1. Manuelles Autoindex im WebClient über 1. Datensatz

   Im WebClient kann der manuelle Autoindex "Indexierung vervollständigen" bei der Ablage verwendet werden. Hier wird im Gegensatz zum Vollclient immer der aktuellste Datensatz (letzte Docid z.B. zum Kunden) hergenommen, im Vollclient der 1.Datensatz im Archiv z.B. zum Kunden.
   Wenn man den allerersten Datensatz zu einem Kunden im Archiv ablegt vergibt man viele Werte zu diesem Kunden, welche bei weiteren Ablagen wieder mit manuelles Autoindex bzw. Indexierung vervollständigen verwendet werden können. Dies funktionierte alles im Vollclient, aber im Webclient nun leider nicht mehr.

   There should be a replacement for Office Add-In's. I have several customers that used this feature until it quite working correctly with excel documents.

3. Enhance "document splitting" in DW Import to allow splitting on multiple readoutareas when 1 "OR" the other changes, not just "AND"

   I would like to be able to split a report based on multiple pieces of data, when either 1 or the other changes. For example, a document containing a batch or "purchase orders from the customer" that is sorted by "customer #" and then "customer purchase order". A customer may have sent in multiple POs in the batch. It is always possible that 2 different customers could send in the same purchase order number in the same batch.

4. Ability to disable printing without annotations

   We want to limit our users to only print documents as PDF with annotations.
   or Send only as PDF with annotations.
   When we originally set up docuware we were printing our payable checks into docuware then sending the images to a check printer.
   We never dreamed the image would be so clear that the same check can be reprinted to the check printer multiple times from docuware with possible "Fraud" issues.
   We added a non-negotiable image to the checks (after the discovery)
   which corrects the issue going forward.
   We would like to Stamp the older checks and disable the option to print without annotations, to resolve our "At Risk" issues.

   We want to limit our users to only print documents as PDF with annotations.
   or Send only as PDF with annotations.

5. Indexeinträge sollten dauerhaft angezeigt werden können!

   Indexeinträge konnten im alten Web-Client dauerhaft angezeigt werden wenn mehrere Dokumente einer Suche bearbeitet werden mussten.

   Dies ist nun in Vers.6 Web-Client nicht mehr möglich, was für uns einen enormer Rückschritt ist.

   Diese Funktion wieder hinzuzufügen wäre sehr Wichtig!

   Thank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

7. Change the "is different than previous page" Split option to not split if the zone is empty.

   I have had multiple occasions where the first page of a new document has a customer number and the subsequent pages do not. I need a way to say that if the zone has a number in it that is different from the previous, but NOT EMPTY then split before that page. Currently, the “different than previous” option considers a blank zone a new document and this does not work for these scenarios.

8. Connect 2 Mail to also allow the usage of .msg not just .pdf and .eml

   I think it is great you added the .eml to the Exchange configuration in Coonect2Mail feature of 6.6.
   However the .eml extension does not allow for forward/reply/reply all from the right-click context menu. This is currently allowed with an Active import and Connect2Outlook stored emails.
   The only way to forward/reply/reply all is to edit the document. This causes a security concern for users that do not have the edit right/ however they were still able to forward/reply/ reply all from the context menu.

   Please look at adding the emails as .msg again from the C2M module.

9. Have field filled with substring or concatenation of other field

   Hello,
   It could be nice if we can extract a substring of a field to fill another field. I.E.: Invoice has a date as an index. Have the possibility to create 2 index (year and month) for extracting the year and the month. This two new fields could be use in the Windows Explorer view to group invoice by year and month for example.
   It could be substring or the concactenation of several fields.

10. Manuelle Sortierung per Drag&Drop im Webbasket beibehalten.

    Dokumente (scan, email, import) werden im Briefkorb abgelegt. Dort werden diese vom Bearbeiter vorindexiert und manuell in einer Reihenfolge zum klammern vorbereitet. Diese Reihenfolge-Anordnung wird durch Drag & Drop bestimmt. Ab 6.5 ist das offensichtlich nicht mehr möglich.

11. optional fields for groups or user defined tables

    For index filters in profiles we often use a database view on the DocuWare Users and grups ("dwGroups, dwUsers, dwUserToGroup").
    This helps to make a SQL index filter with the user-group settings.
    Often the group name itself is implemented in the index filter. For example the users in the DW group with the name "grp_Accounting" are just allowed to see documents of the business unit "Accounting".
    SQL index filter: CURRENTUSERLONGNAME() IN (SELECT v.User FROM View V Where (dwdata.dbo.archiv.)BusinessUnit = LEFT(3,v.groupName)
    (or something like that)
    If there would be a possibility to give groups optional fields we could take this information directly out of the database instead out of the name.
    This could also be handled if there would be an easy way to create user defined tables in DocuWare.

12. DocuWare Printer weiter drucken

    Der Anwender soll die Möglichkeit haben, selbst zu bestimmen, ob das Dokument weiter gedruckt werden soll oder nur im Archiv/Briefkorb landet.
    Über eine Konfiguration ist dies nicht möglich, da es kein Unterscheidungskriterium für den Weiterdruck gibt.

    JEtzt muss also zweimal gedruckt werden (Beim Tiffmaker gab es dafür zwei verschiedene Druckkonfigurationen)

13. URL Integration; Download auch als PDF bei mehreren Dokumententypen

    Mit Hilfe der URL Integration sollte es möglich sein, einen Download auch als PDF zu erhalten, auch wenn dieses Dokument aus mehreren Dokumententypen besteht.
    Bisher wird bei mehreren Dokumenttypen immer ein Zip-File erstellt und dieses heruntergeladen.
    Über den WebClient ist diese Funktionalität bereits möglich.
    Der Integrations-Parameter p=[V,D] könnte auf p=[V,D,P,PA] erweitert werden.
    V=Viewer
    D=Download
    P=PDF (ohne Anmerkungen)
    PA=PDF (mit Anmerkungen)

14. Expand the Keep Entries dialog to the field level so that users can store multiple documents of similar type

    It looks like DocuWare 6.6 allows users to Keep Entries in the Windows Explorer store dialog in a way that the File Name field changes with each file. The web client does not function in the same way (i.e. if Keep Entries is checked, then all fields will be remain the same. Could you make Keep Entries more modular/precise by having a check box next to each field so that users could choose which entries they want to keep and which they'd like to input different values? I mostly think users would like to uncheck the File Name field and keep everything else selected so that they could store multiple files into a category without having to manually reenter everything or have a specific store dialog created for every filing situation.

17. Automatisches Ablegen mit Archivwahl

    In den früheren Versionen (Windows-Client) gab es die Möglichkeit, Dokumente aus einem beliebigen Briefkorb in ein vom User bestimmtes Archiv abzulegen.
    Diese Funktion fehlt anscheinend im WebClient unter 6.6.

    Diese Funktion wäre praktisch, da man nicht für jedes Archiv einen eigenen Briefkorb definieren muss!

18. Ich schlage vor, dass Connect to Outlook nicht nur auf persönliche Kontakte zugreifen kann sondern auch auf öffentliche Ordner

    Bei Indexvervollständigen kann man zur Zeit nur auf Kontakte im persönlichen Kontakteverzeichnis zugreifen. Nutzt man jedoch Exchange und öffentliche Kontakteordner, ist eine Indexvervollständigung leider nicht automatisch möglich. Wäre aber hilfreich.

    Please bring back the %USERNAME% option for automatic generation of baskets.

    Generating baskets for more than an handful of users used to be very easy using the %USERNAME% option. Please bring this option back into DocuWare to stop us from having to manually generate baskets for every user.
