  1. One click copy

    While indexing, would like ability to click index field name and copy the information in the field. This would eliminate the need to double click and press "Ctrl+V," speeding copying of long transaction numbers, difficult-to-spell names, etc.

  2. Allow user to set additional preferences for DocuWare Viewer pop out window

    Would like to be able to have the DocuWare Viewer open in same window while indexing and in new window while searching. Currently, the only options are "Always show DocuWare Viewer in same window" and "Open DocuWare Viewer in a new window." These options should be expanded.

    While it is handy to view the document immediately next to the empty indexing fields, having the document appear next to search results is cumbersome. The crowded window means the user has to scroll left and right to check indexed information. Since the page resets its alignment when a user sorts a search…

  4. Pivot Data

    Get the possibility to create summary tables to get information about open documents and their corresponding status.
    This information would be generated by different columns based on customer needs

  5. Disable Annotations when viewing Documents in a Document Tray/Web Basket.

    Annotations rights are only controlled at the File Cabinet Profile level. Some users would like to be able to the ability to use annotations on documents in a Document Tray/Web Basket.

  6. Allow the ability to change the field order in multiple task lists in DocuWare Admin Online

    Currently, you have to go through each individual task list and change the order of the fields one by one. It would be extremely time saving to be able to apply the field order changes to multiple task lists at the same time if they have the same fields.

  7. Print direct to printer

    I would like to be able to print documents direct to a printer without having first to print them as a pdf.

    Presently I need to print a document to pdf and then send it to the printer from my pdf viewer. Additionally, each document printed in this way leaves a window open in my pdf viewer, and these need to be closed manually rather than being closed once the instruction to print on a printer has been sent.

    It also means that if I am viewing the document in DocuWare it is being loaded twice, once in DocuWare's own…

  8. Document Sections

    It would be nice if it was possible to make divisions within a file (i.e. in Personnel Documents you can have sections that can be sorted by items like absences or applications).

  10. add previous week day (work day) to the document store date dropdown

    gives you the ability to email yourself a report of document types from the previous day/ previous workday.

  12. Customisation of the viewer

    With DW4x we could customise access rights in the viewer directly in the admin tool. This however, is not possible in the new web client. It would be good if we got this feature back with 6.x onwards. Is this something that is on the roadmap

  14. Co-Editing documents

    Docuware needs to activate editing documents simultaneously on different users! And invite peoples. One document- multiple users editing simultaneously. M-Files has this functionality!!

  17. Have more field to set up user. I.E. : Service or Departement

    Hello,
    It could be nice if we can have more field for the user setting, for example to set Service Or Department attached to the user.
    For example it could be usefull to filter tasklist.
    Today, when users create document, they can set up the department or service (if I have create such index of course). In the tasklist, I can filter the task by this index, but that's mean that I have to create as tasklist that I have service or department (not very usefull to support).

  18. Ability to have an offline mode, on the system.

    Ability to have an offline mode, in case of Weak service or no Internet,one can still work with the system.And the workflow does not appear to be Intuitive for beginners

  20. Improve the ability to find documents after a name change has occurred.

    When a vendor or client has a name change, we would like to be able to retrieve the documents that are indexed with the old name, using the new name.
    For instance, Company is ABC and there are 100 documents indexed using ABC as the index in the Client Name field. Company ABC has a name change to company XYZ. When retrieving a document using XYZ, it should also retrieve the documents indexed as ABC.
