linken Reiter, in welchem die Aktivitäten, Variablen und der Validierungsstatus stehen, sollte ein neue Gruppierung namens "Dokumentation" entstehen.
    Dort sollte man als Auswahl ein Gruppierungsrahmen, Textfeld und Informationsobjekt (leere Aktivität nur mit dem Tab "Dokumentation") haben.

    Gruppierungsrahmen
    Einrahmen von einem gewissen Gebiet im Workflow, um dies von dem Rest visuell zu trennen.

    Textfeld
    Textfeld für Kurztexte wie eine Überschrift.
    Beispielsweise im Verbindung mit dem Gruppierungsrahmen als Überschrift.

    Informationsobjekt
    Objekt für längere Texte, um beispielsweise die Gruppierung zu erklären oder ähnliches, damit die längeren Texte nicht im Workflow alles überdecken.

    Visualisierung
    Es sollte möglich sein, die Aktivitätsobjekte umzufärben.
    Aber auch die oben genannten Dokumentationspunkte sollte einfärbbar sein.
    Beispielsweise sollte der Gruppierungsrahmen einen Rahmen mit der Vollfarbe haben und ein transparenten Hintergrund.

16. Select a sender when I send an e-mail through workflow activity

    At the work flow when there is an activity with an e-mail, I can send the e-mail to differents addressee but if I want to change the sender or select the sender who have to send the e-mail it's impossible, isn't it, because always choose the sender from e-mail service, and as I see always have to be the same, so please how can I change the sender when I program to send an e-mail through activity from the workfrow. I think it will be very interesting to have the oportunity to select the sender because not always the e.-mail comes from the same department.

17. Bemerkungsfeld im Workflow-Manager

    So wie es Bemerkungsfelder in den Dialogen gibt, sollte es auch die Möglichkeit von Bemerkungsfelder im Workflow-Manager geben.
    Wir haben öfter die Anforderung, dass eine Historie an Entscheidungen mit Begründungen während des Workflows mitgeführt werden sollen. Dafür möchte ich aber Mehrzeiligen Text eingeben was aktuell noch nicht machbar ist.

18. Ability to store a Form in Document Tray or File Cabinet

    Currently you can only store a Form directly into a File Cabinet with a store dialog. Need ability to store into a Document Tray as well. When storing with Import, Printer or email you have option to store document into Document Tray or File Cabinet
