DocuWare Cloud - Auswahl der zu installierenden DocuWare Desktop Apps pro Benutzer
Bei der DocuWare Cloud Version sollte es möglich sein, als Administrator festzulegen, welcher Benutzer welche DocuWare Desktop Apps installieren darf.
So verursacht beispielsweise die Installation vom DocuWare Local Data Connector Probleme mit Fremdsoftware. Die Installation dieser App, sollte nicht an betreffenden Clients möglich sein.

give workflow designers the ability to customize font styles in workflow tasks
It would be great if we could customize the font that displays Descriptions in workflow tasks. I'm using those to give users additional information so they can make the proper decision (eg. error messages or data validation messages like "DocuWare has detected a duplicate invoice with such-and-such information", etc) and it would make these much more effective if we could make the more critical pieces of information stand out a bit, either by making them boldface, a larger font size, or a different font colour.

List which Document Processing Configurations have Automatic Identification enabled
In the Configuration page, when viewing the list of Document Processing Configurations, it would be helpful if there was a column that showed which configurations had Automatic Identification enabled.

Log which duplicate import configurations are found
When using automatic identification on Import/Printer/Scan configurations, sometimes a document may match multiple configurations, and rerouted to the default inbox. The log file mentions that "more than one configuration was found" but it doesn't tell us which ones it matches. Troubleshooting requires opening each configuration and checking the identification settings. This is very time consuming if there are many import configurations.

Allow processing import configurations via an autoindex workflow
Sometimes when mass importing you find an import template needed to allow for changes in labeling or location of data. It may be that an entirely new template needs to be created.
It would be amazing if you were able to send documents that already exist in DocuWare into a processing queue that would run another recognition on the document(s). By applying a filter you would limit it to only run on documents that you want to process.

add a configurable stamp activity to Workflow Designer
Add a specific activity in the Workflow Designer that places a configurable stamp. Give the designer the ability to pick the location of the stamp (either have DocuWare automatically place it, as it does now, or have the workflow creator input X and Y coords), and let the workflow creator pick the global variables or index fields or text for the stamp. We have several workflows that have a lot of fields in the decision tasks and the resulting stamp is huge and contains a lot of info that isn't required.

Allow setting hours and minutes in Schedule of Export/Transfer Workflow in Docuware 7
Please allow setting hours and minutes again in Schedule of Export/Transfer Workflow instead of only allowing hours. It's a major setback in Docuware 7 compared with former Docuware 6.

WEC - Sofortige Verbindung gleich nach dem Öffnen
Da der WEC keinen auto-refresh nutzt muss das erste Synchronisieren der Daten leider von Hand geschehen. Dies ist der erste Klick auf den WEC.
Die Verbindung sollte automatisch gleich nach dem Öffnen des WEC aufgebaut werden, ohne zuerst darauf klicken zu müssen.

C2Mail: Bilder in Email nicht als separater Anhang importieren
Ähnlich wie bei Connect2Outlook wäre es hilfreich auch hier eingebettete Bilder nicht als separater Anhang zu importieren.

CLOUD: Connect to Outlook Konfiguration mit local data connection nutzen
In der Cloud gibt es ja schon den local data connector. Zudem gibt es auch in der Cloud bei der Konfiguration von einer Connect to Outlook Ablage die Möglichkeit die Felder per SQL-Abfrage auszufüllen. Damit kann man aber meines Wissens nach in der Cloud noch nicht mit arbeiten. Meine Idee wäre hier einfach eine local data connection auszuwählen und somit auch ein Index-Feld füllen zu können.
Bei der Auswahl "DocuWare-Archiv" gab es früher (unter Silverlight) die Möglichkeit die Suchkriterien frei anzugeben. Diese Funktion wurde ja auch rausgenommen. Umso wichtiger ist nun die Funktion mit der local data connection.

Would it be possible for you to add, an additional parameter in the installation of the desktop client (the installation path). I found myself stuck at a customer who is under Cytrix. applications are published and install on another drive

Workflow Designer - Add Attachment as task completion option
Create an option for attachment of documents to existing workflow manager for completion of task and have the document staple to the current file. Ex; Attach a shipping document to a PO for verification.
Currently the option to clip documents to it and moving the workflow is an option, but am having it requested that an attachment HAS to be placed before proceeding.

Automatically change label names when you change a database field name
Currently, when you change the name of a database field, the dialogs all keep the old field name as a "Label". This forces me to go into every dialog (including result list and index dialogs) and erase the label so that it matches the new field name.
When I'm changing a database field name, it is because a customer wants the field name to change everywhere.

have the ability to reorder pages in docuware easier
Reordering a document that is in docuware is cumbersome and very difficult. Especially if it is a large document. There is no way to check out a document and check it back in if the first page of the document you are reordering isn't the same. What if we didn't want page 1 to be page 1?

Allow adhoc input for the AD Attribute I want to Synchronize with the User Sync Tool
In the Cloud Active Directory Sync tool there are only two choices for what attribute to sync to DW for the user name: sAMAccountName and userPrincipalName and they are hard coded into the tool.
I suggest that the attribute be a fill in box that allows me to select the attribute that I want to sync much like the on premise one does. I have accounts that use the employeeID attribute to be their DW username so that a filter can be set up for them to only see their document when they log in.

Allow "regular" standard select lists in Forms rather than always doing the filtering thing.
When filling out a form, it is now possible to type arbitrary text into select list entry fields. This filtering behavior is not commonly found on webpages and has caused some consistent confusion and frustration for our customers and their clients when forms won't submit.
Not all users of these forms are super savvy, especially for public forms, where users are not familiar with the concept of filtering. They type something in, and say "i'm done with that one" and move on.
Regular drop down lists that you click a choice and that's it should be allowed as an option.…

Concurrent-Lizenz-Managing-Funktion, die abgewiesene Logins freundlich beantwortet und sich beim Login-Suchenden aktiv meldet, wenn für ihn die Concurrent-Lizenz die nächsten 15 Minuten freigehalten wird.

Das ist schon eine tolle Funktion! Aber in einem Unternehmen mit mehreren hundert Mitarbeitern (m/w) geht die Funktion ganz schön ins Lizenz-Geld dafür, dass ein Mitarbeiter vielleicht drei Mal im Jahr so ein Dokument zu bestätigen hat! Concurrent-Lizenzen sind da meines Erachtens auch keine Lösung, weil sich die Kollegen dabei schnell gegenseitig blockieren und spätestens nach dem dritten abgewiesenen Login schulterzuckend das Handtuch…8 votes
