Add an "Attach from DocuWare" button to the Outlook Ribbon
In Connect to Outlook, there is no way to search for a document when replying to an e-mail. For example: If I receive an e-mail from a customer requesting a copy of their contract. I click “reply” to this e-mail but the only way to attach the contract is to have a Windows Explorer search tree establish. However, using the Windows Explorer tree view is dependent on me knowing exactly where the contract is located in the folder structure, or which version of the contract is the correct one.
If I don’t know exactly where to find it in the Windows Explorer tree view then I need to search for the document. To locate the document I must open the web browser, find the document through the Docuware interface, download it to my desktop and then attach it from the desktop when I reply to the e-mail. This is cumbersome and time-consuming.
It would be better if there were a way to search Docuware to attach a file when replying to an e-mail from within Outlook. Perhaps there is an “Attach from DocuWare” button added to the Outlook ribbon that would open a search dialog wherein one could enter the search criteria, locate a document and attach either the document itself (with or without annotation) or insert a link to the document (for internal replies).
I appreciate your consideration.

when I want to attach a file from Docuware to an email that i am replying to it does not give me the option to do so.
The only option I have is to send file in a new email. Once it opens up a new email in outlook, the rest of outlook besides the new email is disabled and I cannot use any options in outlook unless I exit the new email that was generated by Docuware. Before Docuware, we used a local folder to hold the files and I was able to drag and drop the files into my emails. It was incredibly faster than using the available methods of Docuware, sending 30 - 50 emails a day or more can get very frustrating and time consuming having to download files for each email. An option to attach file to an existing email would be great, or if possible being able to drag and drop from docuware. Without having to manually download the file onto my desktop. We want to keep the files in Docuware cloud, not my desktop.
if there is a way to do this faster than the way I have been doing it, please let me know
