When using the Checkout feature of version control there is no notice that the document is checked out to a subsequent user if they are only viewing the document. A notice of being checked out is only shown if a subsequent viewer attempts to edit the document. A notice should also be provided that the document is check out even if they are only viewing it. Otherwise the user viewing the document is assuming that it is the most current version and may take action accordingly not knowing that they should actually wait and view the document later after any…

Freie Programmierung einer "Zeile" - gern auch in Verbindung mit WF-Manager
Derzeit würden wir für ein Kundenprojekt eine "frei programmierbare Zeile" gut gebrauchen können um z.B. dieses SQL-Query "antriggern" zu können:

sum(betrag) as "Summe BETRAG",
count (bpname) as "Anzahl Positionen"FROM [dwdata].[dbo].[ARCHIV]
where BETRAG is not null
group by [BPNAME], [STATUS]
order by BPNAMEmit der man auf einen Klick einen Überblick über die Summen und Anzahl der Posten in der Buchhaltung bekommen könnte

Trennen von geklammerten Dateien
Es sollte möglich sein auch geklammerte Dokumente mit dem "trennen" Button voneinander zu trennen. Bisher ist dies nur bei gehefteten Seiten möglich.
Anwendungsfall: Es wurde ein Dokument in der falschen Reihenfolge geklammert und aus diesem Grund in den Briefkorb ausgecheckt. Hier muss nun das gesamte Dokument entklammert werden, wobei die Reihenfolge zwar bei der Version 6.7 bestehen bleibt, aber es bei vielen Dateien unübersichtlich wird. Hier wäre es praktischer, wenn man mit dem "trennen" Button an einer bestimmten Stelle das Dokument entklammern könnte.(wie bei den gehefteten Dokumenten)

Can you add a Skip feature when storing documents?
After selecting a group of documents from a tray and dragging them to the store dialog, if I find I have an issue with a document and I want to leave it in the tray and not store it, I have to press cancel and re-select the remaining documents and again dragto the dialog. Can a skip icon be added so we can stop doing this and instead after storing the final document the screen returns to the documents I skipped?

Ability to select a shared/group mailbox for Connect to Outlook watched folder
Right now, you can only configure the connection to your default mailbox. If you have a shared/group mailbox.. i.e AP mailbox, we would want the ability to select/create a watched folder within the group mailbox to track what items are pending to store.

Make it possible to rename values in keyword fields
In the Windows client a user could go to the Info box and select a keyword value and rename it very easily. In the Web client a user must delete and recreate a value. This can be very difficult if there are several keyword values associated to the field and they have several characters.

Using Connect to Outlook auto populate index fields from attachments
When a user has Connect to Outlook and they go to store an email with an attachment, it would be nice if the user could open the attachment and auto-populate the index fields with matching fields from the attachment.

Alphabetical list of search dialogs in WebClient
When I go to Settings > searches, to enable which search dialogs I want to be visible. I see a list of 40+ dialogs, but they are not alphabetical so I cannot easily find the one I want!!

Add .ptx files as a supported file
Adding .ptx file format would be beneficial to Docuware because there are law firms and court systems that use this type of file format for their records. This is a standard form of file type for law firms, attorneys and court houses across the nation.

Per Doppelklick ein Programm öffnen
Es sollte möglich sein per Doppelklick im WebClient ein Programm zur Anzeige öffnen. Früher konnte man dies pro Dateiendung (z.B. XLS, DOC...) über die Administration einstellen (Für Anzeige- / Beabreitungsprogramm). Heute kann man nur mit Rechtsklick / Bearbeiten das Bearbeitungsprogramm öffnen, welches der Dateiendung in Windows hinterlegt ist. Der Doppelklick mit linker Maustaste ist derzeit nicht konfigurierbar.

Add the function "jump directly to the last document" in the Viewer in case of documents put together with a clip.
Lawyers have an awful amount of documents in their cases/lawsuit (sometimes more than 200) and they put them together with a clip. Nevertheless in the Viewer you can only jump from one after the other, which meas you have to make 200 clics until you see the last document.

prompt field in lists
I'd like to see the ability to prompt for input on certain fields for Lists. So a list would be set with certain fields that are hard coded but have the ability to prompt the user for values for other fields.

Visibility of the workflow document when openning the linked documents
The preview of the document selected from workflow should be remains open when openning the linked documents. This is the functionality of Docuware 6.1. Now in the Docuuware 6.7 this functionality has been removed. Currently the preview of the document selected from Tasks is closed when you look into linked documents.

Shorten the long URL that points to a Result List
When we mail the Result List URL using the "Send Result List" option, the result list URL is very long.

Die Schnellsuche bei Connect to Outlook sollte auch mit Readonly Lizenzen nutzbar sein
Einige Kunden haben wenige Client Lizenzen aber eine Readonly Lizenz, nun nutzt Connect to Outlook für die Schnellsuche "immer" die Volllizenzen. Somit ist das nicht lang nutzbar. Man sollte einstellen können ob die Volllizenz oder die R/O Lizenz genommen werden soll. In meinem Beispiel wurden die Öffentlichen Ordner zentral archiviert, es wurden über Connect to Outlook keine Individuellen Mails abgelegt.

Allow Organizational Admin to Edit Network ID
It's always been crazy to me the organizational admin user in DocuWare can not edit a Network ID of a user. You have to log into DW administration as the user to do it. That can be an enormous pain with systems with hundreds of users.

Allow page deletion after a document has been stored into the file cabinet.
It would be nice if you could delete and organize pages after they have been stored into the file cabinet. This function should be available in your tray as well.

Automate DesktopApp default connection to PlatformRO
When deploying DWDesktopApp there is a script on the DW FAQ site called "DocuWareXXDesktopAppsSilent_Install.bat". This can be used to automate the deployment of DWDesktopApp. The problem is the portion that directs the creation of the default connection does not work with PlatformRO. You must manually log into your Read Only Platform site and use the "Connect Desktop Apps" option.
I would be great if customers who purchased RO and SmartConnect could automate the creation of the default connection to PlatformRO as well as have a visual representation in the DesktopApp that showed the app's connection was…

Benuter sollten named Lizenzen freigeben können
Es sollte jedem Benutzer möglich sein, seine named Lizenz wieder "frei" zu geben. Aktuell ist es so, dass bei einem Browserabsturz oder ähnlichem die named Lizenz bis zu 30 Minuten geblockt ist.

Einführung einer Stempel-Leiste und mehr Optionen bei Stempeln
Ich schlage vor, dass man (in Bezug auf den WF-Manager ab DW 6.6) eine Stempel-Leiste einführt, in der Stempel in chronologischer Reihenfolge angezeigt werden.
Zusätzlich sollte man vielleicht zwischen einem Stempel und den restlichen Anmerkungen differenzieren - vielleicht sogar zwischen herkömmlichen Stempeln und Stempel, die über ein Formular im WF-Manager-Modul (ab 6.6) automatisch gesetzt wurden.
Hintergrund ist, dass das automatisierte Stempeln sehr verbesserungsfähig ist, was die Position angeht.
Argumente des Kunden:
1.) Stempel abgeschnitten weil über den Rand des Dokumentes gestempelt wurde
2.) Stempelpositionen wild durcheinander und keine zeitliche Abfolge erkennbar
3.) selbst mit Stempel-Hotfix kam es vor, dass ein…107 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee.
