3. Allow user to set additional preferences for DocuWare Viewer pop out window

   Would like to be able to have the DocuWare Viewer open in same window while indexing and in new window while searching. Currently, the only options are "Always show DocuWare Viewer in same window" and "Open DocuWare Viewer in a new window." These options should be expanded.

   While it is handy to view the document immediately next to the empty indexing fields, having the document appear next to search results is cumbersome. The crowded window means the user has to scroll left and right to check indexed information. Since the page resets its alignment when a user sorts a search by a particular indexing field, there is even more left/right scrolling that wastes time.

4. Ausgecheckte Dokumente verbergen

   Wichtig wäre es,dass von einem Benutzer ausgecheckte Dokumente von einem anderen User nicht gesehen werden, bzw. es eine solche Option gibt, dass andere User diese nicht sehen. Dies hat den Hintergrund, dass Mitarbeiter dann quasi doppelt eine Aufgabe innerhalb ihres Unternehmens bearbeiten. Denn sie sehen das Dokument. Also nicht die Arbeit im DW unbedingt, sondern auch andere Tätigkeiten, die mit dem Dokument im Zusammenhang stehen. Ja man kann erkennen wenn das Dokument ausgechekt ist, aber nur marginal und viele viele User erkennen das nicht, das links der Button ein wenig grau ist. Diese Möglichkeit bestand in einer der früheren Versionen ob Fat- oder Webclient. Laut Kunden geht es seit dem Update auf 6.7 nicht mehr. Damals war es wohl ohne Versionsmanagement möglich (auch aus- und einzuchecken). Ein weiteres Problem diesbezüglich ist, das Mitarbeiter sich auch diese Dokumente ausdrucken können, zwar nicht bearbeiten aber sie sehen das Dokument und können es ausdrucken. Dies müsste auch unterbunden werden.

   Wichtig wäre es,dass von einem Benutzer ausgecheckte Dokumente von einem anderen User nicht gesehen werden, bzw. es eine solche Option gibt, dass andere User diese nicht sehen. Dies hat den Hintergrund, dass Mitarbeiter dann quasi doppelt eine Aufgabe innerhalb ihres Unternehmens bearbeiten. Denn sie sehen das Dokument.    Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass wenn Docuware branchenspezifische Grundkonfigurationen als XML-Datei zum Download anbietet, dass man dann gewisse "Grund-Standards" schafft, (die den Konfigurationsaufwand verkleinern und uns Admins dichter an den "best practise" bringt. Peters Engineering ist da schon ein guter Ansatz, ich könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass man das auf z.B. Automobilbranche, Gesundheitswesen/Pflegewesen/QM/Buchhaltung erweitern könnte

8. Disable Annotations when viewing Documents in a Document Tray/Web Basket.

   Annotations rights are only controlled at the File Cabinet Profile level. Some users would like to be able to the ability to use annotations on documents in a Document Tray/Web Basket.

9. Add scripting for field values on Import and Smart Connect

   Please add the ability to enhance extracted (OCR) data from documents during Import, Smart Connect and Printer. Having the ability to massage the data read (replace l with 1, z with 2, etc...) with vbscript or javascript would greatly enhance functionality.

10. Allow the ability to change the field order in multiple task lists in DocuWare Admin Online

    Currently, you have to go through each individual task list and change the order of the fields one by one. It would be extremely time saving to be able to apply the field order changes to multiple task lists at the same time if they have the same fields.

11. Request Dateien (Zip) per DW Import autom. in ein Archiv importieren

    es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn man z.B. Request Dateien (Zip.Dateien) einfach in ein von DW Import überwachtes Verzeichnis kopieren könnte. Diese Zip.Dateien würden dann in ein DW Archiv autom. abgelegt werden.

12. Print direct to printer

    I would like to be able to print documents direct to a printer without having first to print them as a pdf.

    Presently I need to print a document to pdf and then send it to the printer from my pdf viewer. Additionally, each document printed in this way leaves a window open in my pdf viewer, and these need to be closed manually rather than being closed once the instruction to print on a printer has been sent.

    It also means that if I am viewing the document in DocuWare it is being loaded twice, once in DocuWare's own viewer and once as a pdf document. We have also tried printing from the web browser direct but this picks up any toolbars etc. being displayed.

13. Mehr Vergleichsoperatoren im WF-Manager wie z.B. EMPTY() oder Fester Wert

    Als Vergleichsoption vermisse ich im WF-Manager die Möglichkeit mit einem ungefülltem Wert oder einem festen Eintrag vergleichen zu können - beides geht über den Workaround vorher eine Globale WF-Variable zu definieren und diese mit dem zu vergleichendem Wert oder eben mit keinem Wert zu füllen, ist aber umständlich.

16. Zurücksetzen/Leeren der Ablagemaske: zwei Buttons?

    DocuWare hat in der Ablagemaske im Web Client das Verhalten des "Reset/Zurücksetzen"-Buttons geändert.

    Bisheriges Verhalten in der Version 6.1: Leeren aller Felder

    Jetziges Verhalten in der Version 6.7 (evtl ab 6.5): Zurücksetzen der Felder auf den Zustand vor dem aktuellen Ablagevorgang. Falls Felder (z.B. über den Dokumentnamen oder einer Vorindizierung über Import) bereits vorgefüllt waren, werden alle Werte auf diese vorbefüllte Maske zurückgesetzt.

    Beide Verhaltensweisen haben ihre Berechtigung, da z.B. der manuelle Autoindex nicht funktioniert, wenn in einem anderen Feld der Dokumentname eingetragen ist. Hier wäre ein Löschen aller Felder sinnvoll. Auf der anderen Seite ist es auch durchaus sinnvoll auf die vorgefüllten Felder zurückspringen zu können.

    Vorschlag: Einführung eines zweiten Buttons mit der Funktionalität "Leeren der Maske", um dem Benutzer die Entscheidung zu überlassen, welches Verhalten er gerne hätte.

    Dies ist aktuell nicht geplant.

18. Bei den Import Einstellungen die Option neben Sekunden und Minuten auch Stunden auswählen.

    Ich benötige die Funktion das der Import nur Dokumente abholt, die z.B. 48 Stunden alt sind. Leider kann man nur maximal 99 Minuten eingeben. Eintragen kann man 2880, aber bei weitergehen springt die Zahl wieder auf 99. Wieso kann das der DWUpload??? Dort kann ich 2880 min einstellen...

    Dies ist aktuell nicht geplant. Diese Funktion ist für Multifunktionsgeräte gedacht, die Dokumente im Netzwerk speichern. Diese sollten nicht länger als wenige Minuten benötigen, um eine Datei zu schreiben.

    Vielleicht können Sie uns Ihren Anwendungsfall näher beschreiben.
