In WorkFlow, conditional field show
For example:
If DocType ="invoice" then SHOW field "Total Invoice".

You can use a condition before the task and then use two different tasks. This seems to be a little more complicated, but structures the workflow easier readable and makes the single tasks less difficult to configure.

Datensätze über DocuWare Import direkt ins Archiv ablegen
Leider ist es noch nicht möglich über den DW Import Datenbankeinträge direkt ins Archiv hinzuzufügen. Der Importer benötigt immer eine physikalisch Datei (Pseudo-Datei +.dwcontrol-Datei).
Ggf. macht ein CSV-Import von mehreren Datensätzen aus einer CSV ja auch Sinn.

Passwort-Historie / Mindestgültigkeitsdauer
Es besteht aktuell keine Möglichkeit eine Passworthistorie zu definieren, d.h., dass die letzten x Passwörter nicht wiederverwendet werden dürfen. Man kann zwar einstellen, dass Passwörter ablaufen, aber das alte Passwort kann erneut verwendet werden.
Um zu verhindern, dass die Passworthistorie umgangen werden kann, sollte dann zudem eine Mindestgültigkeitsdauer (z.B. Passwort darf erst wieder nach 1 Stunde/1 Tag vom User geändert werden) definiert werden können (Passwort-Resets durch den Administrator sollten von der Mindestgültigkeitsdauer ausgeschlossen sein.).
Hierbei handelt es sich um good-practice Einstellungen, die heutzutage gàngige Praxis sind. Speziell von IT-Sicherheit und IT-Revision werden diese Einstellungen gefordert.

Druckausgabe über den Workflow Manager
Über den Workflow Manager sollen Dokumente ausgedruckt werden, eine Druckfunktion wäre hier sinnvoll mit Zugriff auf die am Server installierten Drucker.
6 votesWir haben diese Idee bereits in unserem Backlog. Allerdings können wir diese Funktion nicht kurzfristig umgesetzt.
Eine Alternative wäre, dass Sie einen Drucker verwenden, der Dokumente ausdruckt, die sie an eine E-Mail-Adresse schicken. Der Workflow Manager könnte das Dokument dann per Mail an diese Adresse schicken und der Drucker druckt das Dokument. Falls Ihr Drucker dies nicht unterstützt, können Sie eine Software z.B. http://www.automatic-print-email.com/ einsetzen, die die Anhänge der Mails druckt.

Restore the ability to Attach, Delete, or Skip when pre-indexing
Previous versions of DocuWare (Windows Client) allowed the user to essentially staple pages to a document when in the Storage Mask. The user would select a group of documents from a Basket and drag them to a store dialog, and click the pre-indexing check box. When clicked, this would enable three new buttons, Attach, Delete and Skip. This allowed the user to construct documents by attaching, deleting or skipping pages while indexing, without having to go back to a basket or tray. Web Client - Auto Abmelden
In früheren Versionen gab es die Funktion, das die Client Lizenz nach Zeitraum "X" Inaktivität freigegeben wird. Dies bemängeln alle unsere Kunden nach Upgrade auf die aktuelle Version.

all the users that acces to a document can modify all annotations, it will be better to make possible to force only the creator to modify or delete his annotations

automatischen Import Konfigurationserkennung in einem Scan
Unterschiedliche Konfigurationen sollen in einem Scan erkannt werden.
Beispiel Konfiguration X erkennt Barcodes die mit einer 5 anfangen. Konfiguration Y erkennt Barcodes die mit einer 1 anfangen. Scannt man jetzt beide Barcodes zusammen ein kann er diese nicht unterscheiden und deswegen muss der Kunde immer getrennt scannen.3 votes -
Prompt to save when index entries have been changed
When using the viewer with index entries, any changes are not saved unless you press the save button.
If you close the document without pressing the save button you are NOT prompted to "Save Changes".This could cause problems for users if they
1. Open the Document
2. Change the index entries (but not press save)
3. Make an annotation on the document
4. Close the Document

Passwords should not be repeated in in the last 12, 60 day cycles.
A user should not be able to alternate between the same two passwords.

Allow the 'Create Data Record' option available in the web client to also be available in Workflow Manager
Allow the Assign Data activity to create data records in a file cabinet. Two use cases where this might be useful; the posting of GL records for invoices, where invoices are in one cabinet and GL records in another as a 1 to many relationship. And the prepopulating of index data for documents that may be added later, such as a PO for an Invoice or a Shipping Manifest or BoL.

Display a scond column in a Select list, other than the one used for the index field
This would allow a description of the data being chosen by the user, such as GL account name for a GL number, or user name for a UserShortName, or Vendor name for a vendor ID. This would also prevent truncation of a field and violating the new Select List Only configuration.

Enable OCR for automatic recognition of non-PDF documents in DW Import
When creating a new Import configuration you can use OCR for setting up automatic recognition as well as splitting and indexing, but only on PDFs. Since users use Import for more than just PDFs it would be great if that was available, since DocuWare routinely OCR's a stunning number of document types in other areas of the application (ie. point-and-click indexing, full-text search indexing...)

Append document in front from file system
Currently it is only possible to append documents in front of another, already archived document by having the documents which you want to append in a basket or filecabinet.
We would like to have the possibility to use a file from filesystem or simply a stream instead of uploading the file to a basket first.

Allow changing real file name during Copy To
Currently, if I have a document that I might use as a template for a new document and I perform a "Copy To" operation, the base file name will remain the same. This makes it impossible to edit two resulting documents side by side in an editor such as Word or Excel because their base filename is identical.
Either the file should be opened as the "File Name" index, or the option to change the file name during "Copy To" needs to allow the base file name to be specified.
Currently, the cumbersome workaround is to download the document, rename…

workflow copy objects in workflow.
you can copy workflow objects one at a time but that still requires me to attach them and get them on the right place. I would like to select a group of objects in workflow design at one time and copy them to another workflow.

Persönliche Aufgaben Historie
Bei Verwendung von Workflows hat der einzelne User keinen Überblick über die von ihm bearbeiteten Aufgaben.
Das ist aber zur Nachverfolgung sehr hilfreich und eine persönliche Aufgabenhistorie würde hier sehr helfen.
Darüber könnte jeder User seine von ihm bearbeiteten Aufgaben einfach nachverfolgen und muss sie nicht umständlich im Archiv suchen.7 votesWe are currently not considering your idea.

Intelligent Indexing Datumsformat fest hinterlegen
Wir haben den Kundenwunsch das Datumsformat für die Erkennung fest auf DD.MM.YYY einzustellen. Bei englischsprachigen Belegen wird sehr häufig das Datumsformat MM.DD.YYYY erkannt, der Kunde hat jedoch keine Belege mit diesem Datumsformat und dadurch unnötigen Mehraufwand.

Volltextsuche innerhalb eines Dokumentes anpassen
Hallo zusammen,
ist ein Dokument im Viewer aufgerufen, kann über die Werkzeugleiste innerhalb des Dokumentes eine Volltextsuche gestartet werden. Jedoch gibt es leider nur die Parameter aufwärts und abwärts suchen. Befindet man sich auf Seite 3 des Dokumentes und weiß nicht wo sich ein bestimmter Eintrag befindet kann man nur ein Ratespiel beginnen, aufwärts oder abwärts suchen.
Toll wäre es wenn es dort noch den Punkt "Über das ganze Dokument suchen" geben würde.
