Geänderte Feldnamen automatisch für alle Dialoge aktualisieren
Wenn sich Feldnamen ändern, sollte es eine Möglichkeit geben diese einfach auf alle Dialoge und Listen zu aktualisieren. Bei einer hohen Anzahl von Dialogen und Listen, verursacht eine Feldnamensänderung einen exterem hohen Aufwand.

Connect to Mail ein Dokument pro Anhang
Ein Lieferant schickt eine E-Mail mit vielen Rechnungen im Anhang.
Wenn diese mit Connect to Mail archiviert wird, wäre es sehr komfortabel wenn jede Rechnung als einzelnes Dokument im portiert werden kann.
Dann entfällt das auseinander klamüsern im Briefkorb.9 votes -
Add something that hides stamps/annotations for certain users when they have to open the document outside of DocuWare via links
Whenever users open documents in the DocuWare view, they always see all the stamps and annotations. There should be a feature that hides users from seeing these annotations/stamps/notes.

Automatically change label names when you change a database field name
Currently, when you change the name of a database field, the dialogs all keep the old field name as a "Label". This forces me to go into every dialog (including result list and index dialogs) and erase the label so that it matches the new field name.
When I'm changing a database field name, it is because a customer wants the field name to change everywhere.

Searching multiple values within one field
We have a file cabinet called Connections, in Connections we have fields such as Company, Document Type, Installer, Dates, FullText field
I would like the option to select multiple companies to search upon.
For example: Selecting multiple companies from the drop down of the Company field, then either selecting a certain document type, or a certain fulltext, or none at all, just selecting multiple companies and clicking search to see all the pdfs associated

Nur Anmerkungen der aktuellen Version des Dokuments sichtbar
Wäre es nicht sinvoll im Rahmen von Freigabe Workflows für versionierte Dokumente, dass nur die Anmerkungen (Stempel) sichtbar sind, welche auf die aktuelle Version des Dokuments angebracht wurden.
Es werden praktisch bei der Erstellung einer neuen Version alle alten Anmerkungen mitgenommen. In unserem Fall ist, dass aber nicht sinnvoll weil es für jede Version eine Freigabe gibt und es bis zu teilweise auch bis zu 15 Versionen geben kann.9 votes -

Please let see Certified Digital Signature of a document on DocuWare Visor.
Now if you want to know if a document is Certified, you must download and open with a PDF visor to look the Valid signature.

Es sollte in der Lizenzverwaltung eine Übersicht geben, wie viele Concurrent Lizenzen frei sind bzw von welchem User diese verwendet werden.

Icons in Werkzeugeleiste vergrößern
Die Icons in der Werkzeugleiste sollten vergrößert werden können. Bei höheren Auflösungen werden die sehr klein.

Automatische Markierung von Werten in einem Index-Feld, wenn Sie aus einer Auswahlliste stammen oder mit bestehenden Werten übereinstimmen
Wenn z.B. der Intellix Indexfelder befüllt, dann ist nicht ersichtlich, ob der Wert, der in dem Feld eingetragen ist, mit Werten übereinstimmt, die bereits vorhanden sind.
Beispiel: der Intellix füllt das Feld GP mit "Huber GmbH"; wenn ich weiß, dass es bereits weitere Dokumente von dem GP im System gibt, ist nicht ersichtlich, ob der Intellix auch tatsächlich die bereits bestehende Schreibweise in das Feld gefüllt hat.
In Österreich wird die GmbH auch gerne mit GesmbH abgekürzt; bestehende Dokumente könnten also unter dem GP "Huber GesmbH" archiviert sein.

Support for S3 and OpenStack-compatible object storage protocols
Docuware should support data access using S3 and OpenStack-compatible object storage protocols. These are currently the most popular standards for accessing cloud storage and is becoming increasingly popular on premise. OSS would create accessibility and compatibility between internal and external space. This would allow users to tier and expand their on premise space to extend to the cloud in case of failure or WAN. If done correctly Docuware could connect on premise systems to CLOUD systems for live fallback, syncing & mirroring as well as other benefits.

Add regular expressions / regex to the full text search
It would really be useful if you could do a full text search using a regular expression / regex pattern.
The need here is to find all the documents containing certain types of personal data, e.g. NHS number, credit card number, National Insurance number etc.

Tasks: undo button
It sometimes happen to approve a document in a task too hastily; it would be nice to have an "undo" button to come back to the document in question.

Allow the ability to delete stamps and leave the data in the log.
We have operating procedures that get modified monthly and have to go through an approval process. We are accumulating pages and pages of approval stamps on the end of our procedures. Also, when we check out a document to insert a photo, for example, it pushes the pages down and the stamps stay in place and cover the text of the document. It looks sloppy and unprofessional to auditors and customers. We need a better solution for multiple stamps on documents in file cabinets that use revision control.

Schachtsteuerung geht verloren im Weiterdruck
Moin,
beim Kunden haben wir aktuell das Problem dass mittels Wordvorlagen für den bisherigen physischen Drucker auch die Input-Trays gesteuert werden. Beim Versuch über den DW-Printer weiterzudrucken gehen diese Schachtinformationen verloren - der Drucker zieht nur noch Blanco-Papier..
Beim Versuch ein Tool zu nutzen, welches zeitgleich in 2 virtuelle Queues druckt (nämlich in die Warteschlange des physikalischen Druckers und zum DW-Printer) scheitert es bereits im Word, da dann dort bereits die Trays nicht mehr wählbar sind..
Wir benötigen Dringend eine Implementierung, die eine Schachtsteuerung erhält bzw. neu definiert - bei einer Neu-Definition sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass dies NACH dem…9 votes -
Add an "Attach from DocuWare" button to the Outlook Ribbon
In Connect to Outlook, there is no way to search for a document when replying to an e-mail. For example: If I receive an e-mail from a customer requesting a copy of their contract. I click “reply” to this e-mail but the only way to attach the contract is to have a Windows Explorer search tree establish. However, using the Windows Explorer tree view is dependent on me knowing exactly where the contract is located in the folder structure, or which version of the contract is the correct one.

Add ability to save your desktop setup as Workspace's
Concerning the general layout of the two possible desktop areas (where you choose two panes or one) of DW.
We all use trays, searches, lists and task in certain layouts but it tends to get busy especially as a system admin or someone with access to multiple Filing Cabinets.
It would be nice to save a layout and name it. I like to have both areas set up on different Trays so I can drag and drop items back and forth to hit certain Intelligent Indexing/Storage configs. Then I have another view that shows a list of recently stored documents…

Stellvertreter und Vorgesetzten durch Anwender angeben lassen
Wenn ein Anwender z.B. in Urlaub geht, wäre es besser, wenn dieser seinen Stellvertreter und/oder Vorgesetzten selbst bestimmen könnte. Denn oftmals weiß der Anwender nur selbst, wer ihn optimal vertreten kann. Dies wäre insbesondere beim Workflow Manager von Vorteil, dass die Belege dann direkt an die richtige Person verteilt werden.
Parallel dazu könnte man auch den LDAP/AD-Sync erweitern und diese Info's aus dem Active Directory ziehen.

WF-Aufgabe mit Trigger
Manchmal haben wir das Problem, das eine WF-Aufgabe durch ein externes Ereignis/Programm/AIX erledigt werden soll. Folgendes Beispiel: Eine Rechnung landet in der WF-Aufgabe "Rechnung buchen". Die Buchhaltung muss nun die Rechnung in z.b. DATEV buchen und dann in der WF-Aufgabe mit der Auswahl "gebucht" bestätigen. Nun soll aber noch geprüft werden, ob die Rechnung tatsächlich in DATEV gebucht worden ist. Dazu baut man eine weitere WF-Aufgabe "Buchung prüfen" ein und weist diese dem DW-Admin zu. Ein Autoindex würde dann irgendwann ein Abgleich mit Datev durchlaufen und den Status der Rechnung auf "freigegeben" setzen. Die Änderung (Trigger) des Status soll dazu…
