1. FullText search result list to show summary view of first keyword

   In the application of a legal store and retrieval project scenario when doing a FullText search could the result list show a summary of text before and after the first found keyword to give some basic context to the document found. For example; you search for "John Smith litigation" and you can preview a sentence like "in 1975, John Smith company was in a litigation battle because...."

   This sentence would appear in a mouse-over bubble in the result list per returned document. Currently having to double click and have the complete first page open up is a slow process when trying to research through a large volume of unstructured documents.

2. Vollautomatisiertes Vorausfüllen von (Ablage-)Dialogen durch SQL

   Nun wurde ja bereits der deutschsprachige Artikel:

   mit Docuware 6.9 umgesetzt. (Vielen Dank dafür!)

   Es wurde bei der Umsetzung in DW 6.9 ganz offensichtlich eine entscheidende Funktion nicht umgesetzt: Der vollständige Automatismus: Derzeit muss ich das Dropdown-Menü öffnen um den einen per Subselect (geholten) Wert auszuwählen.
   Mir erschließt sich jetzt noch nicht, wie ich die nachfolgenden Felder vollautomatisch ausgefüllt bekomme.
   Konkret: Wenn das „Subselect“ für Feld2 in Abhängigkeit von Feld1 nur noch einen Rückgabewert liefert, dann soll der gleich in das entsprechende Feld vorausgefüllt werden.
   Dies war so in den Kommentaren von Florian Adler im englischsprachigen Artikel und von Özgür Gümüs im deutschsprachigen Artikel gewünscht.
   Da es nicht weiter thematisiert wurde, möchte ich mir das jetzt noch einmal konkret wünschen, ich würde jetzt sogar noch einen Schritt weiter gehen: ich möchte auch Stichwort-Felder damit automatisiert füllen können – also auch wenn ich mehr als einen Rückgabewert aus dem „Subselect“ bekomme, dann sollen die zurückgegebenen Werte bereits in dem Stichwortfeld der Ablagemaske eingetragen sein.
   Hintergrund: Wir betreiben derzeit einen Riesenaufwand um ca. 150000 Datensätze im Docuware aktuell zu halten und bei Änderungen Doubletten aus Docuware zu löschen, damit wir über „Automatisch Vervollständigen“ STRG-ALT-L bzw. STRG-ALT-J diese Werte aus der lokalen Datenbank in die Ablagemaske holen können. Dafür müssen wir sofort nach Ablage des Dokumentes ein Hilfsfeld sofort wieder ändern, damit es uns bei der nächsten Auto-Vervollständigung nicht den letzt-abgelegten Wert mit den ganzen zusätzlichen Einträgen in die Ablagemaske holt. Dabei wird auch das Stichwortfeld "Verträge" mit allen möglichen (aktiven) Vertragsnummern vorausgefüllt, sodass der DW-Anwender nur noch die Vertragsnummern herauslöscht, die bei dieser Korrespondenz nicht betroffen sind - Tippfehler werden so ausgeschlossen.
   DW Autoindex arbeitet quasi ununterbrochen (da durch XMLs die Aktualisierung auch extrem langsam ist, wenn man das mit einem SQL-Update vergleicht) und der DW-Server ist stark mit sich selber beschäftigt.

   Zum Vergleich: In dem Produkt Mailconnect von Docuscan ist es seit Jahren möglich längere SQL-Syntax so zu hinterlegen, dass nach füllen von einem ersten Feld ein bzw. mehrere folge-Felder automatisch gefüllt werden in dem Augenblick, wenn das erste Feld „verlassen“ wird. Es gibt sogar Fehlerwerte zurück, wenn bestimmte Bedingungen nicht zutreffen.
   Konkret:
   Ich gebe die Kundennummer ein und es füllt sich beim Verlassen des Feldes automatisch Kundenname, Mitglied und Mitgliedstatus

   Eine Syntax im DocuScan für eines der Ablagefelder funktioniert tadellos, bei der eine 6stellige Kundennummer (BPNUMMER) – hier als Variable in den geschweiften Klammern für das Sub-Select genutzt werden kann um den Namen zu dieser Nummer in den Ablagedialog von Mailconnect zu „holen“

   Es ist schwer nachzuvollziehen, warum zu archivierende E-Mails diesen Komfort in einer 3rd-Party-Software seit Jahren bieten und sich Docuware damit schwer tut dies in Ablage-Dialogen nachzurüsten.
   Es würde die Ablage noch einmal deutlich beschleunigen können.

   Wenn es sich mit den normalen Funktionen von Docuware nicht vereinbaren lässt, dann wäre ein „Ablage-Tool“, was genau das kann interessant um den Ablage-Prozess zu vereinfachen.

3. Ablagemasken über Administration ausblenden

   Wir machen gelegentlich Ablagemasken, die nur für die Ablage aus Outlook relevant sind. Als Nebeneffekt werden diese dem User jedoch auch noch z. B. bei der Ablage aus dem Briefkorb angezeigt.
   Schön wäre es, wenn man einstellen könnte, ob die Ablagemaske sichtbar sein soll oder nicht. Bzw. man einstellen könnte, dass die nur für C2O genutzt wird

4. Ich schlage vor, dass im Intelligent Indexing ein weiteres Feld im Standard ausgelesen wird.

   Die Bestellnummer ist für viele Unternehmen der Dreh- und Angelpunkt bei der Verbuchung von Rechnungen. Dieses Feld kann leider nur ein "Kann-Feld" sein. Nicht jede Rechnung wird mit Bestellbezug ausgestellt, aber ein Großteil (Serie) wird mit Bestellung berechnet.

5. Indexfilter nach Rollenzugehörigkeit

   Man sollte nicht nur explizipt den Usernamen, sondern auch Zugehörigkeit zu einer Rolle in Indexprofilen angeben können.
   Also zB
   Benutzer ist Mitglied der Rolle [Feld Abteilung]

   In Feld Abteilung steht zB Buchhaltung
   So könnte man komplexe Rechteszenarios sehr einfach Abbilden ohne viele Indexfilter zu definieren.

7. documentcreation tool

   most document management software offers the possibilities to extract stored document data and export it into a Word template. From there you can complete the document and store it as a new document in DocuWare. I guess this issue has been asked a few years ago and i don't see it comming. Most of my prospects are asking for this feature.

10. Alphabetische Sortierung Briefkorb anpassen

    Aktuell haben wir das Problem, das die "Alphabetische Sortierung" wie folgt sortiert "R#1, R#10, R#2". Die "Natural Sortierung" bringt auch nichts, da die Dokumente von der ScanApp scheinbar nicht nach der Reihenfolge abgelegt wird, wie am Scanner eingelegt.

    Aus diesem Grund benötigen wir die Möglichkeit, den "Dokumentennamen" in der ScanApp mit zu modifizieren, z.B.: Statt R#R2 die Datei R#R02 benennen, dann passt auch die "Alphabetische Sortierung"

11. URL Creater Options

    I would like to be able to create URL's that will take someone to the full Docuware interface while still redirecting them to the piece I want. Currently, if I want to take someone to their task list, it gives them a pruned down interface that doesn't allow them to use all of the features of docuware. Very confusing for the users, as there is no easy way to get the the full interface from the hobbled version.

12. Offline Synchronisation ausgewählter Ordner

    Wie man es bereits aus Cloud-Diensten kennt, sollte es eine Möglichkeit der Offline-Synchronisation auch beim DocuWare Windows Explorer Client geben. (Sowohl bei der Cloud, als auch bei der on premise Lösung). Um diese Funktionalität zu haben, muss oft noch parallel mit z. B. One Drive gearbeitet werden.

16. Ich benötigen ASAP die Möglichkeit zurück wieder Baskets für viele Anwender anlegen zu können

    Sehr geehrtes Docuware-Team,

    bei der Aufwandseinschätzung "Neuinstallation" hatte ich leider nicht auf dem Zettel, dass bereits verfügbare (und auch gute!) Features entfernt werden. Unter älteren DW-Versionen war es möglich einen Basket so anzulegen, dass er entsprechend der Zuweisung zu Anwendern dann gleich vielfach angelegt wird und jeder Anwender damit seinene eigenen Basket bekommt (z.B. "persönlich" wird zu "persönlich-dwadmin)
    Jetzt habe ich nochmal explizit im Support angerufen und bekomme als Antwort, dass es in 6.11 nicht mehr möglich ist sowas zu machen.

    Jetzt habe ich hier knapp 300 Baskets einzeln anzulegen - Ihr habt doch wirklich etwas genommen - sowas zu entfernen ist doch idiotisch - angeblich keine Verwendung dafür. ?!

    Wenn ihr mit 6.12 dann gleich dieses Feature mit baut:

17. Thunderbid eingebunden wird.

    Moin,

    ich bin wegen DocuWare - schweren Herzens - zu Outlook zurückgekehrt, weil dank Mail Connect (einem kostenplfichtigen Zusatzmodul) die Mails automatisch gesichert werden.

    Wie befürchtet läuft Outlook instabil. Die Ablage mit Mail Connect ist völlig unproblematisch, aber Outlook ist eine Katastrophe.

    Ich wünsche mir mein Thunderbird zurück und die Möglichkeit automatisch bestimmte Konten in Docuware ablegen zu können.

    Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

19. Catch All Error Block

    It would be incredibly useful to have a workflow wide error handling option. With the addition of the error variables in 6.11, this would allow a single action to be taken regardless of error location, and greatly simplify workflow design.

    As it is, connecting all of the error outputs becomes hideously complex very quickly.

20. Workflow Designer: Auslöser Bedinungen mehrere Kriterien

    Es wäre gut wenn als Auslöser-Bedingungen auch die "Allgemeine Suchmaske" mit vielen Bedingungen vorhanden wäre.
    Wir haben zum Teil sehr komplexe Workflow und müssen aktuell immer prüfen das nicht mehrer Workflows sich kolidieren.
