Visibility of the workflow document when openning the linked documents
The preview of the document selected from workflow should be remains open when openning the linked documents. This is the functionality of Docuware 6.1. Now in the Docuuware 6.7 this functionality has been removed. Currently the preview of the document selected from Tasks is closed when you look into linked documents.

URL integration to allow the pre-population of an Eform
Ability to a customer to convert their pre-printed forms into digital forms but not have to manually capture all of the field information when it is already available from a 3rd party data source.

bring back the ability to copy search results and paste into Excel
We had this feature in our previous version of Docuware. We recently upgraded to 6.6 and lost this feature. It's handy for reporting.

Watermarking of documents
Would like the possibility of setting DocuWare so any/chosen documents that are downloaded/printed/emailed contain a customisable watermark with the companies name/logo

Just like you can export a csv from a result list, it would be nice to export your workflow tasks as a csv

Ability to disable printing without annotations
We want to limit our users to only print documents as PDF with annotations.
or Send only as PDF with annotations.
When we originally set up docuware we were printing our payable checks into docuware then sending the images to a check printer.
We never dreamed the image would be so clear that the same check can be reprinted to the check printer multiple times from docuware with possible "Fraud" issues.
We added a non-negotiable image to the checks (after the discovery)
which corrects the issue going forward.

Calculate Index Data using index field values
Be able to calculate fields by other fields index data. Example:
Invoice Amount: 36.00
Invoice Payment: 20.00
Then be able to put an equation in a field called:

Docuware Trays Dropdown needs to show number of files in tray
It would be nice to have the number of files in each tray display on the drop down. This way I don't have to open the tray to see if anything needs to be processed. Please see attachment for example.

Versioning - Replace document
An option 'Replace Document' using with Versioning should be interesting. Actually, versioning allows to modify index entries and modify or attach documents to the original one, but not to replace (delete) the original one.
This is usefull for versioning when a new document becomes the latest needed documents.
This is done by lot of competitors

all fields capitalized
Please bring back the ability to force all fields being capitalized!
This kind of practice of removing features that users have grown to depend on, almost caused a revolt in one of tech sessions at DocuWorld.
Here's an example of what happens when changes aren't thought through completely and/or actual users aren't consulted first:
The select list consists of Townships with only the first letter capitalized. Since upgrading to 6.12 this week, the user must type exactly in the case format of the select list, or they can't store doc.
For instance, typing 'elkhart' brings up 'Elkhart' in the select…

Fuzzy Searching Capability

Field setting changes on all result views
If we have 15 result views and if we need to change the select list of an specific field, we need to manually change each single result view. We suggest to have a method to adjust all the fields at the same time. The tool might show a pop up to select the result views we want to change.

Enable on Webclient enhanced search for booleans (and, or) option that works with two o more fields
If you have to search for example field name=Jhon or lastname=Dhoe is not possible on Webclient because always search using AND.

It would be great if each user could set his notifications preferences on how to get the emails from the workflow manager. For example :
1. send me a mail for each task
2. send me a mail once a day

Create barcode in forms merge
It would be helpful to be able to generate a 2D barcode which combines multiple index values while generating a PDF form from a web form. This way you could embed all the index values into a single barcode for simple index capture if the form needs to be printed and re-scanned.
