  1. Reset on Store Dialog keeps previous index entries ... Add a clear all option

    Reset in DW6 resets changes made to preindexed index entries (this is a good feature) -- Reset in DW5 removed all of the data in the index fields. Suggest adding the option to do the same in DW6 ... such as adding a clear entries button.

  4. Expand the Keep Entries dialog to the field level so that users can store multiple documents of similar type

    It looks like DocuWare 6.6 allows users to Keep Entries in the Windows Explorer store dialog in a way that the File Name field changes with each file. The web client does not function in the same way (i.e. if Keep Entries is checked, then all fields will be remain the same. Could you make Keep Entries more modular/precise by having a check box next to each field so that users could choose which entries they want to keep and which they'd like to input different values? I mostly think users would like to uncheck the File Name field and…

  5. Allow Scrolling to "Next Document" on Non-document File Formats

    The Web Client shuts down or displays an error and will not allow scrolling to the next file if a audio or video is stored. This was not the case in the Full Client.

  6. Allow unstapling of multiple documents in web basket

    In 6.5 web basket, would be nice to be able to unstaple multiple documents. Current naming convention is "Unstapled Document (X)" where (X) is page #. Could be redone as something like "Unstapled Document 'original name here' (X)"

  7. Make the used filters in the dynamic lists to stick after logout/login

    Hello,
    When using a list, you can filter it on each column, which is great for several users to use the same list with different approaches.
    However, when refreshing the page or logging out, the used filters are not saved for the users in the list tab.
    It's hard to understand for the users because it's a feature you already implemented on the Tasks tab. Every time you filter your tasks, the filter stays even though you're disconnecting and come back after.

  8. Allow Releasing of a Hold Task in Workflow

    We would be interested for an option to release tasks on Hold early. Workflow Tasks that are put on Hold are not seen at all in the Windows Client, not even in Monitor Tasks. The only way to intervene at all is to stop them in the Workflow Designer > Options tab > Active Instances if you can find your Instance ID, which is not intuitive at all. Then they need to be restarted from the beginning.

  9. Export a list of user with their roles, groups and more

    It is possible to export a list of users from the configuration menu, but it is not possible to have their roles or groups.

    It would be nice to have such an option and maybe even more informations related to a user.

  10. dropdowns

    Customers are confused by the new 7.12 forms and how they handle dropdowns. Before, they could just type text into the field as soon as they tab into it, and it would start filtering. Now, the field doesn't respond to them typing until they press Enter. This isn't a massive adjustment, but they have many, many users on the form, so re-training users is causing them headaches.

  11. Add Permissions to restrict access to Profile & Settings

    There are some situations, like if there is a guest user account or if there are certain security requirements for users, where restricting access to change usernames, passwords, tool visibility, etc. could be helpful.

  12. Make fields in Table fields required based on values from other fields in the row..

    Hi. Make fields required dynamically based on values from the same row of fields(or from a lookup into a system/config file cabinet) ex..
    in many AP solutions you have rules in the accounting where ex a specific Account requires that ex field purpose/department needs to be filled out.. and on some Accounts its not required. it would be great if you could control this behavior ex via a lookup into a datasource..

  13. Anhänge in PDFs automatisch archivieren und/oder extrahieren

    Durch E-Rechnungen kommt es immer öfter vor, dass Kunden Tätigkeitsberichte bei ZUGFeRD-Rechnungen im PDF angehangen bekommen. Diese können stand jetzt nicht von DocuWare aus dem PDF extrahiert werden. Die müsste bitte dringend umgesetzt werden.
    Wir greifen die Rechungen nämlich automatisiert ab und der Kunde muss die ZUGFeRD-Rechung nochmal herunterladen und die angehangenen Dokumente nochmal aus dem PDF herunterladen und manuell einspielen. Das nimmt sehr viel Zeit in Anspruch. Insgesamt machen das weit über 30 Lieferanten unserer Kunden.

  14. Add option to disable scrolling to the next page

    Add an option to disable the change made to scrolling in 7.10 that automatically changes the viewed page of the document when the user scrolls to either the very top, or bottom of the page.

  15. Add an area that describes where a desktop app connection is being used

    In Profile and Settings there is a place where you can revoke a token. The issue is if more than one Desktop connection is listed, you have no idea of which connection to revoke. Be nice to have some sort of data to be able to tell them apart.

  16. Allow selection of attachments stored with emails with Connect to Outlook

    When an email is being stored via Connect to Outlook, not all attachments are needed. It would be great if people can just select only those attachments within an email they want to store. For example, if there are 5 attachments and they want to store three of the attachments, they should be able to check off which ones they want to store.

    This saves space because currently, we are paying for both the attachments within an email and then the additional copies DocuWare is extracting of each attachment to show in the preview pane.

  17. introduce the "Store all with the current index entries" in Outlook

    This is a feature which is available in DocuWare when selecting multiple documents from a document tray and then selecting the Store button. Ideally when a user is filing multiple emails from outlook using the store feature, the user will be able to enter the index field values once for several documents at once (as can be done from the document tray)

  18. Convert form attachments to PDF

    We have a form that employees use to submit credit card receipts. The form itself does come into DocuWare as a PDF. The attachments are in whatever format the employee attached, and this can’t change as they could be many various formats. We are looking for the ability in DocuWare to convert the form attachments to PDF during the form submission process.

  19. Expand Field Behaviors to Allow for Requiring a Minimum/Maximum Number of Entries for Checkboxes

    Currently, In DocuWare, there is no easy way to require users to select a minimum or maximum number of boxes in a checkbox field.

    This would also be useful for the Table type.

  20. Save User's Viewer Settings after Browser Close

    In current versions of DocuWare, any settings a user set in the previous session are often reset when the user closes and opens a browser before logging into DocuWare. It would be helpful if there were a way for users to save their zoom level, font settings, etc.
