  1. Open Workflow Task from a Search/Result List

    Since there is no way to filter a Workflow, it would be nice to Open the current activity from a Search/Result List. For example, you can open the Workflow History, but you should be able to take the next activity

    We have many workflows where the process is sending the date and time of an event in an automated e-mail through workflow manager using the date / time feature. It would be wonderful if we could have the option in workflow designer to generate a calendar invite.

  4. Stamping multiple documents in a single step be restored to the web client

    Stamping of multiple documents/pages were available in the Windows client. We have a customer with a urgent need for this feature in the web client after using this in the Windows client

  5. merge layers in a workflow

    add an option to be able to merge layers as part of a workflow so I don't have to create a task for someone to manually click the 'merge layers' button.

  6. Allow the 'Create Data Record' option available in the web client to also be available in Workflow Manager

    Allow the Assign Data activity to create data records in a file cabinet. Two use cases where this might be useful; the posting of GL records for invoices, where invoices are in one cabinet and GL records in another as a 1 to many relationship. And the prepopulating of index data for documents that may be added later, such as a PO for an Invoice or a Shipping Manifest or BoL.

  7. Add ability in DocuWare Tasks and WorkFlow to create a task without having a document already created.

    Sometimes users need to be assigned a task to do a specific function such as create documents. Currently, a user would need to create a document to request a new task to create a new document. Once the task has been submitted and workflow started the original "request" document is not needed or useful.

    Adding the ability to Create a task that includes data fields that are customizable by administrators and for specific users to see would solve many issues. I envision that there would be a button under tasks that would say Create a task and based on the…

    How important is this to you?

    You can accomplish this currently by creating a database entry from a document tray. Just unselect all documents and the store button will be a “Create database entry” button. Then enter index entries that would trigger a workflow. The workflow will just start like with a document and you have the possibility to add a document at any later time.

  8. Introduce a Brief Course on the Business Use Cases of Workflow

    The LMS provides several courses for DSC's on the components of DocuWare Workflow and in fact a pre-requisite for the course is a DSC certification. It would be ideal that a short business course is designed for DSAs to aid them with understanding several business uses of workflow and mention them during their engagements with prospects. The business uses of workflow are indeed embedded in the various case studies listed on the DocuWare website . it would be ideal to so as to say extract such cases and centralize them.   9. Add the option to select a merge form to send from the email task

    When dealing with a webform with multiple merge forms, DocuWare does not have the function to select between them in order to only send one document out, and later in the workflow to add the second document to send out , lets use the following scenario , a customer needs to pay for a service , thus a invoice needs to be generated and sent out, after proof of payment was received DocuWare workflow needs to generate a receipt of payment, using the same workflow with multiple merge forms.

  13. E-Mail by date

    It would be usefull, to get an email because of date not only by event.
    A resubmission is needed on that date or 3 days before.
    In this case there is no event, to get one I Need to build an extra autoindex Job.
