1. Allow an option to turn off edit multiple index entries

   Many of our clients want to restrict users' ability to specifically edit multiple index entries, while still allowing them to edit a single index entry. The reason being is that they don't want them to select multiple documents and accidentally either delete a field or change it to something incorrect. It's fine if they had the ability to edit index entries for a single document, but currently you either have the option to edit index entries or you don't. You can't break it down to a singular vs. multiple level. I think this would be a useful future if you could. Or at the very least if there could be a way to revert changes so that if a user accidentally made changes they could go back to the original index entries.

2. Vorschau im Windows Explorer aktivieren

   Im Windows Explorer -Client von Docuware wird generell keine Dateivorschau angezeigt.

   Das Dokument wird nur angezeigt, wenn man es per Doppelklick öffnet, dann öffnet sich ein Browserfenster mit dem Dokument darin.

   Es wäre gut, wenn hier zumindest das "nackte" Dokument (ohne Stempel usw.) in der Explorer-Vorschau z.B. mit dem installierten PDF-Reader o.ä. angezeigt würde, so als wäre es ganz normal im Dateisystem abgelegt.

   Da die Browseransicht von DocuWare immer sehr langsam ist (insb. das Blättern innerhalb von PDFs) könnte dies unsere Arbeit erheblich beschleunigen, da die Anzeige über das PDF-Reader-Programm erheblich schneller geht und nicht immer alle Notizen und Stempel angezeigt werden müssen.

   Im Moment ist es möglich, dass die ZUGFeRD Informationen über den DW-Import und Connect to Outlook ausgelesen werden.
   Dies sollte auch über das Modul Connect to Mail möglich sein.

4. Veränderte Versionsnummer als Auslöserbedingung im Workflow Manager

   Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn man wieder das Systemfeld "Versionsnummer" im Workflow Manager als Auslöser Bedingung zur Verfügung steht.

   Hintergedanke: Wenn eine neue Version eines Dokuments veröffentlicht wird, sollte automatisch eine Aktion z.B. Benachrichtigung der Gruppe/Rolle "XY" erfolgen.

5. Das Setzen von Abwesenheit für WF-Manager sollte durch Chefs möglich sein

   Moin,

   derzeit muss ein Admin im Funktionsprofil das Recht "Benutzerverwaltung" haben um die Abwesenheit anderer Mitarbeiter setzen zu können. Dafür wird meines Wissens nach zusätzlich die DW-Administration benötigt.
   Dies ist ein hoher, administrativer Aufwand für die wenigen Admins, z.B. wenn Mitarbeiter erkranken.

   Wunsch wäre eine Abwesenheitsverwaltung (für WF-Manager) in der Web-Administration - gern auch als eigenes Recht in der Administration.
   Noch wichtiger wäre eine Abhängigkeit von der Hirarchie - alle Chefs oberhalb von MA XY dürfen das - oder bis zu 5 Berechtigte darf sich ein Anwender aussuchen..

6. File Cabinets in Alphabetical Order for Searches

   I have 90 some file cabinets. I manually put them in alphabetical order. When I do a search they are not in alphabetical order. I have four columns to hunt through. It would seem that each column would be in alphabetical order. Not user friendly.

7. Add ability to save your desktop setup as Workspace's

   Concerning the general layout of the two possible desktop areas (where you choose two panes or one) of DW.

   We all use trays, searches, lists and task in certain layouts but it tends to get busy especially as a system admin or someone with access to multiple Filing Cabinets.

   It would be nice to save a layout and name it. I like to have both areas set up on different Trays so I can drag and drop items back and forth to hit certain Intelligent Indexing/Storage configs. Then I have another view that shows a list of recently stored documents when I'm checking the storage values.

   So I have to click and find the trays, searches, lists... and activate the ones I need. Not a huge amount of work but a way to save the layouts would be awesome.

   This could be configurable through a users' settings and via system configs like DW has done with Lists. You could also add the ability to lock down a certain set of Workspaces to simplify user training and standardize the customer experience.

11. Allow Windows Authentication on DocuWare Mobile

    Systems with a lot of users will most likely use LDAP or AD synchronization to pull the users.

    I suggest that you allow users to authenticate using Windows Authentication on the Mobile app. It would be very helpful when rolling this out to a lot of users. Users can do that already when logging in from a Web browser.

    Als Benutzer mit Controller-Funktion (z. B. Buchhaltung) kommt es oft vor, dass man Dokumente über das Archiv sucht und sich dann die Workflow-Historie anschaut. Hier kommt man oft an den Punkt, die Workflow-Aufgabe öffnen zu müssen um diese bearbeiten zu können.
    Zurzeit muss man hierzu dann wieder die Controller-Funktion anwählen, den richtigen Workflow, die richtige Workflow-Version und die richtige Aufgabe wählen, was bei mehreren hundert oder mehreren tausend Aufgaben nicht ganz so einfach ist.

    Schön wäre es, wenn man (insofern man die entspr. Berechtigung besitzt) in der Historie auf einen Button drücken könnte und sich die Workflow-Aufgabe dann im Controller-View öffnet.

    Please update the Web Client file format template to include .txt and .msg files when storing through the Explorer Client. See attached for discrepancies. These documents were all stored via Explorer Client, but don't display their file types in the Web Client.

15. Workflow - Einblenden weitere Prüfungsschritte nur bei bestimmtem Wert z.B. ja

    Wenn ein Nutzer bei der Bearbeitung einer Workflow-Entscheidung einen Eintrag mit einem bestimmten Wert eingibt, sollten weitere Felder eingeblendet werden. Gibt der Nutzer z.B. bei Benachrichtigung "ja" ein, soll erst die Abfrage von Name und Anschrift usw. erfolgen.

    Aktuell muss man immer alle möglichen Felder programmieren, auch wenn diese häufig nicht benötigt werden und die Workflow-Bearbeitung dadurch langsamer machen.

16. Fehlgeschlagene Intelligent Indexing Versuche automatisch wiederholen

    Wenn beispielsweise die OCR-Erkennung im WebClient zu lange dauert oder der Int. Indexing Dienst offline ist, wäre es schön wenn automatisch nach z.B. 1 Minute eine Wiederholung erfolgt. Der Benutzer also nicht mehr "Intelligent Indexing wiederholen“ klicken muss.

18. Allow additive Assignment of Tasks (Roles + Users + Variables)

    Allow additive assignment of Tasks (Roles + Users + Variables)

    It would be really super helpful if Tasks could use additive assignment throughout. This especially is true for escalation / rerouting. For example to add the a manager when escalating, so that the original person still can act on the task as well.

    As it is now, this won't work. Consider the scenario:
    - An incoming document triggers a workflow.
    - The document has an index field "Assignment" and it's value is "Joe"
    - A User-type global variable is populated with the value from "Assignment"
    - The workflow assigns the document, using that variable, to Joe.
    - A task requiring Joe's decision is overdue. The task escalates to Manager, Rob.
    - Joe can no longer access the task to perform the decision.
    - Manager Rob says "hey Joe, do that thing, we need it right now" but Joe cannot. Only Rob can now.

    Other things can be assigned to an additive combination of Users, Roles, and Variables. I can add Roles and Users to a notification. Or to a Document Tray. Or to a Task List. It should be the same for the tasks as well. In this case, the manager could already be assigned to the task, and just receive a notification when it's overdue.

    Quite related: It also would be helpful in this case to customize the TO: field of the initial notification of a Task. I'm not sure why this is locked down to only be allowed to go to the users currently assigned (reminders and escalations can go to any additive combination of roles, users, and variables but the the recipient list initial of the notification cannot be changed). I mean, I get it, the links to the Task or Task List wouldn't work for those not assigned, but a document link would let them still see it. The verbiage of the notification is down to the person setting it up, anyway. If I want to assign a Task to a whole team of people, but only notify a certain person (coordinator on the team maybe) then I must create a separate notification before the task, and it cannot have a link to the task.

    The limits here can combine to be very restrictive when configuring workflows to meet the endlessly different needs and preferences of our customers.

19. Ich schlage vor, dass die Anmerkungsebene nicht nur für die Stempel aus bzw. eingeblendet werden kann - sondern auch für das Dokument.

    Da teilweise so viele Stempel auf einem Dokument vorhanden sind, wäre es vom Vorteil auch nur die Stempel sehen zu können. Die Funktion aus bzw. einblenden von Dokumenten wäre hilfreich.

20. Allow users to change the background color of the web client

    We have AutoCAD drawings that have lighter colored lines and it is hard to see on the white background.
